Chrysler Capital - Title release

I have completed and paid off my loan in full. Waited for the title to be released to us but it never came. Called and was told it was mailed to the wrong address and state. Was informed they would resend to us at the correct address in 10 days but it never arrived. Called today and was told that they could no longer help us, it was up to us to get a title through a third party.

Desired outcome: I want my cleared released title

Chrysler Capital - Lease end

Sometime before 1/20/21, I went to the AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership at 13601 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL, and my brother Jorge L Touron who was the co-signer for the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee on the lease under my name, account no# 00 [protected]. The lease was about to expire so, my brother purchased the same vehicle a new contract was made in his name alone. The issue is that Chrysler Capital as of this moment shows that I am late on my 1/20/21 monthly payment. The lease agreement was ended in good standing and my Account with Chrysler was supposed to have been closed and left in good standing. I called Chrysler 3x and also chatted online and was told the payment from the dealer was received on 1/28/21 and it takes 72 business hours for Chrysler Capital to post it to the account. Well as of today, my account is still reflecting as late and not paid off nor closed. I have excellent credit and am praying that this will not show up on my credit file. If so that is false information provided by Chrysler Capital. I want my account with Chrysler closed as paid in full and satisfied immediately. Their delay is not acceptable especially when it can hurt a customer with excellent credit.

Today, I Just received another bill requesting payment and that I am past due. Ridiculous this vehicle was sold to my brother sometime in January 2021. Chrysler still shows that I lease it and that I am past due. I will be checking my credit file soon to make sure that this issue has not affected my credit file.
Please help me get this resolved my account closed in good standing satisfactory.

Regards,

Jesus Touron
[protected] wife Margarita

Desired outcome: Close the lease contract as satisfactory paid. Notify credit bureaus payments were not late.

Hello, don't bother holding your breath, thinking that Chrysler Capital is going to fix anything, I've been waiting for a little over 5 years, disputed their crap on my credit reports numerous times and it always came back that it was valid but the consumer disagrees. My vehicle was regrettably financed by Chrysler Capital in 2016 but was totaled out in a car accident in August 2016. My Progressive insurance paid the majority, I had a Ford Extended Service Plan, I had a GAP insurance plan and I had a Road Vantage plan. I began receiving past due calls & notices even though they rec'd. payment from Progressive the day after the accident. They kept saying that I still had a past due balance of $489.96, the balance they showed on my online account was not what the insurance companies were going by actually it was more. By December 2016, I gave up trying to deal with them. Now, March 2021, now I had time to deal with this after constantly seeing this on my credit report. I disputed it again and I started calling them and sending them messages on their internal messaging system when you login into your account on 3/7/2021, it might as well be 2016 again because nothing about them has changed. I called week after week to get the status of my account, it's always, oh the ticket was closed, I'll have to open another ticket and forward it to my Supervisor, believe me, you will never get a phone call from them and you will repeatedly get the same reply from the internal messaging, call our customer service center. Back in 2016 when Chrysler Capital started their crap about this past due balance, I contacted Bluebonnet Motors asking them about why this Road Vantage plan had not been canceled and the refund not paid to Chrysler Capital, they informed me that I had to drive out to the dealership to fill out and sign the cancellation forms so they could process the check for it. I did that, I quit paying attention to Chrysler Capital because I knew it was going to take at least a week for Bluebonnet to mail them a check. The same week of 3/7/2021, I contacted my salesman at Bluebonnet Motors who I've known and bought vehicles from for over 20 years and they located the Road Vantage paperwork right along with the check copy that was paid to Chrysler Capital. I don't know why but Bluebonnet did not get the check sent to Chrysler Capital until 2/7/2017 but regardless they deposited and cashed this check in February of 2017 and it is no where to be found applied/posted to my account. Chrysler Capital asked me to fax them the check documentation, I couldn't email it, it had to be faxed so Bluebonnet Motors faxed it all over to them for me, again on 3/7/2021. I have called, they even confirmed that they rec'd. the fax, as of last week, same story, I have to open another ticket and this week is over, I haven't heard anything from them, I did get my dispute results from all 3 credit bureaus, still stating that debt is valid. I disputed it again but this time I had all of my documentation proving that Chrysler Capital had been paid in full since 2/17/2016 and I also found another agency to report them to on Experian's website under the disputes help. Like you, I am going to seek legal action, I want to be reimbursed for the last 5 years of that crap on my credit reports, I found this site while I was searching for lawsuits against Chrysler Capital. Get your documentation together and file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) information system, the CFPB is an independent agency of the United States Government, you can upload your documentation and proof there and I would send it to the credit bureaus as well. My next step is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and then start talking to some Attorney's! Good Luck with yours.
