We called Vitt on a Friday at 3:30 with A/C issues, Nick came out a little after 5 pm, had the issue fixed in about 30 minutes and was super knowledgeable and professional, he explained everything to us. We are ever so thankful as it could have been a very hot evening had Nick not been able to come out so quickly. We thank Vitt for being a company that we feel we can trust, they have earned our business, and we will be sure to refer them to family and friends.

With dogs and 3 small kids it was so important to us to get it back up and running. Thanks to *** for getting here fast, working quick and being kind and professional throughout the whole process. Today a repairman from Vitt came to my home to check my AC unit. My unit is quite old; however, he was able to replace some wiring, etc., & get it going for now. I will probably have to replace it. I do appreciate the work done & the help he gave me. Not only is he a good repairman who knows his craft, but also he is a courteous & friendly person. -- I have called on this company before over the years, & once again, Vitt has not let me down with their service & personnel. I trust their integrity.
Vitt Heating and Air Conditioning came out for our annual furnace check up. They sent a reminder the day before and also called 30 minutes prior to arrival. The technician was prompt and professional and everything was checked out and completed in an hour. I would definitely recommend them. Vera F

He arrived cheerful & friendly, found & replaced a faulty switch. *** was courteous, knowledgeable, efficient & informative, helping us to decide to add an addition to our plan to replace our HVAC system. My technician was Eric ***. He was very prompt, showing up just a few minutes before the scheduled time. He and I spent about 10 minutes walking through areas of the house and discussing the issues and then he got straight to work. He was able to complete all the diagnostics and confirm that there were no issues within less than an hour after arriving. I strongly recommend both him and the company. I spoke to Karen at the front office a couple times to discuss issues and schedule the appointment. She was friendly and very helpful.

Came within an hour of speaking to the tech. On July 5th when they were still on holiday. Nick was absolutely a pleasure to deal with over the phone and here at my house while he was doing the work. Replaced capacitor, ran a test on everything in my ac system and even cleaned my unit up with the hose. Was very knowledgeable with his work, and also with talking about getting a new unit sometime in the future since my unit is 22 years old. Would definitely recommend vitt heating and cooling. And will definitely deal only with them going forward.

My experience working with *** was excellent. *** explained all options for replacing the air conditioner. He went above and beyond to answer my questions. I could not be there for the install, but my brother told me the technicians were polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. *** who works in the office, has also been very nice and efficient. He responds to any concerns or questions quickly. Everyone that I have talked with at *** has been great. Very organized and well managed company. I am so happy that I found them. Highly recommend!

Just got a call back from the office they want to send a second person out to give me an estimate for replacement. Seems parts department does one thing and the install department does another. I was never told that their was an $89 charge for someone to come out and give me an estimate. Since I wasnt told, *** made sure that I wasnt charged. At the end of the day, Im on the fence. Do I really need a Carrier AC that costs 2-3 times the price than everyone else?

Courteous. Helpful, Cheerful. What a pleasant surprise! I was scheduled same day during my available 2-hour window. The technician, *** was courteous and personable, and resolved my problem promptly. And the service call was reasonable.$89. Ive been charged nearly double that from other companies. I feel so lucky that I found ***! I will definitely use them again if I have an HVAC issue!

The company provided an estimate to do two tasks. The first was done to accomadate job scedule. When the second was scheduled, couple of weeks later, I was told that they do not do that because it required an electrician which they did not have. Then then sent an invoice for the first service for $350 for a half hour of work. Never recieved a callback when I tried to settle. Sent a payment for a service call and parts. Called to inquire about the account and never recieved a phone call back. I was appalled with the way I was treated as a customer. Will not recommend or use this contractor again.

I was apprehensive about hiring a new guy after my old guy retired, but I made the right choice going with ***. My pilot light was no longer staying lit, so I replaced the thermocouple myself. The system fired up when I turned it on, but it shut down after 1 minute. The pilot light was now the only thing working. The guy from *** came by and determined I had left the heat shield open, so a sensor shut the system down once it got too hot. He simply pressed a button on the sensor to reset it, and my boiler is now back to normal. He also performed a full safety check and determined there was no need to take any action at this time. The fee was surprisingly low. Thanks ***!

My wife and I were smelling a gas odor in our second-floor bedroom, which doesn't have any gas fixtures, and we couldn't figure out why. Vitt fit us in the day we called, and Jake spent about 4 hours testing the system, and finally tracked down a loose connection in the fuel run in our basement (enclosed in a drop ceiling) right beside a spot where a taped joint in the heating duct that runs to our bedroom had come loose, so the gas was getting sucked in to the heating duct. He stayed past quitting time to finish the job, and it's definitely solved the problem, the gas smell is gone! A different company had installed the new fuel run just last year, but we'll be using Vitt in the future, not going back to the other guys!

I had my hvac replaced on 6/15. My financing fell through and I was not informed until 350 the day of the installation, after the equipment had been delivered and installed and the labor completed. I was not given an option to do anything else. My signature was forged on the document stating that I was satisfied with the installation and that I had no complaints. I believe it was forged by the sales manager named ***, since he signed the other line on the same document. I had 11k that I could no finance with 0 APR, and was given extremely harsh terms instead. This all happened without my knowledge. The same person asked for complete payment with completely different financing terms. If financing falls through, the correct thing to do is to halt installation, discuss with the customer and find a resolution. It is NOT to allow installation to continue and to forge a signature. I find this business disgusting and predatory.

Not pleased with the service from Vitti. The technician's main concern seemed to be to sell me a "service agreement" before he even checked my unit. Next he told me the unit needed a new capacitor for $285.00, which I allowed him to install. Then he told me the unit was "" flat" on refrigerant and it would cost $2000 to refill it, or I could spend $4000 to get a whole new AC. So the $285.00 I paid for the capacitor was probably a complete waste of money since it may not be worth spending $2000 to refill an old system. An hour later, I had a technician from another company come over to give me a second opinion. In contrast to the serviceman from Vitti, this technician wore a mask and shoe coverings in my home. He did not try to sell me a service agreement. He looked over the whole system before advising me to replace any parts. He agreed the system was low on refrigerant, but estimated the cost of a refill at $1300, not $2000, since it actually was not totally "flat." Therefore, I had better information to decide whether or not to refill the old system or get a new one. I would definitely recommend the second company, not Vitti.

I contacted this company to get a price on a furnace and a/c unit because I had purchased a water heater the year before and had an excellent experience. This time it was horrible. The service technicians are not included in this review, as they were wonderful and professional. This complaint is directed at sales person and upper management/ owners. ***- sales person came out looked at equipment, emailed me a quote; I e-sign it and workers came and installed. What I failed to recognize is that they subtly/vaguely quote the price with the utility companys rebate, not knowing I was signing my rebate over to them - $850. Had I been given 2 quotes and had the option/opportunity to select which one this would have been acceptable however I was not. And had no idea I had to sign over the rebate them. It is a sly way for them to collect the money that rightfully belongs to the consumer since this program was established for consumers. I sent numerous emails and made phone calls to *** asking to have owner contact me to discuss this situation and no one ever called. After I have spent close to $8,000 with your company you would think I rate at least a return call. And when I refused to sign the rebate over them they sent me a *** for $850. Really?. How deceptive is that for the consumer? Providing the consumer with a quote with the rebate and without is the morally and ethically way if you are not trying to s*** your customers. Because I had purchased the water heater the previous year and submitted and received my rebate, I did not have any reason to think this purchase would be different. Stupid me!Buyer beware and get a quote with rebate and without! If I could used zero to rate them I would but thats not an option. Hate giving them even a one star! Ugh ?
