WARNING, WARNING, BUYERS BE WARE OF ROOMS TO GO! I don't normally do this, but I have to speak on this. Rooms to Go is by far the worst furniture company that I have ever dealt with. I will never ever ever ever do business with this company again or recommend their business to anyone. I have done business with different furniture companies to include Ashley's, American Signature, Haverty's, and Furniture Wholesale Plus. All of these companies were very professional, courteous, and very careful when delivering items. They actually valued their customers. I had a very minor issue with a scratch on the footboard of a bed from American Signature, but they quickly rectified the problem within a matter of 24 hours. Rooms to Go on the other hand is a different story. I have had nothing but problems with Rooms To Go. Once they have your money nothing else matters to them, the professionalism and customer service goes completely out of the window. I had a dining room set delivered from Rooms To Go and one of the chairs had a stain of some sort on it and another chair had a defect in the thread of the chair. Brand new furniture, yet I had to wait a week for those issues to be rectified. I also had a table and love seat delivered from Rooms to Go. The table and love seat clear had to come off the floor because the table had scratches on the edges and the sofa was squeaking on one side when you sat down on it. The delivery guy even shook his head and said, "It looks like they tried to sneak one in on you and give you the store floor model." So I had to wait well over a week to have those items exchanged out for actual new furniture. Then on a separate delivery date, Rooms To Go delivered a sofa set to my house. The delivery personnel not only scuffed and scratched up my freshly painted walls in the hallway and stairwell, but they also put two holes in my wall due to their negligence. Paint transfer all of the sofa and the headrest in one of the sofas was not even functioning properly. Initially the delivery employees even tried to hide the holes and leave until it was brought to their attention and a call to their supervisor was demanded. Every time I talk to customer service which has been countless times, they act as if it's no big deal and it's a common occurrence. Rarely is a manager available, but the one manager I did spoke with was rude. I believe the first piece of furniture was delivered from Rooms To Go on September 27th, and it took them until October 11th to finish exchanging my furniture. As of today October 16th, I'm still waiting on them to finish processing my claim for damage to property. Then once the claim is processed they have stated that it will take an additional 14-30 business days for my check to even be processed, which is ridiculous. I could go on, but at this point I'm tired of typing. All of the to say, I would warn anybody against doing business with Rooms To Go, it's not worth the hassle. You lose time and money dealing with this company that could careless about the customer.
I don’t know how your company even continues to thrive as a business. What about a call from an actual manager from corporate or a regional manager or something. Anyone else I’ve talked to is clearing reading from a script and could careless.
I’ve already emailed you guys and spoke to you guys several times, but nothing gets done. Only thing you guys have done for me is exchange damaged furniture for less damaged furniture and I’m still waiting on my claim to clear for damage your delivery team caused to my home.
