I work from home and the internet starting being intermittent in September 2019. I could not work because if I knew I had internet issues I would have to clock out. Everytime I would try to work after Suddenlink assure me the issue was resolved I would have to clock out. I traded equipment to see if that would resolve the issue and it did not. I sat in the Suddenlink office for hours trying to get the issue resolved only to be given a router that had not been provisioned and I still could not use my internet until that following Sunday evening or Monday morning in October. It still did not resolve the intermittent issue so i held for hours on the phone with various agents in the tech department. They would test the internet and see intermittent issues but could not resolve them. Technicians came at least 3 times and saw issues that had nothing to do with my equipment but once the cable cord, and twice they said issues outside was fixed. After the 3rd technician I decided I could no longer use the service for business and I would cancel. An agent told me he would give me 100 mbps and phone for total of $80 per month and I kept telling him no, he said would sent a level 2 tech out and would transfer me to billing to resolve the past due billing issue which was $90 something dollars and i when he transferred me no billing representative answered. Before I could pay the $90+ dollars my internet was disconnected for nonpayment on 11/2/2019. This agent assured me a level two technician would come that following Monday, which was 11/4/2019 and billing would honor an extension until the technical issue was resolved. When I tried to pay the $90+ bill I couldnt. Finally I went to the office to get the issue resolved and the agent told me she did not see no discussion regarding the arrangement that Agent told me and she said I have to pay $170+ to get my service back on or just turn in the router. I told her I dont owe that and you all had my service off since 11/1/2019. She did not try to accomodate me although I tried to pay the past bill. She was not understanding or sympathetic after sitting in that office ove 2 hour.
I need my internet service and I told you all that my internet was not working properly and if it didnt work I could not pay the bill with no money. Please help me. I will not pay for service i did not have due to no fault of my own. Your phone techs and technicians in person always found issue with my service but did not fix it.
