I drive for UberEats, and I have picked up orders from many Whataburger restaurants without complaint; however, the Whataburger at 1719 E Parmer lane is an exception.
Today, I cancelled two orders from this Whataburger. The first order I cancelled was due to a very long wait. I was acknowledged almost as soon as I entered the restaurant, but there were no customers in the store and yet I waited a very long time to get my customer's order. I could see the burgers were already bagged up and the drinks were made. The order I had in my car for another customer was getting cold while I waited. The employees were ambling around and finally someone put on fries (which is what my customer's order was missing) but I could not wait any longer.
It is always like this. Customer service is never a high priority at this store. They act like they hate delivery drivers, but you need to remember that your customers are MY CUSTOMERS too, and I don't have a problem letting Uber know when I feel my customers are not getting the best service or food from the restaurants they order from.
I got a second order from Whataburger after I cancelled the first. Several employees made eye contact with me, but no one spoke to me at all. Two employees were at a dining table, and there were no other customers in the store.
My son is a chef and he and I love Whataburger food, but we will not eat at this location which is less than a mile from our home. I have had to wait over 45 minutes for a taquito. There have been times when we visited and this BRAND NEW store was filthy with no employee concerned enough to clean it up. My son has witnessed the manager screaming at and berating her employees in front of customers.
Desired outcome: New Management
