I went to Goodwill today in Stanton Virginia. Store number 1477 address is 1201 Greenville Ave., Staunton, VA phone number is [protected]. I went there today. Today’s date is 12/03/23. I was checked out at 1:29 PM by Jason the store manager, I had a question about a T-shirt I found and there was a couple others that where in the T-shirt section they were priced at 499. They were supposed to be 249 so I brought one up and I asked him why was this some price 499 when it was 249 because it did not have the stitching down the side of the shirt, which is what was told to me the reason you can tell between a shirt and a T-shirt, a T-shirt is a shirt that does not have the stitching down the side. When I asked him about it, he was very rude. I asked why it was price 499 when it didn’t have the stitching down the side and was supposed to be 249. He said it was not his problem and that the shirt is 499 even after I tried to show him there’s no stitching down the side of it and I told him what had been told to me about how to tell the difference between a T-shirt and a shirt he did not care. He said it’s priced as priced and just Shrugged his shoulders. He told me it’s 499. I don’t have to get it if I don’t want it so I told him I did not want it. I go to Goodwill every Sunday and at least one other day a week but I think I’m gonna have to find somewhere else to go Because the manager of this store is extremely rude to me every single time I’m in there he makes a point to be rude to me. I think the reason behind it is because I have questioned him before on something and he does not like that. what he says goes and he doesn’t care about your customers. so the customer service from you’re store manager there really is horrible. There’s a cashier there named Donna she is the absolute best customer service person I have seen in a long time she is very pleasant and I will actually wait in line for her to check me out versus anybody else.
Claimed loss: I have bought more clothes but because items are price wrong and he will not admit something being wrong you lost them sales and I lost on clothes
Desired outcome: I think this manager needs to be told what customer service is. I also think that he needs to be a maid aware that he is not always right and I think that he needs to understand how rude he truly is.
