This is an updated version of a previous complaint filed. Roses refused to accept a return for 2 bedspreads and a mattress cover that were still packaged in their original zippered packaging and were unused. The reason given was because of the bed bug problem in Shelbyville. I told the manager it should be posted somewhere. She said it was. As a frequent shopper, I have NEVER seen any signs. When I challenged her on this, her reply was — "Well, sometimes kids tear them off". (The cashier was referring to paper signs that they evidently would tape to the shelves). I have since gone back to the store to look for the signs but none were posted. I felt that I was not appreciated as a customer and was lied to. It would have been nice is she had gone back to look for signs, saw that there were none, and then refunded the money.
Desired outcome: Roses to contact the manager, make sure ALL customers are told at checkout that linens cannot be returned. And I still would like to return these even though it is now past 30 days.
