I was in the Onalaska WI branch today9/23/19 as a new donor. I was denied because I had pelvic congestion syndrome & had coils put in those veins. Now those veins are at a normal size instead of being varicose. I talked to my doctor immediately after, questioning this. His response was there are no reasons why I can't donate plasma & faxed a statement to that affect to that branch office. Now I am being told that it is FDA rules by the person who did my physical and that I have to talk to a manager in the morning. Today was my third, THIRD time at that office which is a 40 minute drive 1 way. I do not have the finances to be wasting my gas on these trips. I believe what Bio Life is doing is very beneficial for us all. I am wanting to donate to help find cures & other stuff. I also am in need of the financial assistance it would give me. I am signed up under that new incentive plan of 500$. Will this get straightened out so that I am still able to use that program when I donate? My doctor says their is no reason, the person doing my physical couldnt find any information on it when she tried. I feel the statement of the doctor that did the procedure should be sufficient evidence and statement that I am able to donate plasma.
If this still isn't sufficient enough and you still deam it necessary to deny me I would like the documentation that you are basing the denial off of please.
Thank you
