Dear Complaint Department,
I am writing this letter to you to inform you of an issue with your bakery department at the location noted above. On 5/18/23 I purchased a cake for a birthday party that was supposed to have 3 tiers and be a theme of Hello Kitty.
Upon pick-up and inspection of the cake on 6/17/23, before leaving I talked to an associate in the bakery department about the quality of the cake design and why it did not have three tiers total and why the cake looked very sloppy. I was told that that is the best they could do, and they were sorry they only make the cake two tiers. I then asked for a refund of at 99.00. Which is the cost of one of the tiers. The associate said they could not do that, and my only option was to file a complaint and they gave me a phone number.
I then looked online for an email do file this complaint that way there would be record on file.
I am seeking a refund for at least $99.00 to me, due to services not provided that were paid for. I believe more should be refunded due to the quality and holes in the icing of the cake. I have provided pictures of the cake and receipt of purchase.
