I went in to the Williston Rd South Burlington VT location to pick up my online order. Upon grabbing it I noticed my cup was missing for my drink. I kindly went over to the man working his name is TYLER (tall gentleman, long hair, scruff on his face) I said my cup for my drink I order isn't here, he then gave me a cup. I got salsa at the salsa bar and proceeded to fill my drink cup. I went to put my salsa in the bag and noticed the cup of Queso that I order also wasn't in the bag. I took a second to look and make sure it was underneath my chips, no still not there. I waited by the check out register while Tyler cashed out another customer. After he did that he went back to making orders, I politely said excuse me sir, but my Queso isn't in the bag. Tyler said yes it is just the cup was there too with a serious attitude. I said I doubled checked and my cup certainly wasn't there. Tyler then said yeah and I don't know that you didn't steal it and asking for extra. I said excuse me I have been standing here the whole time waiting to speak with you. Tyler then said I saw you walk over there and pointed towards the door. I said I have been standing right here by the register and soda machine I have not left this area. He then said yeah give me a minute, at this time his manager who is a female walked by didn't approach me (I'm unsure of her name) she just looked at Tyler and said what is the problem? He said she didn't get her Queso or her cup and it was in the bag. She the manager then said just give her the Queso and then she walked away, closed the door to the office. Tyler threw the queso on the counter and it slid over to me. I said I want to speak to the manager. He said she's in there you will have to wait until she comes out. Once she came out I addressed the issue and said I have never been called a thief or been treated so unprofessional in my life, I also said he is trying to accuse me of stealing when I have been standing right in plain sight since the second I walked in the door, I suggest you check your cameras, I at no time walked away with the food or drink and you would be able to see that if you checked the cameras on 6.1.2022 between 1:15-1:45pm. She said I apologize for that did you get your queso? I said yes, she said ok. Like it was no big deal. I said I would like the number to the corporate office in his "Tylers" name. She went into her office for quick second and said her general manager said to go online and I could put in a complaint. That was all and she would speak with Tyler. I have never in my life been so upset about going into a Moes location, and I certainly have never been treated like that. I would hope in the future that Moes would train their employees with respect to customers and not to accuse someone of being a thief when clearly it was an employees mistake. I have been going to Moes for awhile but I will not ever be going to the Williston Rd location again, and I will be letting people know of what kind of bad customer service they can expect at that location. I just can't believe it unfathomable.
Desired outcome: Refund, Apology, Training the employees properly.
