My daughter purchased this Kendra Scott necklace for me last year as a birthday present and I started noticing the "rusting", tarnishing of the chain and back of the stone setting. It has gotten worse over the last couple weeks. I don't wear lotion around my neck or spray perfumes on it. I do not sleep in it or shower with it. It has caused my neck to itch at times as well. I don't want to make my daughter feel bad so I have not showed her what has happened to it. She paid a lot of money for this at Kendra Scott store at Bellevue Square in Bellevue, WA and I'm disappointed in how a company can charge so much for something that tarnishes in less than a year.

My kids bought me the same necklace for Christmas. It is already starting to tarnish and I’ve only worn it 3 times. I have 2 other KS necklaces and I’ve never had this happen before.
I just would like to communicate with them about my issue instead of bashing them.
Not a bash, a complaint just like the others I have read on here and elsewhere. It wasn’t your money that bought the necklace, it was my daughter’s. I will be complaining to the store but from I’ve read, that’s a lost cause.
Yes, it’s a lost cause. I’ve emailed for the same reason as I’ve had several necklaces do this and they won’t fix it because it’s past the warranty date. It’s cheap jewelry and nothing backing the cost you pay. Sadly I’m disappointed and won’t shop with them anymore after the several hundreds I’ve already spent.
