Tim Hortons - Service

I purchased 2 medium vanilla iced coffees with 1 sugar, 1 cream for my friend and myself on the way to a basketball game at 4:30 pm on 1/19/23 at the 1621 E. Main St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 Tim Hortons. We did not try the drinks until 1 hour into our drive because we were eating and had water. Once we tried our drinks, I felt a burning in my throat and the worst taste of a drink I have ever experienced; my friend had a terrible taste also and it made her tongue tingly. The game we were driving to was 1.5 hours away, we sat through 2 basketball games and returned home after 10pm. I went to the Tim Hortons that I purchased the drinks at the next morning on my way to work to at 9 am. Silly me, I had left the drinks in my car overnight and took them into the store with me to show that we weren't able to drink them because of the putrid taste and burn. I was immediately scolded by the "Supervisor", Kyle Call for not calling the night before and I was told that there is nothing they can do, that I should have called, and they would have written my name on a re-make list. I explained that I did not have service where I was which made me unable to call. He grew increasingly and inappropriately angry that I brought the drinks into the store, loudly stating "I don't even know what that drink is, I'm not going to taste it to see what's wrong with it" and scolding me once again for bringing the drinks into the store. He then went on to tell me that they have new pumps for the vanilla and that they used to only pump a small amount, and the new pumps pump out a much larger amount. He said if the employee puts too much vanilla in a drink, it gives a "chemical" taste. (I can confirm this by the burning in my throat) So by his rambling, he admitted that staff made my drink wrong. He then pumped some vanilla syrup in a cup and shoved it in my face and told me to smell it. Kyle Call was angry, aggressive, loud and very inappropriate. I remained calm the entire conversation and my intent was only to make sure that there wasn't a mistake by chance when making the drinks, because of the strong chemical taste and burn, and I simply wanted a new drink. I never even had the chance to voice my concerns because Kyle Call the "Supervisor" became aggressive and didn't allow me to voice my concerns. I asked another employee if there was a manager in the store and Kyle Call proceeded to loudly state that no one there was going to be able to help me about drinks that I bought the day before. He then said, "I am the Supervisor", I calmly replied that I too am a supervisor at my job (I am a Registered Nurse on a Maternity unit, and I am the Supervisor on my unit) and that I would never speak to someone so rudely like he was. Another employee then told me that the General Manager is Melissa and that she would be in tomorrow, 1/21/23, I stated that I would give her a call tomorrow, went to walk out of the store and the "Supervisor" yelled across the store very loudly "my name is Kyle Call". Thank you, sir, a name to put with the erratic behavior over a very simple issue. I have never been treated so badly; I normally would have just pitched the drinks and chalked it up to new employees, but my true concern was it tasted like a cleaner or chemical was mistakenly used instead of vanilla syrup. I buy an iced coffee from Tim Hortons usually three times a week, I buy gift cards from Tim Hortons as gifts, I purchase Tim Bits for my staff as a treat, and because of this aggressive interaction, I will never step foot in a Tim Hortons again. His rambling, loudmouth admitted that the coffee tasted bad and burnt my throat because of employee error of adding too much vanilla syrup and did not consider that as supervisor he should stand behind the stores customer service promise and just replace the drink. I didn't even want both of the drinks replaced, I only wanted one. It is sad that my morning started out with such an interaction that ended with me crying in my car from the sheer rudeness and aggression of a Tim Hortons supervisor.

Desired outcome: I would love a call from the general manager of the store. I would like Kyle Call to be reprimanded, demoted from "supervisor" and possibly drug tested because his actions were not a normal response.
