I was invited to a two hour presentation about RCI now being owned by Wyndham Vacation Ownership. As a member of RCI I was interested in the changes that were going to occur. During the presentation I was offered to buy into Wyndham Vacation Ownership but I was provided multiple misrepresentations during and at the end of my 7-8 hour sales pitch.
I have recorded all of the misinformation provided me including the changing values presented to me at the conclusion of the meeting that ended in my decision to decline the invalidated vacation ownership offer. After my decline of the offer two new credit cards were charged over $17k each and my personal credit card was charged an unauthorized amount of $9.8k.
I contacted the new credit card office (apparently Wyndham related) and cancelled the cards (even though the charges were pending) and I have observed the pending $9.8k charges pending on my personal credit card. I also replied to a Wyndham DocuSign representative (Jessica Peyton) after she sent me documents (ref #[protected]) after I had already informed the salesperson I did not want to purchase the vacation ownership due to misrepresentation.
I request that Wyndham Vacation Resorts deal with this issue immediately and make amends for the wasted time I spent on my vacation.
