Franklin Virginia huddle house
Wasn’t told there was a wait for food but people who started coming in after us were told it would be about 20 minutes before they put any orders in. Two egg sausage platter. An hour after ordering was told they didn’t have turkey sausage. Finally got my sausage and eggs at 10:20, at 10:28 i got the toast and hash browns along with the kids two egg breakfast. At 10:32 got the sausage gravy and biscuits ice cold that goes with the mvp meal. At 10:40got the hash browns, bacon and eggs, at 10:46 got the sausage gravy microwaved so it wasn’t ice cold and got the waffle. Waited 30 minutes for refills of tea and water. Waitress wouldn’t come back so we could get syrup for the waffle. Would be great if we had a waitress that would do her job not just sit on her behind the whole time!

Huddle House - server by the name of lisa
My husband go to this huddle house just about every weekend for breakfast and have had supper there a few times and was very enjoyable but on this particular visit on january 14, 2020 we had a very bad experience with the service and server. Her first name is lisa but have no clue of her last name. When we arrived it was not busy at all yet it took her about 15 minutes to come to our table to take our order. She is not a friendly or polite person like other serves we have had. My husband told her that he wanted his fries very soft and to just put them in the oil for 30 seconds and pull them out, she said ok and left, when she brought our order his fries were not as he had asked and he asked to have them precooked. Well where we were sitting my husband could see the fryer and watch what she was doing, she slung the other fries that were cooked wrong in the trash with an attitude, had other fries put in the fryer dropped the basket for about 1 or 2 seconds and took them out of the oil out them on a plate and set them by my husband, she left. He took a fry and bit into it and they were still frozen. When I bit into my chicken sandwich it was still raw in the middle. We called lisa over to the table so I could show her that chicken was raw and that I did not want it or anything else she really showed and attitude and said that it was cooked. This is the second time that we have had a problem with a server when we go at a time when some that we know well are not working. We were there this morning
1-26-20 around 9 am for breakfast and our server was sable, whom we also know and have dealt with with great service. Well, this lisa the attitude server was also working and was preventing sable from serving my husband and myself. Sable was going to bring my husband some more coffee that he asked for but lisa would not let sable have the coffee pot so that she could get him some coffee. I was going to say something to the owner when I found out who the lady was but then I got to watching how her and the server were sticking together like glue and figured that any complaints to the owner would not be heard.in my opinion the server needs to be held for her rudeness, and bad attitude. I would have fired her for her actions. Not all of the staff are like her and we have become friends with some of the employees and really enjoy going to breakfast there on the weekends. 3
