A roommate in my home works at Goodwill Industries Distribution Center in Fort Worth, TX. He says he is GIVEN very expensive computers, smartphones, notepads, tablets, ETC by I 'guess' the 'Manager' of the distribution center. I am a Sr. Technologist (software engineer & network engr). I wrote a complaint through Goodwill's Complaint webpage and though the site claimed someone would contact me, NO ONE EVER DID.
Here's what *I* have now done:
I have notified the IRS about this 'so-called' 'benefit' to warehouse employees;
I have notified the local police about what I believe is theft; since the roommate thought I was a 'crazy elderly lady' he never locked his door, in fact he left it wide open when he went to work and thus did not know I would (and did) immediately take photographs of each of the electronics he 'claimed' Goodwill gave him (I also took photos of the items' serial numbers.) Then I searched for each item on line and contacted manufacturers with the items' S/N, etc. I was quite surprised that Goodwill did not followup with ME; I might not have reported them to senior officials with the IRS had they done so. Their bad.
Desired outcome: Goodwill and their evil employee reap their karmic payback.
