Huddle House

On 4/2/24 at 4:20pm My husband and I went to the HH in Cleveland Tn. When we pulled into the parking lot my husband said look at the sign in the window is that the Cheeseburger Combo you want it $5.99 I said yes. We went inside the blonde hair server the only server working appeared to have an attitude right from the start. I asked for the $5.99 menu. I noticed that the menu said Cheeseburber combo $6.99 I show my husband and said there is a price diiscrimination. The server came to the table and she was asked why the difference she said she didn't know but that it was going to ring up $6.99 she is just the server so my husband asked for the manager and she said we don't have on right now. Well I went ahead and ordered the $6.99 Cheeseburger combo. My husband ordered the French toast combo. I thought everything was fine. I noticed the server talking to the cook and pointing at the sign in the window and the menu. Moving on... I noticed my combo sitting up in the hot box to be brought to me. We waited and waited I finally said to my husband my food is sitting up there and has been sitting up there getting cold. He told the server and she said she can't bring it to us because the whole order isn't ready. So my husband got up from the table walked up there and picked it up for me. My order was the only one up there. The cook got all mouthy and said do we have an issue here? By health law you can not touch the food up there and the server can't bring it to you until I tell her to. Then he went on to said I don't appreciate you giving my server a hard time over the price for the combo and it is not price discrimination. I told him no issue here I just did not want cold food. He said its not going to get cold because we have a hot box. Well guess what my food was cold and when my husbands finally got put up and brought to the table the eggs and french toast was cold but the sausage was hot. It was not a good experience at all and the only person who has an issue were those TWO from start.
