9:33am 7/21/2023. Walked in to make an appt. HEATHER, this lady was concretely rude and unprofessional. I understand you all are busy. I asked her how much was the donation fees. She said 700$ month. I then asked how much each donation and her response was..."calm down, you seem anxious' and laughed. You really need that lady away from the public. Totally unnecessary. I will not be back!

BioLife Plasma Services - Donating blood.
I went on July 5, 2023 as a first-time donor. After all the testing and preliminaries, I was seen by a male nurse. He told me that I would not qualify due to the fact that I had bronchitis more than once in my life. My blood was tested and approved. I had good veins and also have a rare blood type that is in need. I have not had any lung problems for the past four years. I would like another chance to become a candidate for blood or plasma donation. I would like to know the reason for this.
Thank you.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate an explanation so I can better understand their reasoning.
I shared additional information, as requested. I have been active in my correspondence with you. Please take this matter seriously.

BioLife Plasma Services - Employees
Half of the employees I've encountered here have been argumentative have had attitudes, treating me very rudely. Especially when considering the veins I was willing to let them draw from as I use these veins every time I donate and was not comfortable with them trying a new vein. Also the woman who did my physical, there's a name for her attitude and it starts with the letter B
Desired outcome: Have been going through a professional attitude training program each individually
BioLife Plasma Services - donating
I went to my newly opened facility and waited for over 2 and a half hours to finally get seated with the nursing staff for assessment only to be told that since I have been diagnosed with no-polar disorder that I would be unable to donate today and that they would have to contact my psych Dr first to get his approval and then after they receive his approval their physician would have to approve me before they would call to notify me if I am able to complete my physical and then be able to donate another time. This is after it took over a week and a half to be able to obtain a first appointment in the first place to now be told it may take another 2 weeks before I'm able to finish the process to donate. Mind you I am not on any meds and rely on daily cognitive behavior therapy to manage my bi polar symptoms. I believe this is total discrimination. When I asked what was the reason I for them refusing to allow me to donate just because of a mental disability nothing that may be passed thru my plasma or blood they told me that the Dr would have to verify that I am mentally capable of making the decision to donate. What kind of bs is that? I sure hope I'm mentally capable of making a decision to donate plasma being that I'm mentally capable of raising my 3 children, driving a car paying my bills etc.
