On today, Monday, December 14, 2020, I visited your store in Dayton Ohio. As I went to check out, I found that there was only one cashier open and had 4 customers waiting. There were two additional employees up front. One in which kept walking back and forth from the service area and another just standing there. An additional lane had a cashier sitting in a chair, attending to a customer. The cashier that was opened was handling large purchases, layaways and answering the phone. As the other cashier completed attending to the customer she was assisting she came and stood in the service area with the other employees. I had to wait in line approximately 40 minutes. While waiting I called the store to speak to the manager to see if I could get assistance. She said she would look into it. It was not until several other customers came behind me when I heard the call come through the service area. As the cashier was checking me out I could hear the cashier that was previously attending the other register. She was loud disrespectful and cursing, indicating that she was working on a refund. As a customer, first of all no one should have to wait in line for that length of time when you have other employees, who could assist. I also feel no customer should have to subject themselves to disrespectfulness from an employee, when they have not been addressed in that manner. I never once said anything to that employee at all. I only called the store manager and voiced my complaint.
I've shopped in the store and have experienced similar service, but never had an employee to get loud and start cursing in front of other customers and I feel it's inappropriate and very unprofessional.
I wish I had thought to video my experience. Now that I know that you have that option on this page, if I face similar experiences of this nature in the future, I will assure you that I will.
