I ordered a bottle of vitamins and was cussed out and threatened by employee
I called vitaglo because I was charged $29.92 for vitamins I have never received. When I called a man cussed me out and then threatened me calling me a liar and saying I never placed the order. I asked to speak to his boss or corporate and again got threatened and hung up on. I called back and was again threatened. I just want my money back I was charged for something I never received and then threatened by the employee?

Inquiring about a product over the phone.
This morning (9/9/21) I called Vitago @ [protected] for my first time, and spoke with Mr. Michael about a product. He was very rude, and not kind. First, he spoke to me in a rough voice by saying speak up I have things to do. Then I said, I'm a senior why do you have to be so rude? Then, I told him I was going to hang up, and I did, but I decided to call back to get his name. I called right back to get his name hoping his mood changed. He said, what did I need? Alfa Juice 180 count cap. He responded like he never heard of this product. Then he spoke fast, and at the end he named the product saying that they are out! It's sad that any person has to experience this type of Customer Service... with All that is happening around the world today, Kindness will prevail over any harsh words to make a better day for ALL.
Desired outcome: I never got the product, because is out of stock for $11.99 180 count cap that I need two bottles. I hope he learned a lesson of life.

I called to speak to someone about a product I was interested in getting, when the guy answered, I said who am I speaking to, he said Michael, and right away it sounded like the person was mad, or not happy, bad mood, which always concerns me, and I try to deflect the situation, so we both have a good experience, and I said well hello Michael how are you today, and he said roughly, fine, and I simply said you don't sound happy, and he hung up on me. I called back someone answered and put me on hold right away, for 2+ minutes. Then Michael came on the line, I said Michael you just hung up on me, is there a reason why, and again in an angry tone said that's right and I am about to hang up on you again, if you don't apologize, I did not solicit a phycology opinion or something like that, so if you don't apologize I am going to hang up on you again. I said all I said was you did not sound happy, again in an angry tone, he said I did not solicit a phycology opinion, something like that. I said well let me speak to a manger then, he said I am the owner, were done here, and hung up on me again. So Michael if you read this and your are the owner, you should go see someone about your attitude/chip on your shoulder/anger. I did nothing to apologize for, all I said was you did not sound happy, usually that will make one think oh no I need to change my tone, cause this is a customer, I should not treat a customer this way, and they get a different tone, then we both have a better experience, and you get and keep another customer, but this way you are more likely to lose customers. I am sorry for one thing, that you are such a mean, nasty person, that whatever you are going through, you take out on your customers. That is sad. but you know what, I forgive you, and will keep you in my Prayers.

The guy who answers the phone at vitaglo is a total [censored]. He is beyond rude, condescending, arrogant, and just an overall piece of [censored]. bad treatment
They tend to send wrong products, I mean those you didn't order initially. I don't know, maybe they have contracts with post offices or something like this, but when you need to return, it will be at your own expense. They will not refund this money, be sure. Moreover, they will find a very nice excuse saying that shipping to you is not for free either. But excuse me, I don't sell anything, you knew what you were going to do before starting your business, [censored]s.

Protein powder and horrible customer service
2/13/17 Very rude costumer service, the person answering the phone hung up on me! Product came damaged and opened and they would not exchange or refund. Have ordered Natures Plus Energy Protein shake multiple times which out it arriving damaged. Was told this happens all of the time and reassured it would be safe to ingest. BEWARE AND USE ANOTHER STORE!
Shipping fee
There was nothing mentioned about shipping fees! I found VitaGlo and made and order and only after my order was placed I found out that I have to pay for shipping! It is only $10, but still, that is illegal! In my opinion that is obviously a scam. I tried to contact them many times, but received nothing except confirmation email that stated that my order was already being processed. Total scam!
Rude, offensive, Dishonest, Delusional
Placed an order and 8 days later still had never received any correspondence or merchandise. The website showed no tracking or shipping so I called to ask about the status. The owner immediately began yelling and cursing at me and told me I was not allowed to ask questions. The items had not been shipped so I asked for a refund. He hung up on me 3 times. He is completely imbalanced and accused me of threatening him when I asked for a refund. He refused to let me speak and yelled over me anytime I tried to speak. I asked to speak to someone else and he said there was no one else but refused to give me his name. He threatened to call the police on me for harassment because I had called to ask about my order. He told me I had no right to ask questions or expect my order. Several hours later my husband called to see if he could get anywhere and before he could even speak the man was already yelling and threatening to call police for harassment. He had no idea who my husband was or that he was even my husband - my husband never had a chance to tell him.
He sounds dangerous and imbalanced. I can't believe after reading all the similar reviews on here that all say he acted the same way to them, that this poor man is still on the street, much less in business! He seems like a threat to society.
I filed a complaint with the BBB and with my credit card company. I hope to recover my money and I sincerely hope he gets the help he needs soon before he harms himself or someone else.

RUDE staff DEFECTIVE products
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. They sold me defective vitamins that was growing mold and my order took 2 weeks for delivery. I called Vitaglo and spoke with Micheal who yelled at me, told me to call the manufacturer then hung up the phone on me. After calling the manufacturer who was polite and helpful I found out Vitaglo is NOT an authorized dealer of there products. I will be purchasing from Vitacost from now on.
Horrible Business Ethics
"This company is so terrible it made me laugh.
Yahoo asked me to rate this seller. So I did.
I mentioned that the site is very much not user friendly, I didn't receive a confirmation email at all and I wasn't able to log back into my account on their site. So I call the number at the top. The first time I was hung up on, but I figured it was mistake (you know, give him the benefit of the doubt) So I called back and asked how I can log into my account and where my purchase was (it has been over 2 weeks after all) So he looked me up and said my order was canceled because I gave him a bad review! Keep in mind this was minutes after the review was submitted.
I couldn't believe it!
So I told him to have a good day and I'll take my business elsewhere.
After I purchased what I needed at a more reliable website, I received mu order from Vitaglo (the canceled order) and my order from Vitacost... on the same day! So now I have double the products and on top of that I ordered a food product that expired over month BEFORE I placed my order!

Bait & Switch Scam Here's my transcript to BBB. If the seller hadnt been so MEAN, i would've simply ended years of shopping there.
"Seller confirmed 4 transactions online on 9/16/2012, yet fulfilled only 1. Seller emailed buyer stating one of the three unfulfilled orders had been cancelled; but failed to alert buyer to cancellation of the other two. Buyer contacted seller by phone. Seller stated, "THAT'S STUPID" after buyer explained all 4 orders were placed separately to expedite shipping per the online terms. Buyer stated, "i cant make a profit on shipping heavy items." Buyer asked seller 3 times why such items were offered on the website with free shipping. Seller increased speaking volume and stated twice, " ARE YOU FIGHTING WITH ME?" after my 2 queries, then hung up on buyer after the third query.
This company is outrageous in its lack of customer service skills. I emailed them to ask if I could return an unopened product and they told me no, it had been too long and may have gone bad by now. I had ordered 4 bottles of Jojoba oil (long shelf life) and only opened one and did not like it at all compare to other brands. When I told him I would not be doing any more business with them (why would I?) he went on a rant about "yea, that's real classy, lady..." etc, etc. I hung up.
After reading the above review, I remember that my order had taken forever to get here as well. I am so use to good customer service from companies like Vitacost.com, that these utter lack of business acumen is shocking.
I placed an order on 1/20/2012 and had not received it 10 days later. I called to find out where my order was and they stumbled with words, telling me it would be shipped out today and I would receive it 2 days later. On the third day, I called to find out where my order was and this is how it played out.
Me "I made a purchase on the 20th and have not received it yet."
Them " what's your order number?"
Me " 748299"
Them "it was shipped out yesterday, you will get it Friday"
Me "I called Monday and they said I would get it yesterday."
Them "hey, don't play the blame game here. You'll get it on Friday. Thanks, bye"
Unreliable Company!
I placed an order on03/31/2011, and had not received anything from the company in regards to my order being shipped. I called on 04/07/2011 to check on the status and received extremely rude customer service. They decided it was not important to inform me that they couldn't ship my order because the product was discontinued. After be very rudely explAined this he said "I don't thin they charged your credit car but I'll check and hung up on me." I wish I had read these reviews before ordering from them. They will never get my business again!
expiration date
Do Not BUY FROM THIS SELLER. The owner sent me 8 lbs. of protein powder that had an expiration date that came due 20 days after I received the product. When I called him he said the expiration date didn't really mean anything. He also said the product is good because it has not expired yet. How do you eat 8 lbs of proteoin powder in 20 days? I told him that I did not want to pay the postage to have the product sent back. He said that was my only option and hung up the phone on me. He has a ton of bad reviews on the net. Call your credit card company and dispute the charge if you are in a similar situation. There is a 6-8wk. time fram before he will be paid. How can this guy be in business...unreal.

Ridiculous
The people at vitaglo are not only incredibly rude, but I believe they are incredibly shady. Do not order from them under any circumstances. If you have questions, do not bother asking them. They hate questions. If you do not receive your order, just be prepared to take it up with your bank or credit card company because these guys will not help you. They are not worth the effort. Do yourself a favor and just avoid this company. Order from someone else. I ultimately did and was satisfied. But these guys should not be in business. They are a disgrace to humanity.
Please beware of this company! I placed an order for 6 Queen Helene products on 7/1 which I haven't received yet. I called them on the 6th & was told it would shipped Wednesday and would be sent a tracking email which I'm still waiting on.
I have called back several times and no one answers the phone. I have also sent a email inquiring about my products or a refund of my money.
My next step is to report this thieves to the BBB. I'm never been a part of an online scam, and this is blowing my mind.
Rude and no shipment
I ordered some viatmins over 6 weeks ago. When 3 weeks came and went i emailed the company. It took 2 days to respond, telling me it would be in that Wednesday or Thursday (4 days from the time of email). Nothing came in. Called Monday said they were shipping it priority and will be there Wednesday. By Thursday no shipment. Called and asked for a refund. Said they'd get back to me. They had to check to see if it had gone out yet. No one called me back. HORRIBLE service. They even hung up on me! Mike was a complete *** and didnt even want to deal with the situation.
Don't do business with them
I placed this order on 10-17 asking that it be shipped to my work address. On 10-18 I was laid-off. I called that evening and spoke to Mike to ask that the order be redirected to my home, while I still have one. He was very brusque with me and assured me it would be no problem.
The order also indicated I would recieve it within 10 days.
Today, 10-26, 8 days later, I recieved a robo-email telling me my order is being shipped--to my work address!
I called, spoke to some man, probably Mike based on his atrocious telephone manner, tried to explain the situation. He interrupted me, then hung up on me! I repeat, HE HUNG UP ON ME!
Furthermore, my credit card was charged for the order on 10-18. It is ILLEGAL to charge for merchansdise before it is shipped!
If you think I'm going to do business with a company that treats it's customers like that, you are out of your *** minds.
Cancel the order. Call UPS and have the package redirected. I am disputing the charges on my credit card and taking my business elsewhere.
And I will placing bad reveiws of your company on every internet site I can find.

I would never do business with them again and recommend nobody else do any business with them either. There are MANY other vendors online that have fantastic support and will treat like a customer should be treated. AVOID VITAGLO.com at all costs!
Issues
My story is similar to many I've read on this board about VitaGlo. Ordered four 16 oz. bottles of Barlean's Flax Oii. When the order arrived, (it was a timely delivery) it contained two 16 oz. bottles, and two 12 ounce bottles, ie. it was 8 oz. short. I called immediately and was transferred to someone (I'm assuming now it was the owner as when I called later and asked for a supervisor I got the same person and he identified himself as the owner) and was told they would ship out an 8 oz. bottle right away. That was on 7/16/10.
Called again on 8/5/10 gave them my order number and was told they were out of 8 oz. bottles but would send one as soon as they received shipment of the 8 oz bottles.
Called on 8/13/10 and was told that they had mailed it on Thursday, 8/12/10 and I should receive it by Monday or Tuesday, 8/16 or 8/17.
Called on 8/18/10 and asked for a supervisor and was told I was speaking to the owner. I began the conversation by saying - "You've been jerking me around since 7/16" and he immediately hung up on me. Called right back and began the second attempt with "You just hung up on me" to which the owner responded "Hey speak to me like a human being - I don't have time for this "jerking me around stuff..." I explained the situation and he reiterated the bottle had been mailed on 8/12/10 as he had told me before. I did get the bottle - it was a 16 oz. bottle not the 8 oz. bottle VitaaGlo had been "waiting on." So after a month of frustration I actually came out 8 oz. of flax oil ahead of what I had ordered, BUT I was left with the feeling that if I had not been all over this like a dog on a bone I may not have gotten a favorable result. Secondly, THE OWNER HUNG UP ON ME - that's just nuts - plain nuts. I'm guessing this behavior is a result of stress from too many disgruntled customers...or maybe he was born rude...but I doubt it.
So here's my "for what its worth". In general I think VitaGlo has order processing/fulfillment issues. In this instance they ran out of the 16 oz bottles and substituted two 12 oz bottles and hoped it would go unnoticed, and it almost did due to the human eye and how it functions. A better approach would have been to ship three 12 oz bottles (three 12's in place of the two 16's) right away and not try to "get by". I'm thinking VitaGlo's margins are very tight as their prices are quite low, leading to increased pressure to "get by" when fulfilling orders. By trying to "get by" with me it cost them an extra 8 oz of flax oil and $7 to mail it which is probably most if not all of their profit on this order. The entire process left me wondering if doing business with them is worth the hassle. Prices are great, customer etiquette and order fulfillment need work.
I hope the owner reads this and takes it as it was meant - constructive criticism, Not Bashing. Satisfy the customer on the front end - it will save a ton of headaches on the backend of these deals.
I'll probably order from them again because as I said the prices are very good - but if another order gets fouled up my response will be the same...nag nag nag... and it'll cost them more in the end.
vitaglo.com is cheater, they also cheated me, didn't send me ordered products and didn't answered my letters. beware don't buy anything from this store.
Lies, lies, lies... and RUDE!!
I had ordered from Vitaglo.com for about 5 years without any issues. I place an order about every 2 months, so was doing a lot of business with them. The past 3 orders I placed had issues. The one before my most recent, I ordered on a Monday morning. It typically ships out the same day and I received it by Wednesday. I received an e-mail on Friday after 5 p.m. saying there was an issue with the credit card. It was my mistake, I entered the number incorrectly. The e-mail said to call Monday to correct it. What in the world took them 5 DAYS to tell me my credit card didn't go through. They processed the order on Monday, why didn't they contact me then? Instead I have to wait an entire week.
My most recent order I placed last Monday morning. Again, usually ships that day, I get e-mail confirmation and tracking number, and I have my order on Wed. By Thursday I still hadn't received a tracking number. I called to inquire about it. I was told it was waiting on an item to get in stock (there were 5 items on the order), and that it was shipping out that day (Thursday) and I would get a tracking number via e-mail. No tracking number Thurs, no tracking number Fri. So I called on Monday to inquire again. This time I was told, by the same person who told me it was shipping Thursday, that it went out Friday. Later Monday night I finally get my tracking number via e-mail and it went out MONDAY! Why not just tell me that instead of lying about it? Sheesh! Not to mention, every other supplement company I've bought from ships what they DO have of your order to you immediately, and ships the back-ordered item(s) when they become available... and keep you informed in the meantime.
And I've called about 5 times over the past 5 years and every time the person has been rude and short with me on the phone. I never really thought much of it until I started reading what everybody else here has been writing. I've continued going back to them because of the free shipping over $50. Yes, they have good prices, but I know of a half dozen other sites that have similar prices, I just liked the free shipping. But after my past few experiences, and reading what everyone else has been going through, I'd rather pay for shipping and know I'm dealing with a company on the up and up.

Horrible customer service
Avoid rhis company because not only is there no customer service, there is no civility and the guy that answers the phone is just plain nuts. I called to find out why they placed an additional charge against my credit card. The man answering the phone went ballistic. He said they did not have the 1lb that I ordered so they sent me 2lbs and placed another charge on my card. This was without my authorization and apparently they are unable to communicate to customers when this happens. When you ask this guy why he is being so rude, he gets worse and slamsthe phone down. If you send an email to customer service, you will get no response whatsoever. This is one of the worst (and craziest) experiences I have ever had over a simple inquiry.
5/17/2013 VitaGlo continues to provide terrible customer service and does NOT deliver product. They don't return emails, they tell stories about why no delivery, and then will hang up on you. DO NOT ORDER and expect things to be delivered
Rude and poor customer service
Never received my order, so called several times to check on it. It was backordered. I was never notified. I finally, after a few weeks, said to please refund my money because it was a product I needed. The man in customer service said he would. I started to express myself nicely on the poor customer service - I said, "listen..." He interrupted and said, "I just told you I am going to refund your money, so I don't need to get yelled at." I wasn't yelling! He was short with me every time I was on the phone. Six weeks after initial order, I get an email that says my product has shipped. I checked my bank account, and I had never received the refund. Supposedly the product is on the way. I have never been treated so poorly and will never order from Vitaglo.com again. I will also warn all my friends.
