Engel & Völkers Americas / EVRealEstate.com - real estate

Texas AG should put some oversight on here, how is this legal? Americans are all being fleeced by these greedy, lazy, corrupt real estate agents in general.
In this case, I was appalled that they feel entitled to charge anything under the sun or try to get the 3%. Nick Ferrer should quit his job and get into an area of expertise called " get a life" dude! While you're at hold the ethics code per TREC [censored]

Engel & Völkers Americas / EVRealEstate.com - real estate

BEWARE!
I worked for Idea homes for over a year, so after selling over 27 homes in a 12 month period when it came time to pay me my commissions 1 day before 10 closings were to start Blake Houston manufactured a reason to fire me in order not to pay me. Blake Houston and Idea homes owe me approx $67, 000.00 plus interest and now they hired a scum of a realtor Nick Ferrer who enjoys 2.5% commission on each house he sells in their communities. Beware of Idea homes new communities exploding around Austin. Blake may not work there anymore, but the ladder of people who do work for Idea Homes have the same principle-Cheat others, treat them like scum, get the most you can out of innocent home buyers, build low quality homes. If I recall Ben Blanton worked for Idea Homes while Blake Houston was there. Don't fall prey to thinking these are all new employees after Blake left.

I am having to sue them in order to get paid and STILL NOT paid.

This story just does not stop with me. The agent that worked here before me, Idea homes owes $40, 000 plus. This agent said the sales agent from Lake Creek Villas property was just let go and he is owed approx $25, 000 he said and is having to file a claim with the workforce commission.

I have also been informed the money taken out of my check for taxes has not been submitted to the IRS. The list of lies goes on so if you're an Idea Home homeowner good luck on getting anything with your warranties submitted or taken care of. The scammers they got working for them - Nick Ferrer, Ben and Samantha are a pot full of lies. All they care about is to sell an Idea home to the first person of interest without telling the truth. Truth is Idea Homes is a low quality builder with low quality materials who doesn't treat home owners right. They think they are owed.

I must say, I am appalled at the hate being spewed towards Nick Ferrer. Seems as if one person decided to round up some friends to get together and slander him in such a despicable manner. My wife and I obtained Nick’s services when we relocated to the Austin area a little over two years. Nick was the utmost professional from beginning to end. Nick would meet us at the hotel and take us throughout the area to show us homes. We made several trips to the area for the purpose of house hunting. Because my wife is very picky, Nick had to show us numerous houses, used and new. Nick was extremely patient and understanding and was very efficient in negotiating a deal on a home that was barely in the framing stage when we signed the contract. My wife wanted some changes to the initial house plan and had it not been for Nick’s perseverance with the home builder, my wife would’ve never gotten the changes she wanted. Being that we were in another city 4 hours away; Nick continuously kept us updated on the progress of the house as it was being built. Nick even took the time to go to the design center to take pictures of the different granite colors to choose from, when we were not able to make the trip to Austin. My wife and I are very grateful to Nick for everything he did in order to make the process as smooth as possible. This is our 3rd home purchase and by far the best experience we’ve had. We had to do a lot of things on our own for our first home. Our second home purchase was in Canada and extremely exhausting and stressful. I would highly recommend Nick to any friend or family member in need of knowledgeable, professional, reliable and trustworthy agent. You would never convince us otherwise.

I have never posted an online review before. However, I thought that this case necessitated it. I would strongly recommend that you do not do business with this company, Engel & Volkers or Nick Ferrer. We worked with them earlier this year and it was a nightmare.

We were not able to get into our place, the agent was not available to let us in, and we were left to guess the code, only getting in many hours after arriving. When we attempted to contact multiple real estate agents for the company, they were no help and one actually hung up on us.

In addition, we were made a preliminary offer for our troubles, which was then ultimately rescinded when we returned. The whole experience with the real estate agent (Nick Ferrer) and the real estate company (Engel & Volkers) could not have been worse.

Engel & Völkers Americas / EVRealEstate.com - Real estate agent

The experience confirms why you should always hire a legal professional. A monkey (obviously) can take and pass a Texas Real Estate Exam. Nick Ferrer clearly conveys why anyone with common sense would run from the likes of him helping his clients is the last thing on his mind.Nick Ferrer is absolute and pure slime. Literal trash humans. Disheartening, during the era we have this cliche [censored] persona being propagated. Pretty disrespectful to an industry now saturated with delusional entitled millennials. Nick Ferrer should quit while he's ahead.

Some new realtors are astounded to discover how many people hate real estate agents. We're not talking about a slight dislike. This hatred is a big-time fury. With some people, their disdain for realtors is a truly deep-rooted hatred, engrained in their souls and passed down to their children's children.

Unfortunately, some of that hatred is justified. It's the bad apples in the barrel that give every other real estate agent a bad name, but there is more to it than that. Nick Ferrer with Engles and Volkers is classified as a poor quality, low class, scammer of a realtor. If you plan on working with Nick Ferrer know facts about him- Having years of experience doesn't mean you're a great real estate agent. It means you have the experience it takes to cheat people, play games, lack confidence and miscommunicate with your clients.

Nick called me a PIG! Why? From all the collective reviews looks like Nick Ferrer is the PIG. He told me he was married. When does that count these days? Someone told me he is a cheater. His wife should keep tags on his texts, calls but she has no idea. Sad!

Nick Ferrer never attempted to solve any problems! At the end, seems useless, not responsible and waste of time! What a terrible experience?!?!

Did not show up for an open house. We called the agent, Nick Ferrer, and they said "oops, we leased that house". They did not bother to go online and change the status or cancel the open house. I guess are these amateurs are not concerned about people's time. Beware!

Nick Ferrer has a crude and rude high pressure in discussing with potential dealings/clients
I do not, ever, want his calling again, and if it does the call will be recorded.

Called to inquire about a listed property and spoke to Nick Ferrer. He cut me off and told me to just go google it and I’d find out everything I needed. After trying to get some basic information, he abruptly told me he had other applications and had gotten a bunch of calls about the property, so if I was interested I could just put in an application. I’ve never even heard of a realtor treating a potential customer that rudely.
