We signed our lease on Monday Sept. 14. We still have not moved any of our things into the home. On Friday Sept. 18th I informed them we had found a bug infestation of some sort and that they kind of looked like bed bugs. On top of the bugs the whole house is filthy. I was also told the carpets were to be cleaned Sept. 17th before they knew about the bug problem and it was never done. The walls are black in places from dirt, there is what looks like blood splattered on the walls, the floors are sticky, the rooms are disgusting, and after we unplugged all the Glade Sent plug ins the whole house smells like urine. I voiced all my concerns through email and simply asked I be refunded my money. I am paying for a house I can not live in. I am 3 months pregnant and have a one year old. I refuse to move my family into filth and put my kids health at risk. I was told I would only be refunded if the bugs were ruled bed bugs and they completely ignored everything else we told them is was wrong. On Monday Sept. 21st I was told I would be contacted by ABC pest control and it is now Friday and I have still heard nothing. They ignored every phone call, and email we sent from Monday until Friday. Finally my husband went up there on Thursday and Veronica, the manager, completely disregarded all of our concerns. I refuse to move into a place infested with bugs, and that is filthy. I want to be completely refunded. We paid them almost $2000 for a house we can not live in. For a company that claims to value their residents they do not know how to take care of them.
