I pay a pro subscribtion for a Viewbug page and website.
Yesterday I recieved an award and was invited to write about the subject, process etc to possibly be featured on their home page.
I completed this, submitted it.
Then I got an email later alerting me to a competition. I went into my viewbug account to enter it.
I then discovered that over 20 images created by me, were missing from my page!
PLUS when I checked my viewer website I discovered the same.
Missing content and empty galleries?!
I checked my coins and rewards in the app. All my history is there and over 5000 coins, plus awards etc.
Yet on my page all the stats were wrong!
I screenshot my history today.
I'm a professional visual artist and I'm concerned that my images could be reproduced without my permission!
Some of the images removed have been in the media and exhibited in national galleries. So I have no problem with proving provenance.
But this is seriously concerning!
Plus I found forums from two and three years ago saying Viewbug is a scam site etc.
Where are my images?
Where are my stats?
Why have images even disappeared from my PhoneArt website?
I'm absolutely in shock right now.
Claimed loss: If my images have been lifted and reproduced because the site is unsecure, I will hold Viewbug responsible for the loss of income and also for any legal expenses I might incur in issuing cease and Desist orders, etc
Desired outcome: An expedient response / investigation and retrieval of my content and stats.
