On 11/03/22 at 1025pm I was heading to work. At 1027 pm I started to call Pizza Hut [protected]) to order food for my shift that would be starting at 11pm. When I first called it went directly to music playing. I stayed on hold a few minutes and then called back. And I kept calling back. Many times. Two of the times I called I was place on hold for 5-6 minutes. I would then hang up and keep calling. As I got closer to work I came upon the Pizza Hut and attempted to go in and ask for a manager. This was at 1050pm. The doors were locked. The business was open until 11pm. I saw a driver entering through a side door and briefly told him about my bad experience attempting to call and recall the store. He told me to drive up and that someone would talk to me thru the drive up window. I drove around. No one came to the drive up window. I sensed that the person who answered the phone and kept putting me on hold was doing so because I was not the same race as he was. I just wanted to get dinner. I have looked online for awhile to enter my complaint but that wasnt an easy task either. I never knew Pizza Huts to be racist. Until now. Awful experience.
Desired outcome: I would like to speak to the manager. If the person who was prejudice against me IS the manager then maybe have someone from corporate call me. Thanks. Ken at [protected]
