I had the Smart Start in my truck for a year and had a few issues, but my biggest issue is when they removed the device from my truck. Now I have to jump start my truck every time I use it. This is unacceptable! I went by AutoZone and had them test the battery and they said it is fine, but the reserve capacity is very poor. This truck is only 3 years old and was bought brand new so this should not be happening. Smart Start does not want to take responsibility for the issue, and I am very upset since I never missed a payment or appointment in a year. I have been trying for over two months to get someone to call me or take care of the issue. I even went by the location yesterday which was told sorry nothing I can do get in touch with the corporate office, it is there problem not mine. Smart Start has the worst customer service department, and they are not very helpful on any issue you have with the equipment. I had to pay a 250-tow fee when I first got the equipment because was not taught how to use it, had to YouTube how it works. Then I had to pay another 50 to get it unlocked because the handheld was faulty with no reimbursement when they had to change the equipment out. VERY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE
Claimed loss: 300.00
Desired outcome: Refund my money for not honoring the customer service you stated in your film and get my truck not starting issue resolved.

Well, it has been over a month going on two with still no results of you messing my battery up with this unsafe piece of equipment you installed in my truck. I cannot believe that this is even legal to use very dangerous to use when you are driving. When you call you never get anyone that knows how to help or send you to management. This is the worst customer service I have ever spoken with in all my years. They give me a number to call back and you still get looped into the hell of holding for over 45 minutes and still speak to someone that has no clue what they are doing.
Well still no contact and it has almost been a month since my first complaint. Well, this weekend I had to buy another battery and Autozone said that the smart start is what messed up my battery in my 3-year-old truck with less than 26k miles. The battery cost me 251.00 dollars which I want replaced from you defaulted system. I think this should be told to people before you install in their new vehicle. I will find Youtube videos and start telling my story for the public can see what horrible customer service your company has, wait on the phone for hours and then they say they can't help you, leave numerous message and someone that can't help you calls back. Gives you another number to call that routes your right back to the original number. The local office said not our fault and shut the window on me. what a great way to run your company.
It has been two weeks since I posted this complaint, and no one has replied. Now my truck is getting to the point I have to jump it every time I use it. I need someone to contact me today since you cannot get anyone to answer the phone or call you back. This is very frustrating and unacceptable.
