La Quinta Inns & Suites

I checked in 1/6/22, the room we were in, the toilet leaked but we couldn't change rooms until the next day, so we had to put down all the towels in the room, the fire alarm was out of the wall, there was a big hole in the ceiling at the entry way, the light switch of the entry didn't work, something bit me in my head, and the light over the sink was out. When I went to the front desk with all my complaints, the agent seemed annoyed, wasn't listening to me at all, so she quickly gave me a key to another room to check out, lights didn't work in the room, and the toilet was running, so she gave me another room key, lights didn't work in the bathroom, the fridge didn't work, so she gave me another room to check, only thing wrong was one of the lights were out in the bathroom, asked could maintence just replace the light and I would keep that room, she said maintence doesn't work on the weekends, we decided to just stay in that room. This hotel is a dump now! I used to stay here all the time, never had these issues. Homeless people were in the lobby eating free breakfast and asking us for money. Also, a staff member informed us that the hotel had flooded last week was why it smelled moldy. The elevator kept stopping so we had to walk up stairs and I have a bad knee from surgery last year. I will NEVER EVER stay here again, and I would like a FULL REFUND please. It was not worth my hard earned money and I was very dissatisfied.

I would absolutely never recommend this hotel! I have attached photos of how nasty our room was and it smelled horribly as well. The inside of the hotel had filthy floors, wallpaper peeling off the walls, dried makeup and toothpaste on our bathroom counter, no toilet paper roll holder, burn marks on carpeting between the beds, bathroom doors would not close all the way, some kind of unknown smudge on light switch between the beds, possible large urine stain on comforter, rust around bathroom sink drain, roman shade was covered in water stains, loose outlets on lamp that couldn't even use, and extremely limited breakfast menu. However, the staff was super nice and accomodating at least. The only reason why we stayed was because we were here for a sporting tournament for my child - didn't have a choice.
