I went to New Stanton Pa Sheetz like I always do with a coworker at lunch. Almost everytime there I have bought products that needed proper ID in order to buy. This time though, a new employee that doesn’t know how to do their job (Rae) refused to sell to me, saying my ID wasn’t up to their standards, when there is nothing wrong with my I’d. So I wanted to talk to a manager (Nathanael) hoping he would realize that my ID was valid and he also refused service, while giving me attitude. This isn’t the first problem I’ve experienced with (Nathanael) while a previous experience he made me wait a very long time for my food while the whole time it was sitting there getting cold. So when given the food finally I wanted it done again cause it was cold and he refused service there as well. I would like something done about this and there are more complaints from others coming about Nathanael.
Desired outcome: Nathanael get demoted from manager because he doesn’t represent himself with those responsibilities well. Rae get evaluated to see if she actually knows what she’s doing .

Soooo... As the comments complain about sheetz goes on here is our lovely experience with this horrible stop... We travel alot and go to many sheetz throughout westmoreland county.. Since I was a kid ive enjoyed getting sheetz made to order food and typically I do have a pleasant experience when I stop in. However in new stanton pa that will not be the case. They employees are completely unprofessional and disrespectful. The food is well below standards, and the customer service is horribe thats being nice. I could tell you story after story about this joke of establishment but most recent tops it by far and I will never go there again.
Okay so sometimes im not dressed up and put together 100% when I stop in (I mean its f*ing sheetz, a gas station) anyways even though on a wkly basis I have spent hundreds at this establishment they have literally treated me like a thief who robs them blind any chance myself or boyfriend get. They watch us every move we make throughout the store like we are just stashing down our pants its really annoying and honestly quiet frankly a turn off for the company. I have never stolen from this store but they treat me like thats all I do. I spend 50+ everytime I go in and they forget that I suppose. Ontop of that the food gets worse everytime I order.
This last time I placed my order online. And put a note in that I wanted my dressings for hoagie and burger on the side. Mind you I requested this first hand, the proceeded to not do it. Of course. So my boyfriend called in and simply requested and I quote "to please remake the items and we would bring the current ones back and trade." the clerk was ironically stumbled by the request proceeded to talk to the manager/shift leader while we were still on phone and talked not so pleasantly about the request as if we were asking for something unheard of, then the shift leader proceeded to get on the phone and tell us she was looking on order and that we did not request such a thing, my boyfriend then proceeded to say once again "idk if it didnt go through or if they just didnt read it". Taking responsiblity for there mistake still and she then proceeded to say and I quote "I mean the only thing we can do is remake the items and you can bring that back to us but make sure you bring those items back." so basically insinuating that we were trying to get them to let us keep something we didnt want in the first place or trying to get something for frree. When we just simply wanted the food to be made properly. When he went to make the switch they proceeded to stare him down clueless as ever like none of them knew what he was talking about even though we literally just called 5 mins beforehand. Then the cashier proceeds to tell my boyfrined that this is what he does and theres no way to make that request on the app. Which I know that I requested it online so clearly hes an impossible and for it being what he does he doesnt know very much.
Also my credit card doesnt swipe but I have id and all documentation to prove that it is mine and we have to manually type it in to use it and they acted like I was retarded for asking such a thing and that I was stealing yet again even though I can prove in every aspect that the card is mine.
This establishment really needs help. Management needs to swoop in and handle the employees train them and make sure they follow rules and regulations as well as not disrespect the customers. Corporate needs to go in and see this place is sad sad sad. I will never stop here again honestly might of turned me against sheetz in general. Im disgusted disappointed and humiliated over this establishment the employees behaviors.
Need I not mention about the clerk behind the counter one day watching me like I was stealing so I asked her what exactly she was watching or needed (finally had it) with the way they treated me there mixed with a bad day and she proceeded to act like a toddler and repeated or mocked everything I said to which I told her to please grow up and do her job and she proceeded to call security for her actions! She literally tried bating me to fight with her but I didnt feed into her childishness. Whatever happened to respecting your customers customer is always right?! Not anymore atleast at this joke.
