Today, 12-15-2021, I visited COSTCO in Tukwila, WA to return some online purchased items. The return cashier African-American lady name Loraine worked there since 1992 made some racist assumptions. I wanted to return the Gerson 6-piece LED Flameless Candle Set and some children's clothes that I purchased online before the Black Friday sale. The cashier Loraine asked if I removed the batteries from the candles. I told her that it didn't come with batteries and she can read the label where it shows what includes with the package. She then looked at me and said, "I don't know sh! t". I already don't like her attitude to begin with. She then scanned all my returning clothes and did not want to see my receipt. I even offered to show her my receipt because I want to make sure she return it to the right amount and the date that I had purchased them. However, she said I don't need your receipt because I can look it up. She ends up returning it to the wrong date and a 0.00 refund to my card. I had to wait for her supervisor to come out and clear the mistake she had done. Though, all items had to be manually input and returned in cash. I end up standing there in the return reception area for over an hour. All because Loraine thinks she knows what she is doing and did not listen to customer requests. I will never shop at this Costco location and I will tell everyone I know about the horrible experiences I had at this Costco location.
Desired outcome: Need to hire more professional staff
