I had ordered something mid afternoon yesterday to be delivered last night. I am a Pizza Hut rewards member. This order should put me over to the free large pizza. However, I was suddenly cut off from ordering anything! PLUS, my order was 25 minutes late in being delivered! I was told by the manager that I would get a $15 credit, but my total bill was much larger than that! Then after it arrived, the ticket did not have a survey number on it at all. I guess they didn't want me to put in a review. I have never EVER said anything bad about Pizza Hut! But I guess there is a first time for everything. I ordered on Wed. Jan 5, 2022. My ticket number was 0028. When my order arrived, it was supposed to be contactless. In fact it says so on the ticket. The man knocked then SLAMMED the pizza box into my hand then said, "careful it's hot!" It was supposed to have been left on my front porch 25 minutes earlier. at 15 minutes late I went to the internet to the email and had clicked on Where is my order? I finally found a phone number and called the restaurant. I asked to speak to the manager. That's when he told me I had a $15 credit. But that will be impossible to use since I was blocked! Plus how can I use my saved up hut rewards? It's not my fault that the pizza was late! This was the first time I have ever EVER called with a complaint! We have called to order before though. On the ticket I had asked for some extra cheese packets. They were missing. So I called the restaurant again and another manager answered. She explained that the cheese packages were not included any more and had not been for two weeks. Yet there was no where on the site that explained this problem nor offered me the choice of buying any. But the fact that there was no code on my ticket really bothers me. It appears as if it were purposely left off. I guess they knew they were late and did not want a complaint. I was really shocked at the service, late arrival, rudeness, being BLOCKED from using the site when I had earned some free awards, and more! I almost never get angry but this was over the top! In fact almost 24 hours later from ordering, I am still angry! No apology from anyone! Just flat rudeness! I know businesses need to survive and these are hard times. The price of the pizzas has gone up significantly since the Pandemic began. I really don't appreciate being treated like someone who is not worth serving! Why was my account blocked? The hut owes me the free large pizza and the $15 credit! This is retaliation to me for their errors which was awful since the pizza arrived 25 minutes late yet they had many MANY hours notice and payment from me!
Desired outcome: Account unblocked and ability to get my $15 credit plus the free large pizza I earned and a heart-felt apology!
