On 8/30/2022 I brought my car in for servicing; to include checking the rear camera which was acting erratically.
The car was still under warranty so a new one was ordered.
At the time there were supply chain issues, so that was the standard excuse every time I called to check on the status of my replacement camera.
I even stopped in from time to time and was told that when it comes in, I will get a call. I was even told at one point that I was 3rd in line for a camera.
I really need this camera. I am a senior with range of motion issues. It is hard for me to turn my head so I rely on the camera, especially backing up.
I think that 14 months is an excessive wait time for a car part.
