I have had a relationship with Chase since 1981 and are questioning if it will continue. My career was as a reporter, so have taken notes that I would love to share on the phone. To keep this short, my wife and I witnessed a series of paperwork mistakes made by branch bankers in PLENTY of visits to the bank. The bottom line is that my six-year Family Trust was dissolved by their errors, not by us. The worst part was the sense of betrayal. Throughout the process, these bankers assured us the account was not going to be terminated. The last day was on Feb. 2. Imagine our mental state when we received two checks for about $66,000 on Feb. 9 without any prior notice. And, please underline this, during the weeks of Feb, 5 and Feb. 12 we got no phone calls from these bankers to explain what happened. Depending on the resolution of this, we still have about $100,000 Including $50000 with the excellent Private Client Elad Hasan. If you can find a Chase banker with Trust experience at another bank, we MIGHT stay
Claimed loss: I will leave this to your collective conscience (consider three weeks of lost interest, our time, the possible "look back" penalty and our long time relationship)
Desired outcome: All your choice
