My husband passed away and I was stupid and gave you a copy of the death certificate. He died in October but had hold put on his SSN payment made in October. I called the bank for 3 weeks trying to find out how to get the hold released. They could not tell me. I finally was able to have a SSN rep call and verify that the payment was correct because it was for September and he was still alive. Social Security pays the month after the benefit is for. They also sent a letter stating that. I gave a copy to the bank and it was release only to have the hold put back on it Nov 27th. I contacted the bank and the bank manager said she would take care of it and call me back. I received no call back and the bank manager ignored me. I have another Personal Banker helping me but they told him that they needed more than a phone call. They have a letter from SSN, I don't know what else they need. It has been hard enough that my husband died of Covid but what you have done is terrible. Because of you I had to have someone pay my rent, and now all my auto payments for bills are being returned. I have never used a service where they cannot tell you anything about fixing a problem. I have used banks for over 40 years and you are the worst bank I have ever used. Your managers are rude, you can't give your customers any policy information, you have no contact to help you if you have an issue. They gave me a phone number about the hold only to be told to write an email which I did and had done before and in a statement they said they would call you back and they did not. I am not sure if I need legal representation or not, just let me know. I will never do banking with you again and I know I am just one person and it probably doesn't matter to you.
