I would like to understand the different standards for service levels. My adult daughter and I just had pre-scheduled appointments at the South Transit Rd, Lockport, NY location, both to have blood drawn per physician request. My daughter's bill came in the mail last week, Thursday, February 11, 2021 for services rendered January 13, 2021 and I received my bill on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 for same date of services rendered and I planned to pay it on my payroll date Friday, February 26, 2020. These are both over the "$10.00 limit". Our appointments were for Thursday, February 18, 2021 and one day after receiving my bill. I found out when they were going to deny my service if I did not pay my bill prior to my blood drawn service due to this "limit". My daughter, on the other hand, had her blood drawn and not one word was said to her about her bill. My phlebotomist stated she would not draw my blood and I would have to leave if I did not pay my bill. I would like to know how my daughter can receive services without question, and I was hassled to pay my bill or be denied service. The three phlebotomists were very rude, stating they were only doing their jobs, but what is their jobs if they are hassling one patient to pay a bill one day after receiving it in the mail or denial of services and providing the service to another without word. This is different service levels and I expect better from Quest. I have used them exclusively for years and I will never use Quest facilities or services again. I am so disgusted with the service, the rudeness of the staff, and the sheer different level standards of services provided.
