I made appointment for 3 hour glucose test by phone with Labcorp for 930am on June 26, 2021. When I got there, I checked in on the machine, which said someone would call me when it was time to be seen. At 940, no one had called me yet and so I went to the counter. I was informed that no one could do the test, as the location closed at noon. When I told the people at the counter that my appointment was for 930am, they said the system does not account for how long the appointment time is. The employees were unaccommodating and unapologetic, even after I explained to them that I had fasted for my appointment and rearranged my schedule for the day so that I could be tested. Now I have to miss work and fast again, when I could have been tested at another location had Labcorp handled the appointment competently.
Desired outcome: Apology and $1,500 for the inconvenience of fasting for no reason, having to schedule another appointment, and rearranging my whole schedule for no reason
