Managers Robby and Mitchell were both extremely unethical, rude, and disrespectful to myself as well as my family. They defamed my character in front of my family multiple times. We were having a lot of issues with the equipment not working properly and the others in our group were all having the same issues. When we told Robby the manager, he was denying any fault and inferring that we were lying about the issues. The sound was horrible quality and it was so glitchy that the characters legs kept flying up and contorting. Instead of an apology Robby got a very disrespectful attitude and told my son that if those technical issues were happening then it was his fault for choosing to pay attention to all the distractions and not focus on the experience. He then walked away leaving my son in an emotionally distraught state without an apology or taking any responsibility for all the issues. We purchased another set of tickets for another experience which had no issues and was a completely different experience. While we were waiting we saw another manager named Mitchell and explained how disrespectful and rude Robby was to us. Mitchell told us he would go talk to Robby and get back to us. Mitchell then came back and instead of coming back over and talking to us he just kept giving dirty stares in our direction as we were waiting. After our second experience, as we were exiting we saw Mitchell and I told him that the second experience was good and had none of the issues we had in the previous experience. Without even letting me finish talking he very abruptly raised his voice and said "I know you, you come in here every month and try to get free stuff, and its not going to work and dont come back here again, you arent getting anything for free!" This was our first and definitely last time ever going there. I tried to tell him he had me mistaken for someone else and that I had never seen or talked to any of them before today but he was saying that im lying and started degrading my character even more in front of my family. When I asked Mitchell if he has ever seen or spoken with me before he said "no I have personally never seen you before but I know its you, you come in here every month." We were shocked that they could talk to and make completely wrong accusations to paying customers like that. It was an emotionally traumatic experience for my son. How dare they talk to peoples children like that and then turn around and try to make up stories and call us liars and raise their voices at us. My attorney will officially be in touch as I have tried to contact AMC theatres corporate multiple times with no one ever available to answer the phones and no corporate email address provided. Completely unacceptable and inexcusable!
