On July 13, 2019 i purchased two rooms to stay at the Red Roof in New Braunfels to take my granddaughter to the waterpark. Our room was infested with all types of bugs including but not limited to spiders and ants. Ants were crawling on us in the bed. We had to leave the hotel as a result of the bugs. The customer service rep who was working the front desk advised that bugs were coming in because our room was close to the pool and we were on the 4th floor no where near a pool. She acted as if that made it ok. She never offered to put us in another room she told us it was a Florida foot leaf bug and she could come get it out. There were big bugs, spiders and ants were in the bed. We reported it to maintenance and the front desk and asked to speak to the supervisor. We were advised that the manager was out due to death in the family but would call us by Tuesday or Wednesday. We told her we wanted a full refund because we couldn't stay. She advised that they don't give refunds. I was charged a total of 284.74 because i had two rooms. I would like a full refund because we left the same night we got there because of the bug infestation issue. I asked to speak to the manager and was advised that the manager was not in due to a death in the family and would contact me. We have received no contact. The customer service was horrible and the rooms were even worse
