This company charged me for hiring a photographer and the photographer canceled on me five days before my wedding
This company charged me for hiring a photographer and the photographer canceled on me five days before my wedding. I emailed and called and never got a returned phone call until after the wedding. I was forced to hire a new photographer. They are saying that I have to pay for the service they didnt give. They are fraud! They do not have any customer service and do not provide service except to cancel on their customers and then not supply service. I have multiple emails of me reaching out to them with no reply.
Going from what **** stated below
Going from what *** stated below. I'm a photographer with a lifetime as a professional...from being a photojournalist to commercial/editorial shooter to educator. I researched Snappr and it's the same sketchy business model as all the other sites claiming the same services for clients and promises for photographers. I stopped at the "cell phone" part of the application as that's just ripe for a hack and spam texts. As a photography educator (higher education) I have many promising students who ask about services like this. I have one suggestion: RUN.
I was scheduled for a photo shoot for my graduation. The photographer never showed up. I tried calling her and to no avail I waited an extra 30 minutes no avail and I had to leave so that I can lineup for graduation I tried to reach out to the company to get a refund and I was totally ignored I spent $380.41 this company is a scam
As a photographer that has worked with Snappr and other photography agencies, I can confidently state that Snappr is by far the worst agency to work with. They have not increased the pay rates for photographers in over 5 years and refuse to respond to any requests for when the rates will increase or how they set the rates. Secondly, they take by far the largest percentage out of any agency or manager I have worked with. They appear to be using the Uber and Doordash model (30%) of payment rather than standard photography industry practices (10-15%). They also require certain shoots be edited by Snappr to increase the amount of money they can keep. In terms of the payments, they pay on the 1st and 15th of each month. If you submit photos to snappr before the payment cut off, but their editing team havent edited the photos by the cut off, they hold payment until the next cycle, even though you have completed the work and they received the payment at time of booking. That is a form of wage theft. Additionally, they state that the photographers are independent contracts and that Snappr is only matching photographers with prospective clients. However, Snappr controls everything including the price, the timing of payments, the process of the shoots, the deliverables for the shoot, and control / eliminate the ability to be reimbursed for expenses. It is also worth noting that a large number of the business customers also share the same investor: Y Combinator. This conflict of interest is never disclosed to photographers as it appears Snappr is helping to reduce costs for Y Combinator's other investments such as DoorDash and AirBnB. The only conclusion one can make from working with Snappr is that they not only don't care about the photographers or their non business customers but that they are actively attempting to undercut photographers and the photography industry in order to increase profits for their founder and their investor Y Combinator.

Yesterday, June 19, 2022 After a representative of SNAPPR, name ***, and I had spoken, I had sent her texts to Cancel my order immediately. I no longer needed a photographer on July 24, 2022bat my Event, as I have mentioned. And yet, I find it very dishonest of her actions to continue to ignore my requests to Cancel this order. Today, June 20, 2022 She have charged my account under my *** which they have kept in my profile account, for $261.41 after I have attempted to Cancel this order by sending her several texts, emails and phone calls. I find it very dishonests of her actions to still continue to ignore me and found out that she have charge my credit card without my knowledged and authorizations of these charges she made, today June 20, 2022 I have Reported these scenarios to my Bank and made a Dispute Claim on these matters. Her company has continue to look the other way, with all my attempts to further pursue my Cancellations therefore, I have decided to never get any services from them. Please, note, that the representative has not behave as a Professional Representative of "SNAPPR.COM," along with the rests, of her associates they are all Poor Communicators, and Dishonest Demeanors. I am simply asking for my monies back.
Do not use this service!
Do not use this service! My daughter hired them for her wedding June 2022. The photographer failed to respond to texts the day of the wedding and then canceled two hours before the ceremony was to begin. Snappr failed to provide a replacement and the wedding guests had to use their phones to take the photographs. Making matters worse, Snappr is refusing to provide a refund, offering only a credit. Of course, we're not having another wedding and have no use for that credit. Snappr is unreliable and I would never take a chance on them for an important event.
Today was my graduation ceremony and he ruined my day. I scheduled to have this scam artist at my graduation venue to take pictures of me, my family, and friends. The representative at Snappr told me that I would get a call from the photographer a day or two before my graduation day to confirm my appointment and determine where he would meet me, but he never did call, and I didn't think anything of it. The appointment was originally scheduled for 12:30pm, but two days before the event, I sent an email to him through Snappr to be at my school at 1pm, which he agreed to.
The ceremony ended at 12:45pm and I immediately walked outside to look for him, but he was nowhere in sight. I logged into my Snappr account to ask about his whereabouts, then I saw a message from him that he was not allowed into the building to take pictures, so he left. He left without calling my number, without waiting, he just left. I immediately walked up to the entrance gate of the auditorium to ask security and university staff about this guy being sent away and they said no one like him showed up (There was only one entrance and exit door due to Covid precautions).
I immediately sent him several messages that my family and I were waiting and to please call me, but he never responded. I kept on sending messages to this guy to call my number but he never replied back. He just ghosted us. We waited another hour hoping he would show up or that I would get a message, but I never got another message from him.
I PAID Snappr to have the photographer take pictures of me, my family, and friends who came from out of town, and he ruined such a big day. I was disappointed as I was embarrassed. I have never met anyone so untrustworthy, so horrible in my life. DO NOT patronize this photographer, he WILL NOT show up for you. I have contacted their customer service department and no one has gotten back to me and it's been two weeks. All the positive reviews he is getting are fake. They are not true. This guy is a scam artist. I will be requesting my money back and will NEVER use Snappr again.
Bait and switch is what best describes this fraud company. We hired a photographer off their platform who was not only unhelpful and incompetent but clicked worse pictures with her DSLR than what we clicked with our smartphone! Their customer service is 100% useless! AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTS!
Absolutely do NOT use this company. They only give you 1 hour to ask for a refund. You will not receive your money back if you need to cancel the photo shoot for any reason, even if it is over 14 days from the event date. They will only issue a credit or coupon for use at a later date on their website. This is extreamly predatory, because this information is not shown during check out. I never would have booked if I knew about their scam of a refund policy. Currently going through the process of filing a claim with Paypal for my money back.Avoid at all costs. It is a headache to deal with their customer service or reach a resolution.
I paid $160 for a graduation photoshoot. Two days later I received the photos and they were of extremely poor quality. I requested a refund and kept receiving the same response. That is, these photos passed the Snappr team's standard quality of photos. I gave clear instructions via the snappr app before the photoshoot. I requested candid and casual photos. I even gave instructions in person. I requested to have photos by my school's signs and entrance way. All of which were cut off from the pictures. Some of the photos even have the photographer's equipment in the frame! So, my standards were definitely not met. I can't use any of the photos!I have had Snappr for a photoshoot in the past. That photographer did an amazing job and followed my instructions. This was clearly not the experience this time around. I was hopeful with *** as a photographer based on her portfolio photos . It wasn't until the day of the shoot that I discover she is new to Snappr. How, then, was her customer rating 5/5?! I was essential mislead. She had no prior experience with the app prior so the rating was a lie. She was nice, so I'd kindly give her a 1/5. The Snappr policy states that : "Refund requests are subject to review. Any request made 5 days after the photos are delivered to you will not be eligible for a refund." Clearly, they don't take requests seriously. The photos came out so amateur!
Used snappr services to book an Airbnb shoot
Used snappr services to book an Airbnb shoot. There was heavy rain the day of shoot so I contacted site and photographer to see if the shoot was going to be rescheduled. The photographer send a link to accept re scheduling for a few days later. The photographer came out the day he said but afterwards they try to double charge because of the rescheduling. Now the will not produce the photos they were already paid to do. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Book local photography via Yelp. I already have a new photographer and I have started a charge back through my bank. They do not provide customer service. LOOK ELSWHERE

I booked a photographer, paid a significant amount and no one showed up. It was a no call-no show situation, and their phone number for customer service is disconnected! They took my money, sent me reminder emails of the shoot and then never showed up. When I tried to contact them, I found out the number is no longer in service.

If I could give zero stars I would! The customer service is terrible and the company does absolutely nothing to protect its customers. I scheduled a photo shoot at my home paid in full up front m and the photographer left before the shoot without notice or cause. When I contacted Snappr for a refund, they sided with the photographer and refused my request. I tried to present clear evidence that the photographer was in the wrong but Snappr refused to reconsider and refused to listen to my complaints. There is absolutely no way I would ever use Snappr again and I caution anyone who may be considering it! They dont care about their customers.

We needed a photo for a charity web page as a fundraiser for homeless teens. These young people are runaways, throwaways and *** children who have no place to turn. I contacted ***, we made arrangements and the photographer canceled at the last minute,Snappr is basically stealing money "out of the mouths of babes." I have limited resources and can not afford to provide holiday food and gifts without a refund. We rely on these activities to provide soap, socks and other hygiene items that they desperately need. *** responded that she would get back to me in two hours and I haven't heard from her since. Its been over three weeks.

Most of the complaints against Snappr are from clients
Most of the complaints against Snappr are from clients. I am a professional photographer, and submitted photos to Snappr in application as a contracted photographer and received an email on 10/05 stating I'd been approved. I followed their lengthy 'onboarding' instructions, setting up payment info, linking *** Calendar, etc., and was given an appointment for a virtual interview for 10/07. I logged in to attend the interview at the appointed time and waited for 30 minutes for the interviewer to open the call. She never showed up.I reached out via email then, and again the next day. I've never heard back from anyone at Snappr, and the information I provided online has been reset. I searched further online and found out this company has a very poor reputation and refuses to offer refunds to clients for services not received. This is NOT a business I want to associate my name with and I'd like to warn others to beware.
This is a scam
This is a scam. I scheduled a birthday shoot for my babys 1st birthday. If I could give this 0 stars I would. A fake person contacted me as if they would come out to do the shoot. At the last minute I received an email from Snappr that my photographer canceled. There was no valid reason for the cancel. They then said they would attempt to find me someone else. Then they told me they found someone for a different time. I agreed to the new time. They again canceled an hour before my babys party. I was devastated. When I asked for a refund. They offered a credit. I told them I would not recommend them to anyone and I wanted my money back. I warned that I would report them to the local news station. Now Im calling my bank to report the fraudulent charge. This company is a scam. They took my money from my paypal some way. I still dont know how they got the account, because I did not use the card that they charged when I completed the booking. I believe this is a real scam going on to get money from desperate people who are trying to create beautiful family memories. PLEASE AVOID. Do not fall for it.

I had 19 family members gather for a reunion during the first week of August . We wanted a family portrait with everyone and also individual family pictures. The professional photographers in the area were already booked so my daughter looked on Snappr and found a photographer named CJ. We booked her for a Wednesday evening. She was very hard to get a hold of but finally returned text messages and eventually called me. The day of the shoot she sent a text message at 5 PM saying it appeared that bad weather would be in the area at 7 PM, the time of our session. Local radar and the picture she sent showed that was not true and I told her we wanted to go ahead with our session and I take our chances. She then called me after my text and said she was hoping the rain would cancel our session because she wasn't feeling good. So CJ lied to me about everything. I would have been much more understanding if she just would have told the truth in the first place. She said she was going to get a Covid test the next day and would let me know the results. We were going to reschedule for Friday evening. On Thursday at 3 PM I still had not heard from her so I texted her. She said had not gotten the results of her test but said she still felt bad and was canceling our photography session on Friday-Who knows if this was true or not. We were leaving the next day. Snappr Photography is a total scam. CJ the photographer is a total scam-do not use her unless you want to be disappointed. It's worth paying the extra money to get a professional photographer-book in advance. I would never use or recommend this service ever.

I had a rather negative experience with the company
I had a rather negative experience with the company. I booked my session through the phone, with the customer service agent presenting me different pricing options and praising the photographer they picked for me as their "best." The agent did not discuss what would happen in case of contingencies, like weather issues, and did not talk about any cancellation/refund options. It was my fault for not asking before giving them my credit card information. When I realized I no longer wanted to do a photoshoot, I called the company to inquire about cancellation options. I was told I could not cancel for a refund. The most I could do was to reschedule for a different time or cancel for credit with Snappr. I decided to proceed with the photoshoot because I had no foreseeable future needs to take nice pictures. And I could not really rebook for a future date because my graduation gown needed to be returned. The day before my session, the photographer contacted me to reschedule the session because of the possibility of rain. I informed him and the company that I was fine proceeding with the session because the chance of rain was low and I did not have a lot of options for rescheduling. And naturally, it did not end up raining that day when the photoshoot was supposed to take place. It was sunny and warm. Still, Snappr insisted that I reschedule for another day - a day that it was also forecast to rain. Again, the photographer was unwilling to do the session due to the weather. As Snappr tried to get me to move the session to a different week, I once again reiterated to them my time limitations. I told them multiple times I needed to return my graduation gown very soon and cannot keep delaying the shoot. I told them I would be happy to cancel altogether but that I don't have use for a credit and would prefer a refund. Still, they insisted I proceed with the session and found another photographer who would be willing to do the photoshoot that day. The second photographer was also concerned about the weather and wanted to cancel, but Snappr pressured him to do the session despite the rain. The photographer himself was alright - I don't have personal gripes with him. He did, however, rush me through the photoshoot so he could protect his lense from the rain and get out of there as soon as possible. The pictures turned out okay, but I wasn't impressed and regret spending the money. After the photographer was gone, I was packing my things and getting ready to leave when I fell down the slippery stairs (wet from the rain) at my photoshoot location. I fell really hard and severely injured my hip, for which I then sought medical help. Of course, it's not Snappr's direct fault this happened to me. But I can't help but think that if only Snappr had allowed me to keep my original appointment or let me cancel the session altogether for a refund, I would have never incurred this horrific injury. I am walking with extreme difficulty and it will take a while for me to recover. I would not use the company's services again and do not recommend that anyone else does either.
Snappr Complaints 21
AI photo service
I used the AI photo service - it was a joke. The photos are cartoonishly bad. The product I received is NOTHING like the quality advertise. I immediately felt like a sucker. I was offered new photos - they never came. Then I was offered new photos AND a partial refund. Nothing. Then, just a refund...still nothing. It's been 6 weeks. I'm not even sure this is an actual business. The process of being handed from one customer care rep to another (at this point 5 points of contact) was insult to injury. My last attempt to contact Snappr was yesterday (Gia with Ticket 1494623]). A $19 refund on a terrible product should not be this insurmountable for a legitimate company.
Claimed loss: $19
Desired outcome: $19 refund - as offered by multiple customer care reps.
Snapper
I scheduled a photoshoot for my wedding and I communicated with the photographer a week before and day before the event for confirmation and he confirmed. Few hours before my event, I get an email from snapper that the photographer can no longer come to my event. It was disastrous and a horrible experience. I asked for a full refund but they paid me half. First they were saying refund is not in their policy so I can get points for another photoshoot. Why would I rely on their service when they broke my trust and ruined my event.
Full refund
I scheduled a shoot for July 5th in Saylorville and within a few hours I got their email saying that the photographer as unavailable and they were looking for a replacement.., no way of emailing back to discuss this I had to use the chat. They have no phone number that reaches an actual person and you can’t reply to emails. I spoke with someone on the chat the next day and asked for my full refund since they were the ones who did not fulfill the transaction. They said “Vicky” was dealing with the ticket and would get back to me in 24 joust. That did not happen, I went o. The chat again and asked for the refund and a supervisor and they gave me neither and said again that they would let “Vicky” know. At this point the company has taken my money and I have had no further response from Vicky and no one else seems capable to make it right.
Very frustrated, would never recommend this company that is so poorly run and dodge refunding clients money even when the company is at fault!

Scheduled event photo shoot
On March 14th of 2023 I reached out to this company to set up a 7 hours shoot for a Quinceañera event. The schedule date and time was for April 15th 2023. At the time of me contacting this company (if you can call it a company) , Gerald was very insisting on me setting up the appointment at the spot, finally I decided to get it done and paid on full $816.41 . The day of the event came and nobody showed up, I reached out to them letting them know that nobody had come and they answer was, oh sorry would you like to get a gift card for you money that you paid” I mean WTF ! , then they said they would get me someone else and to this date I have not hear from them.. I was left out on the day of the event with no one to take pictures.. I’ve been trying to get ahold of someone to take care of this matter and is nearly impossible to be able to talk to someone. This type of companies are garbage and shouldn’t be allowed to operate.
Desired outcome: I wan a full refund of the Money that was paid. No gift card or credit, I need full refund to my card.
Getting refund
n February 2023, I received a call from a representative at Snappr who pressured me into booking a three-hour appointment for the following week. Unfortunately, bad weather was forecasted for the day of the appointment and I knew I would likely be unable to attend. Within one hour of booking, I initiated a cancellation.
The photographer called a couple of hours later and agreed to cancel the appointment. However, Snappr has refused to refund my money, citing their terms and conditions. It should be noted that the customer representative did not make me aware of these terms and conditions during the phone transaction.
Despite canceling the appointment over two months ago, Snappr has yet to refund my money.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund
Im hoping no one else goes through this
Im hoping no one else goes through this.I booked an appointment for my engagement/wedding photos in ***. We got booked with a photographer on 12/24 we paid *** for a 2 hour session. I barely had any communication with the photographer as she barely wanted to respond. She linked more of her work and J described to her what I wanted. She didnt answer me for 2 days then suddenly I received a company email on January 8th 2022 stating she is suddenly unavailable for January 15th 2022 ! Leaving me without a photographer very close to my wedding date. The email stated they will be looking for photographers in the area to fill in her place. I let them know Im not happy and this is such short notice and she could have told me she wasnt available from the beginning as she was the only photographer that popped up for the date of January 15th 2022. They later told me no photographers can be booked and I cant get a refund only a coupon with the amount of *** or I have to choose between holding a reservation for a later time. But my wedding will be over after the 15th meaning I will have no photos at all. I let them know I dont want either option just my money back and now I cant get in contact with them/they refuse to respond back. I want my full refund so that I can pay someone else for my photos.

On September, 15, 2022 I booked a photo shoot for my Airbnb on snappr. At which time, the site charged me in full the amount of $162.41. The shoot was scheduled September, 17 , 2022 at 3 PM. the photographer was a no-show. This caused me financial harm because I spent 4 hours at my property waiting for the shoot and had to delay posting my property on Airbnb.I have contacted snappr on Saturday the 17t to request a refund. They kept offering me "other" options including a reschedule when I insisted on a refund I was told " I will now refer your refund request to our Billing Resolution Specialists. I will get back to you if we require additional information; otherwise, the Billing Resolution Specialist will reach out to you within 5-7 business days. We highly appreciate your patience." I do not accept that my funds be held for a long time when they failed to provide a service on a timely manner. I'd like a full refund + interest for holding the funds without a reason
My wife and I booked a maternity photo shoot via snappr on August 1 with Violet C for date September 10, 2022, at 4 PM. It was a 2-hour all-inclusive package in WA.Our photographer declined the shoot few days before the date and we were provided a replacement photographer by snappr (***) who we did not choose and completely trusted snappr to provide us an experienced photographer. Not only editing was bad the photos were plain horrendous and clearly not professional quality. Snappr has agreed in emails that it doesn't meet snappr standards either. We are already in 9th month of pregnancy and that was our only chance to get the photoshoot done. We are being reasonable and only asking for a full refund even though loss of opportunity to capture the memories of our first pregnancy is invaluable. Snappr customer service has just been going back and forth and is insisting us to go on another shoot with the same photographer that we did not choose in the first place without understanding that they have lost our trust and there is no regaining it at this point. We are not practice subjects to practice photography and we need a full refund (not any snappr credits) since what we paid was not delivered.
The issue I had was I had requested a refund of $162.41 initially I was told the amount would be applied as a non-expiring coupon on my account. This never appeared so I called the company and was assured the amount would be refunded to my credit card. This never occurred and months went by with no recourse. Finally, I received a response and was told I would receive a credit. I told them that was not the case during prior conversations and was talking into circles. No credit ever appeared on my account, no service was ever offered to replace the amount lost, and no refund ever appeared. I finally filed dispute via my credit card company as there was no other recourse to take. The representative continued to contact me resending the email conversation but never offering any solution. Eventually the whole situation appeared fraudulent and a concerted effort to defraud the customer. Thankfully my credit card company is handling however, I do not wish this experience upon any other customer.
Booked an appointment for 2 hours. Photographer was 17 minutes late. Finished shooting @2:07pm after arriving at 1:17 pm. Now I can not log in to see my photos. Error message tells me that the password is incorrect. Try to reset password and I am unsuccessful. There is no one to speak to. Poor customer service. I am not happy?

On 3/24 I received confirmation for a family photo shoot for 4/2/2022 @ 10 a.m.. I paid $271.41 for 2 hours of an all-inclusive family photo shoot. On 3/25 I requested it to be changed to 11. They said they were charging me an additional $25 for the time change.. *** did make the change. However, at 12:44 a.m (after midnight), 2 days before the shoot, *** sent me a text message informing me the photographer wasn't available and wanted to reschedule for the following weekend. Not possible. 11 people involved, 3 took a day off work. I didn't see the message until 8:30 when I got up to go to work. I sent 5-6 messages trying to be accommodating & even offered to travel as far as ***. Called 2 numbers, made another ticket, all to no avail. I got NO response all day. I had to get another photographer by the end of the day before I didn't have any so I did. It wasn't until 12 a.m.(midnight) a day before the shoot, that *** replied and said she confirmed with another photographer after I made it clear in my last text how unprofessional they were and I requested a full refund. I again notified her I had to get someone else due to not responding all day to my texts. She said someone would get back to me with a decision within 5 days... that is unacceptable. This whole experience was unprofessional and highly stressful. I now see this is a continuous occurrence and ruins several memories for people's once in a lifetime events. Please stop them from doing this to others.

booked a photo shoot for August 11. Photographer told me photos would be available 8/12. Website and emails of Snappr showed promises of delivery 8/13. 8/13 no photos. Re-shoot scheduled for 8/14.Now 8/17 - still no photos.Impossible to speak to a person.Promises were made to deliver. To expedite due to re-shoot. No photos still
This service is supposed to connect photographers with clients. As a photographer they are so rude and offer zero compassion. I worked for them for a couple of months and had countless negative experiences. Their customer support and their internal support for their photographers is beyond horrible. I just want other photographers to know that if you get involved with this company they are vultures that take and take and never give any support.
I scheduled a photography shoot for my family on 9/11/22. The company, Snappr, had helped book me a photographer and confirmed the booking, time, and location of the shoot. However, I never heard anything from them when I messaged the company multiple times to confirm the shoot. My family planned around this booking and traveled to the location for the photoshoot. The photographer never showed up. I found the photographers personal contact information from their website and I texted him directly since I never heard back from Snappr. He confirmed that he was unavailable and should have never been confirmed for this shoot. He apparently also tried to contact the company and never heard anything back. This cost me not only the money that they are not refunding (haven't heard back after multiple attempts to contact) but more importantly it wasted my family's time and we missed an opportunity to have a family album in the rare time that we were all together.

In April 2022 I hired a ph photographer through a company called snapper they took my money which was $400 and they guaranteed me a booking with a professional photographer for April 24 at 4:00 PM I got a notice from the photographer saying that he doesnt know why that they had booked him that he is double booked for that day he had a wedding instead so he would have to reschedule so he rescheduled again for May 1 mind you my graduation was on May 3 so these were supposed to be graduation gifts to give out for announcements that I had graduated for University but unfortunately I never worked out for the photographer and not to mention after that the photographer got kind of weird on me and wanted me to send him pictures of the outfits that I was planning to wear so he could adjust it and it just wasnt ever going to happen this photography so I have asked the company for my money back since its already August and I had paid for these back in April and its almost been all three months and they just keep on ignoring me and pushing me off saying that can he book another photographer could they do something else besides giving me back my money and unfortunately because they liked it so long I had to proceed to go with another company because its been three months I never heard back from them and every time I try to email them they just insist that they could book another photographer but it never happened so I would like to get my money back for a service that wasnt rendered for a service that they claim that they do but they did it false advertisement

I previously prepaid $142 via my credit card and paypal to book a 1 hour photo shoot for my family. I had to cancel due to a family member getting covid.I emailed customer service and was told I had to pay an additional $20 and would receive a credit for the amount prepaid for a future booking (which I approved since it was in their terms and conditions). After this, Snappr charged my credit card $169 without my authorization. No service was provided and they refuse to respond to several chats and email attempts to resolve dispute. They do not have a phone number to contact customer service. In addition, they refuse to respond to attempts to rebook and use the credit on file for another shoot for my family.
The photographer from snappr failed to show up for the first shoot, and now the second shoot. These were pictures of an Airbnb rental. The customer service rep offered a coupon worth the $216.91 I paid. I wanted a cash refund or credit to my credit card. They've now referred me to a Billing Resolution Specialist who is to contact me in 5-7 business days.It is a disingenuous business practice to fail to show up and then not offer a refund immediately in the same manner of payment.
On 4/29/2022, I scheduled a photoshoot for 5/4/2022 at 1:00pm on the website
On 4/29/2022, I scheduled a photoshoot for 5/4/2022 at 1:00pm on the website. I didnt create account, I clicked on book now. During the processing of my order the website malfunction and did not asked me to create an account. I informed an associate through the chat function, Jam, and they told me they did not see my order. So, I thought my order was lost in the system. So, I told Jam, I will submit another request because Im on a tight deadline and assume that the first booking would be refunded once I got a new order into the system. That didnt happen. I later found out that the two bookings went under another customers name when I saw the dashboard on Snappr. I wasnt sure how I got to that page or how it was booked under another customers name. I tried to explain the situation to *** and she didnt try to investigate but relentlessly went directly off a script. She started to call me by the other customers name and was sharing the conversation with the them as well, which had sensitive data in the emails such as my personal email. Then she proceeded to say she cant refund the two photo shoots because they needed to be canceled before 24 hours of the shoot, which I contacted them well in advanced before the deadline. Next, *** said she will give the other customer credits of $324.82. She continued to call me by the wrong name. I tried getting them to call me so they can give them full details of the incident, which they did not do. Snappr stole $324.82 from me and gave it to another customer and now has my credit card information stored under another customers name. I missed my deadline to shoot pictures for my rental listing and had money stolen from me by Snappr.

Paid $162.41 (plus $40 tip) for 1 hrs photo session. *** showed up, took pictures of family for about an hour. Pictures were to have been made available to us within 48 hours. After almost 5 days, there are no pictures and the photographer has ghosted us.
Hired a photographer from Snappr for a Father's Day family reunion shoot on 6/19/2022 at 10am and the night before the photographer told us to meet at a park. We all went and he was not there. I've tried to reach out to Snappr multiple times with no response to get a refund since no photoshoot happened. This was the first time in 8 years since we were all together and I clearly expressed multiple times how important this photoshoot was. It's disappointing that a company as large as this can't provide customer service. Do not use their services. I learned my lesson the hard way - never again!
I booked a photo shoot on their website and immediately tried to cancel the shoot afterwards and their customer service refused to help me and continue to give me th erun-around. When I confirmed the booking it did not clearly state anywhere that once I booked if I wanted to cancel I would not be issued a refund and that they would have to convert it to credits or they would put an indefinite hold on my account. Again I attempted several times to cancel immediately after booking the appt. online. I have been trying to reach out multiple times to get a refund and they refuse to give me one even though I they have provided me with zero services.
I purchased this company's services because I needed a photographer for a brief amount of time, three or four days before their photographer canceled. I rebooked another photographer at their suggestion and their photographer was suppose to contact at least 24 hours before the photoshoot. I never received a call, text, or an email from their photographer and I contacted the business to let them know. This business couldn't even locate the photographer so at that point I told them to cancel and refund my money because I had to find someone else last minute. This company refused and told me they would give me a credit and I explained to them I don't need a credit because this is an one time need and I would never do business again with them. The day of the shoot their photographer contacted me at the last second and told me he was doing a shoot but he could still stop by. I told him no that I had to find someone else. I again contacted the company requesting a refund and they told me know I canceled the day of the photoshoot which was false and they wouldn't provide me a refund.
i contacted Snappr regarding a food photography shoot
i contacted Snappr regarding a food photography shoot. I emailed *** and we talked in length regarding what I was looking for. I am a photographer myself and have also taken pictures of our food but I wanted high quality photos with different angles so that I could use for print and social media. I was told that I would receive unlimited photos in 2 hours for $265. Instead what I received were *** photos with no WOW factor. I could have taken similar photos myself. I also did not receive the multiple images that I paid for. In addition, there are several photos that are missing. I would have contacted GrubHub to take a free photo shoot to just receive what I had received.. I did that as well and they did take photos also. However, I cant use those photos for my own personal use. I specifically told Cydnee and the photographer that I wanted multiple pictures of the items so that I could use them for a variety of different campaigns. I am now back where I started. I have included an example. I received the Weeyums Philly Style -7 photo. This is the only version of this salad that I received. I watched her take multiple photos and I am expecting different angles lighting etc. I have attached desired photo angles that are more exciting and appealing to the eye. I am paying for pictures. I was not paying for 1 shot of each which is why I only had a few items. I kept reminding her that this was not a Door dash shoot where you only receive 1 picture per item and I had paid for multiple photos. However, I only received 1 *** photo per item. She was also finished in 1 hour and 15 minutes and I paid for 2 but thought that she got everything quickly.

October 30 - Immediate follow-up from Snappr.com booking led to unfulfilled service
October 30- After visiting Snappr.com and filling out a form to book a photographer, I was promptly contacted by a photoshoot logistics specialist. Despite providing contact details and pressuring me to book a photo shoot, resulting in my payment of $261.45 for a 2-hour session scheduled for November 26, at 3:00 PM, the service was not rendered. The photographer neither communicated nor showed up on the agreed date. The following day, I reached out for a refund and was directed to customer service. After completing a survey about the incident, a customer service specialist promised to escalate my refund request but only offered Snappr credits, which I perceived as fraudulent based on reviews. To date, I've received no update from the billing resolution team. Snappr's failure to provide the agreed-upon services without any communication or attempt to rectify the situation is a breach of our contract. I am seeking a full refund of $261.45.

Booked a wedding photoshoot for October 21, but the photographer was unavailable
On October 19th, I booked a 3-hour wedding photoshoot for Thursday, October 21, at 1:30 p.m. on Snappr's website and paid $346.45. The following day, I reached out to the photographer via Snappr's chat, and he informed me he was not available, despite being listed as such on the booking system. His message was apologetic and urged me to contact Snappr for an alternative. I then spoke with Snappr's Photoshoot Logistics Team, who were unable to provide another experienced wedding photographer for the same date. Customer service, including a representative named Eujohn, also failed to offer any solutions. Despite available photographers for the specified time, no alternatives were presented, leading me to request a refund due to the unfulfilled service. The lack of resolution and refund has led me to believe Snappr's service is unreliable, causing me to cancel all related plans.

I booked a photo session via Snappr for a team member with a photographer in a certain city
I booked a photo session for a team member on May 18, 2022, via Snappr with a photographer in an undisclosed location. I messaged her to confirm she could provide a grey background as requested, but she replied she couldn't and canceled the shoot. We rescheduled with a different photographer for May 17, 2022. Surprisingly, I was billed for both dates, despite the May 18 shoot being canceled. Upon contacting customer service, I received a response from the support team, stating I was charged for two bookings and the canceled shoot was on hold for rescheduling. I had already expressed my desire for a refund, not a reschedule. Despite multiple emails, I've received no resolution from the support team or the company's management. I'm disappointed with the communication from both the photographer and the platform and have no plans to use this service again.

Saturday, June 18 - I used the Snappr app to book a photographer
Saturday, June 18 - I used the Snappr app to book a photographer. The photographer came, took pictures and informed me he would be uploading the images that night so I should have my photos in 48 hours. I paid a total of $329.I did not receive my photos in 48 hours. I inquired with the photographer via the chat platform in the Snappr app, he confirmed that he uploaded the images the night of the photo shoot. I was able to speak with a sales rep that assured me that they opened an issue ticket and that I would be hearing back from someone in the next day or two.Monday June 27 I received an email from a rep claiming that the photos had not been uploaded and they would look into it. I responded that the photographer had confirmed the upload of the images, and offered that there must be a glitch in the system on their end. The rep responded that they had followed up with the design team and I would get an update in 24 hours.Wednesday, June 29, I had not heard back from anyone so I sent another email requesting my pictures and a partial refund.Friday, July 1, I received a response from the rep saying I am so sorry for the delay in this shoot, rest assured that I have now followed up with our editing team and I have requested to have the photos be released as soon as possible. Indicating that the photos HAD in fact been uploaded, simply not processed. It was at this time I requested a full refund. The rep informed me that the Design team was now working with the photos and she would need to consult with their Billing Resolution Specialist in regards to my refund. Monday, July 11, I received a message from *** S from Snappr Billing Resolution Team that I was requesting a refund because of the late upload of my images, (which was NOT true) and that they would only be able to refund the admin fee or the cut Snappr was supposed to take from the shoot which is a total of $112.05.

I scheduled a shoot for Thursday, December 16 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Monday, December 13 at 5:20 pm
I scheduled a shoot for Thursday, December 16 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Monday, December 13 at 5:20 pm. They debited my account on Tuesday, December 14. I reached out to the photographer on Tuesday, December 14 at 6:55 pm to confirm the photo shoot for December 16. He replied that he is not available that day and that he does not know why the booking went through. He already notified Snappr of this issue and they were attempting to find a new photographer. On Wednesday, December 15 at 3:08 pm I still had not heard back from Snappr so I tried to call them but no one answered. So then I messaged them letting them know that the photo shoot was less than a day away. I had no choice but to book another photographer. I did not have the option of changing the photo shoot day. Although Snappr has a no refund policy, they MUST refund me as they never provided the service paid for to no fault of my own. This was their mistake!I don't appreciate not being communicated to and not receiving a refund immediately when they realized they couldn't book another photographer for my event. They finally did send me an email on Sunday, December 19 at 5:17 pm (clearly way after my event on the 16th) saying, "we regret to inform you that there are no photographers available on the same date and time of your event. We can reschedule this shoot to another date and time or we can also place the current booking on hold." My event already took place...how am I supposed to reschedule the shoot for an event that already occurred? Why would I want to place my booking on hold for their mistake? This makes no sense to me. I called them again today and left them a message letting them know that I was going to report them to the complaintsboard.com so that no one else has to go through what I am experiencing. If you provide a phone number, then answer it or at least have the decency to call back.

On July 15, 2022, I booked a photo session through Snappr to take photos of a group of people, and it was indicated in the reservation that I made that I needed photos taken of a group. The photo session was scheduled on August 2, 2022, and on the day of the session I was informed that the session had been designated an individual "portrait" session and not a team/group session. The original reservation I made was no longer available to view in my account, and appeared to have been erased when the time of the appointment was changed by one hour. I explained the situation when I met with the photographer, indicated that I would be willing to pay a small additional fee for the group session, and he indicated that it would not be a problem. The photos were taken, and then when I checked the Snappr website, only the photos of myself had been uploaded. I reached out to the photographer, who told me that to get the additional photos I would have to pay him $400 directly, in addition to the $160 I had already paid Snappr. The original session was for 60 minutes, and with the additional photos everything took no more than 90 minutes. I informed Snappr about the photographer's request and was told that they had no control over the additional photos, and that I would have to pay whatever he was asking, which eventually was lowered to $250 (over the $160 I already paid Snappr), but also that the photographer would not credit the tip I gave him on the day of the session toward that amount, and Snappr would not adjust the fee they charged me at all to account for their photographer's demands. A session that should have been less than $200 is not costing me almost $500, and Snappr is totally uninterested in making this right. Currently I have only received 1/8 of the photos that were taken that day. Snappr never sent me a booking confirmation and does not make this information available online so I do not have that to provide.

On 6/9/22, my then-fiance booked a photographer ("Photographer1") for a photo shoot at our wedding on 6/18/22, which required a deposit of $216.91.On 6/18/22 (the day of the wedding) at 8:27am,, we attempted to confirm the *** with Photographer1 through the Snappr messaging system. After numerous messages, he replied at 4:28pm (about 1.5 hr before the wedding) that "I told Snappr that I can't come because I'm sick and they should have gave you different photographer."We continued to call & email Snappr. The customer service line recommended rebooking an appointment, as few other services provide last-minute photography services, which we attempted to do (this required a deposit of $430.41, bringing the total Snappr payments to date to $647.32). We made this second payment trusting that Snappr would refund us for the failed shoot and out of desperation that we were forced into by Snappr's negligence. The second photographer (Photographer2) called us at 4:36pm, informed us that he would likely be unable to make it to the photoshoot, and that he would cancel the booking. At 7:22pm, about 45 min after the wedding, Snappr texted us to offer either a non-refundable coupon for the total amount paid or to schedule a photographer for a reshoot (the latter of which is useless, as our wedding had already taken place). Two days after the wedding, Snappr removed both shoots and all communications with Photographer1 & 2 from our dashboard; fortunately we had saved records of the messages. To summarize, Snappr accepted two deposits for services which were never provided and has refused to return them, and through their inaction has cost us a personal record of an irreplaceable moment. If this issue is not resolved to our satisfaction, we are looking into small claims court, making a federal trade commission complaint, and making our grievances public.I would like Snappr to issue an immediate refund and to contact me by phone at

I made a reservation on Saturday 2/12
I made a reservation on Saturday 2/12. On Monday 2/14, I reached out to cancel and was not allowed to cancel for a full refund. I am not interested in credits or doing any further business with this company. The Terms and Conditions state *** law shall govern the agreement. In , consumers have a "cooling off" *** of three days to cancel any services contract over $25. In addition, the *** protects consumers by allocating a three-day "cooling off" *** for rescission and full refund. Consumers do not need to provide any reason for cancellation of the contract within this window. As a matter of consumer protection, enforcing Snappr's refund policy violates public policy.Given the importance of the no-refund policy and its weight in choosing a photographer, it is a material term to the contract. This material term should have been clearly communicated to me, the consumer, prior to signing the contract. Mistake regarding this material term renders the contract term, if not the entire contract, unenforceable. As a consumer, I expected a reasonable grace *** for cancellation and full refund. I would not have done any business with the company.Snappr was deceptive. Invoicing the full cost of the shoot, and retaining it as a non-refundable deposit, was not made clear before the formation of contract. Further, the one-hour window to rescind the contract is far too small. Neither Snappr nor the photographer had enough time to detrimentally rely on my reservation while it existed (less than 2 days). Snappr wants to keep my money for a service it will never have the chance to provide. It's common knowledge that up-front payment is not preferred for photos I communicated a notice to cancel for full-refund within an amount of time (one business day) that clearly indicates ignorance of the ONE-HOUR WINDOW. Had I been made aware beforehand, I would not have proceeded with the transaction. I just want to be done with this company.

I wanted a photographer for my medical school graduation party and being that I was traveling for the party I looked into photography companies
I wanted a photographer for my medical school graduation party and being that I was traveling for the party I looked into photography companies and snappr seemed like a good choice with network of photographers, I was EXTREMELY mistaken. I booked with ease on 6/3/22 and paid via Apple Pay *** because I was nervous to use my card through the link. On Wednesday 6/8/22 at 3:26 the photographer messaged me through the snappr app that he needed to cancel the shoot because he broke his phone in *** and could not come to the shoot. TWO days before the shoot. I frantically started calling the company only to realize there is no way to call the customer service you have to open a compliant ticket and wait for emails back from an automated template. I call through the booking line since you can get through to be booked but good luck after that, I got someone the next day after calling and emailing every contact I could find on the website who assured me they would find a new photographer for the shoot and I stated I wanted a refund if they could not find one in that short notice to which they agreed. I got a call a few hours later on 6/9/22 at 12:41 (the day before the shoot) from the customer service stating that there would be a $20 change of shoot fee, which I refused to pay so they stated they would request that the photographer would waive that fee. The SECOND photographer was booked and then he sent me a message on 6/10/22 at 2:18 pm (less than 3 hours from shoot) and requested $30 for gas because of the commute to which I accepted and they charged my card. At 4:50pm (10 mins before shoot) he cancelled the shoot due to traffic. His pasted message: I apologize. I've canceled the shoot. My fault 100%, bad judgement of time. Snappr will send you a full refund I have been now trying to get my full refund of *** due to NO services rendered and cannot speak to anyone in customer service. I have requested supervisors with no response. It is now 6/13/22.

I required a professional headshot for my profession and decided to give Snappr a try
I required a professional headshot for my profession and decided to give Snappr a try. The photographs were to be taken at a local airport where my company had property that would serve as a background. The photographer was booked 4 days in advance for a thirty-minute shoot, and I paid for the shoot immediately out of my PayPal account. Snappr sent me a 3 day reminder, and a day before reminder, none of which required my action. In order to prepare for this shoot on the scheduled morning, I had our vendors prep the location. At around 730am, I noticed a missed call from a NY number that I didn't recognize, but no voicemail had been left. I didn't respond as I thought it was a scam call. As I was leaving around 915am, this same NY number called and I picked up. It was the photographer asking me if I could confirm our 10am appointment. I told him, "Yes, it's confirmed. I'll be there by 945am." He replied that he had at least a two hour commute and that since I didn't confirm with him early that day, he would have to reschedule. I was flabbergasted. The shoot was paid for and even if I didn't show, he'd would have been paid so why did he need to "confirm." I tried to salvage the day by suggesting we reschedule for that afternoon, this was not an option, only later in the week. I asked him why he didn't leave a VM, text, or message me through Snappr. He didn't have a good answer. Since I couldn't reschedule during my availability, I told him I'd cancel the appointment because he was a no-show. I immediately filed a complaint with Snappr for a refund due to no-show & lack of communication within 24hrs of the appointment. *** replied within 4hrs and provided a canned response saying she would assist with rescheduling. I replied that I chose to have my photography done elsewhere since I need someone reliable, please refund my $107.91. It's been over 72hrs with multiple emails to *** and no response. Services not rendered, Snappr photographer reneged within 24hrs.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Horrible communication and customer service. I was so disappointed to have my photographer cancel at 1 am the morning of my photo shoot on my last day of vacation. So unprofessional
Went to their website, there's no way to browse or create an account without making a booking, and there's no way to login without making a booking. Even once you login all you can do is make a booking, it is impossible to remove your account or to unsubscribe from their email list.
SCAM. Charged $20 to cancel a shoot and use the amount I paid for a future shoot due a family member getting covid. Fine, that was in the terms of service. Attempt to reschedule to use the credit? No response, and unapproved CHARGE of $169 to my PayPal. Refuse to respond to emails and chats are promptly ended. PayPal refuses to reverse the charge saying that I set up an automatic payment for Snappr. DO NOT USE!
