I arrived at the Sonic on Secor Road (#6256) in Toledo, Ohio at 8:30am this morning 6/16/2022. There was one vehicle at the place at this time and they were ahead of me placing their order when I pulled ip to the drive thru. I sat behind this person ahead of me for 5 minutes before pulling up to place my order. I then had to wait another few minutes before I could place my order for two orders of poppers for $11.98. Simple enough, yeah? I was told that the poppers “just went down” a couple minutes before I ordered so it would be a few minutes. Okay, cool. I waited, got my poppers a few minutes later and left. I was there for a total of 15 minutes from the time I pulled up to the drive thru to the time I left the order window with my food. As I pulled out and was at the red light, I reached into the bag to help myself to a popper only to find that they were cold to the touch and when I bit into one they were uncooked in the middle. I could not go back as I would have been late for work. This is unacceptable. I don’t mind waiting as I am an understanding individual and recognize that food takes time to prepare, but aside from the person ahead of me being the only other customer there seems unusually long. I am quite dissatisfied and literally disgusted with this experience of eating uncooked food however - can’t let that one go.. I will say that the individual who took my order was kind. I would like a refund for sure.
Desired outcome: Refund for $11.98.
