On May 30, Monday morning we placed an online/app. order to be picked up on that afternoon. A couple hours later it showed that they started "picking" the order, and then we were notified that it was ready for pickup. But then no receipt was emailed this time for us to check our order (It was emailed to us the next morning). We arrived to picked up our order and checked in with the Albertsons app, after waiting around fifteen minutes and nobody coming out. We then called the store, and he said he hadn't heard the beep, so we wait again. Now we spent more time waiting than if we went in and just bought the items, not to mention that we put the order in six hours previous to this.
Now we check the receipt with the bag and they charged us for a container of ice cream that was supposed to be free with their points. This has happened to us over and over with their coupon and point system. We go straight to customer service with the ice cream. I asked the employee "Sam" if she was freed up with the other person, she looked straight at me, ignoring me and looked at the ice cream. We then showed her that we were charged, and that our points were taken also. She talked over me every time I tried to say some thing, she never once smiled and ignored every thing we said. She kept talking over me saying about waiting an hour before shopping when using their slow system. I told her again that its and app. order that was placed this morning, and we did wait. She ignored us, refunded the amount and turned away.
This woman "Sam" in Customer Service is the rudest employee I have had the displeaure of speaking to in many years. Their is no excuse for your company to employ people of her character and lack of professionalism. I don't know if she had a bad day or if she has some thing against my Asian wife, but I will not continue to shop in a store who treats customers in this manner. I have shopped in your store for twelve years always having an excellent experience before this, but this is a small town where I would assume you don't want "Sam" damaging your reputation. I hope we can come to an agreement on this, because honestly, I am so upset with her that every person I know is going to hear it. Anybody with half-a-brain can figure out that when a digital coupon is clipped, and an hour after that the order is placed, and then... several hours later they start the order. We obviously waited long enough, do you want us to come back next week? She did not pass the most basic "thinking" part of the job requirement. But there is "Never" an excuse for how she treated us, so why would you allow an employee to act in this manner to any customer?
Desired outcome: Employee Discipline, Training, and Apology.
