Ordered sleeping beauty bolo necklace when all items offered were 25% off. Carefully reviewed return policy which stated no clearance items were returnable. Necklace was not listed in clearance section nor was it marked clearance.
After late delivery, was informed necklace was not returnable as ALL items during sale were considered clearance. Nothing gave notice that all items offered were clearance.
Deceptive and misleading advertising and practice.
Desired outcome: Want return for amount paid.
Shop LC / Liquidation Channel - Jade bracelet
In April 2012 I ordered two items from the Liquidation Channel with my debit card. I have never bought myself jewelry and was totally excited to receive a teardrop jade ring surrounded by peridot and a jade (tennis-like) bracelet. Within a week, the $50 ring lost a stone so I called customer service and they had me return it and I received my money in like three days. I was very disappointed. If you order an item and it breaks or is defective and there are no more in stock, they refund your money.
Now here's the part that angers me to the fullest. About 3 weeks later, the $150 jade bracelet broke as well. My elderly mother was driving into town so I asked her to stop at the post office and mail the bracelet back ( I had already packaged, addressed, and had it ready to go). My mother forgot to get a delivery confirmation and instead bought stamps and gave me the package back with some stamps. She put 5 or 6 stamps on the envelope which was more than enough postage. I live in a rural area and so when my mail carrier came by, I handed her the package and she said it was fine and had enough postage and that it would only take a few days to make it to Texas from Wisconsin where I live. That was on June 6th, 2012.
I called LC and they said there was a bracelet in stock so they would send it to me once they rec'd the broken one. Well today is June 30th and about a week ago I called to check on the status of my return. I was told that there were no more bracelets in stock which was a contradiction to what I was originally told (I was upset). Since the bracelet was no longer in stock, they said they would refund my $150 to my debit card. To date, no refund. They are sick of me calling and when I called today the customer service rep told me that because I did not mail it from the post office with a delivery confirmation, my bracelet was either stolen or lost. Now I am out $150. The man said the return department was a week behind schedule but come on, I mailed it on June 6th! It's amost July.
Needless to say, I am furious to lose out on my $150 especially since I am on disability and I purchased the jewels with my back pay money. THE LIQUIDATION CHANNEL STOLE MY MONEY! I would not recommend anyone to order from them no matter how good it looks on TV, their products are junk and fall apart after wearing only a few times.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I ordered 2 rings 11.11.2022 I called customer service 14 days later and they said they are cancelling the order and have initiated a PAYMENT (Not a refund) MEANING THEY ARE CHARGING ME AGAIN FOR 2 RINGS THEY HAVE NEVER SHIPPED. IF I WANTED TO REORDER I WOULD HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY FOR THE RINGS.
