Voices A Platform for Voice Over Professionals

Voices.com is a platform that has garnered a rating of 4 out of 5 stars from various reviews. As a voice over professional, I understand the importance of finding the right platform to showcase your talent. Voices.com has been commended for its customer service and the quality of talent available. Many users have highlighted the ease of finding professional voice actors at reasonable prices. While some concerns have been raised about tax forms for U.S. users and membership fees, overall, Voices.com seems to provide a valuable service for voice over projects. If you are looking for a platform to connect with talented voice actors and streamline your voice over projects, Voices.com could be a suitable choice for you.

Voices Incredible Consultation with Cameron!

I'll keep this to the point as there was lot's discussed but wow! Cameron just gave me an rediculously helpful consultation! He gave me a ton of encouragment and ever more technical advice about my personal profile, the voices.com platform and much much more helpful information. Prior to the call he had prepared by listening to my demos and auditions to help give me on point feedback. Not only is this man fluent, articulate and a great to talk with but he knows his the vocies platform and the industry very well! Thanks so much my overall experience with Cameron was "above and beyond" as far as I'm concerned and my overall experience on voices.com has been excellent! Thanks very much to the entire staff and for our chat today Cameron! #youallrock

Voices Proud to be part of a great team

Voices.com gives anyone who wants to hire a voiceover artist a free platform on which to do so. At the same time, voice over artists have direct access to the people who want to hire them. I've been working with many different members of the Voices.com team over the past two years, and they've helped me build my business as a voice over artist into a successful one. They answer my questions immediately (or close to it!), they have resolved challenges in professional and respectful manners, they have recommended me to clients for work. I've been working with them on a gigantic project that has lasted for at least 6 months, and I think both the end client and I would agree to the same perception: these are good guys to work with. They not only get the job done, they get it done well, fast, and efficiently.

Voices Service is the Secret!

I tried voices.com years ago, but wasn't ready to commit to a voice over career. Even then, I remember the service being great. I was going to join your competition, but the service is what brought me back.

There's one thing that a lot of companies miss; continuity. Voices.com started out from day one with superior service; they didn't hound me with a ton of solicitous emails daily; just gave me the information I needed, and left more than one method of contact information. The service level remains the same. Top notch. And everyone I know says the same thing: great service.

Lastly, I LOVE the fact that I have one person who answers my questions: Josh. He always responds promptly, with clear, simple answers. I don't spend my money with anyone who doesn't give great service, and I am extremely impressed; from the service, to the website. I got my new equipment, and I'm about to start rocking and rolling with Voice.com!

Voices Terrific service, Terrific talent

Over the last few years our creative studio has worked with voices.com on numerous projects for voiceover narrations across videos we've produced. We have been extremely satisfied with the responsive customer service from Ian Callander & Jessica Ellyatt, who are always on-point to assist our needs. We find the website interface very user-friendly but on several occasions both Ian & Jessica have helped us to gather more auditions & in faster timelines than might have been possible otherwise. The talent pool of voice professionals through voices.com is unmatched and we have had many great experiences with the professionals we've selected on our projects. I can't even think of one that has not worked out, as the professionalism & responsiveness of the talent once selected has been overwhelmingly consistent. We're so appreciative of our partnership with voices.com and truly look forward to continuing our momentum this year!

Voices Excellent

So far I've been really impressed with the Voices.com platform and my interactions with the staff.

I had a great conversation/consultation with Cameron last week and he did a terrific job explaining to me what I needed to do to advance myself within Voices.com and in voice over in general. I actually first encountered Cameron on the Mission Audition podcast (another added value) and was able to glean some value from his tips on auditioning. I most appreciated that Cameron was friendly and flexible. He was willing to listen to a couple auditions to give me some engineering feedback that my novice skill set needed.

As far as the platform is concerned, I haven't been able to book a gig yet but that result falls on my shoulders. I needed the consultation with Cameron to step my game up and I'm thankful that a consultation comes with the fee you pay to audition.

The platform is really user friendly and matches up with jobs that are a strong fit for your abilities. Coming from a career in sales, it's really great to have leads COME TO YOU. Now it's just up to you to show em what ya got!

Voices My experience and opinion of Voices.Com

I have only been active with Voices.Com for barely 8 months and it has been GREAT!
I have been able to utilize your vast resources, attend Webinars, ask for help and advice from your Staff (Congratulations - from my years of management experience you are fortunate and employ excellent People), audition as much as possible and continue to develop my expertise as a Voice Talent.
I have had opportunities that would not have occurred without being a premium member, great Clients, projects and professional friendships, even messages from projects that were not awarded but that would like to work together in the future when my voice style/tonal quality is better suited.
Voices.Com is the best! What some call Pay 2 Play, I now call it Play 4 Pay!
I do have only one regret and recommendation:
I should have started sooner, there is no time or reason not to begin immediately. The missed opportunities and experiences will not expedite your career goals and I won't bother to list all the Platitudes that will attest to that!
Thank You Kelly Mathews, David Gravelle, Matt, Ashley Schmidt, the Ciccarellis and the entire staff at Voices. Com.

Best Regards,
David

Voices Voices.com played a crucial role in my development as a voice artist during my initial year

Voices.com played a crucial role in my development as a voice artist during my initial year. Although I would have preferred to secure more jobs, the knowledge I gained from each audition I submitted was priceless, and it has greatly improved my skills as a voice artist. I am especially grateful to ***, who provided me with excellent advice on multiple occasions, enabling me to enhance my technique both within and outside of Voices.com. Although I have currently put my membership on hold, I anticipate returning in the future.

Voices I used Voices.com a few years ago when I started my voice acting career

I used Voices.com a few years ago when I started my voice acting career. I had some success, but I got frustrated and decided to focus on audiobooks for a while. Last November, I decided to give it another try and was pleasantly surprised by how user-friendly the site had become. They pay close attention to new members, respond quickly to questions, provide interactive opportunities for members, and offer access to professional voice actors. The opportunity to read copy with a V.com professional is an excellent service for both new and experienced members. The yearly membership is a bit expensive, but since they have improved their mission, if you can land a job or two, it will pay for itself.

Voices Voices.com Review: A Game Changer for My Voiceover Career

I gotta say, I've been using Voices.com for about 4 years now and it's been a game changer for me. I started out just dabbling in voiceover work, but now it's my full-time gig. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of work. I gotta audition for a ton of jobs to make sure I'm bringing in enough cash to keep the lights on. But the best part is that I get to work for myself and set my own schedule. Plus, I've got clients that keep coming back for more, so my business just keeps growing.

Now, I know some folks out there are grumbling about the commission that Voices.com takes. Yeah, it's a bit steep compared to what you might see elsewhere in the States. But honestly, I think it's worth it. The voiceover landscape is changing, and more and more work is being done from home. Plus, a lot of it is going non-union. So if you wanna stay competitive, you gotta be willing to pay for access to the best gigs and clients. And that's where Voices.com comes in.

Sure, it'd be great if they took a smaller cut of the pie. But honestly, I've made back my yearly fee with just one job. And the access to auditions and clients that I get through Voices.com is just unparalleled. Plus, their customer service is top-notch. Seriously, they're fantastic.

I get that some folks who've been in the voiceover game for a while might not be thrilled with the way things are changing. But for me, Voices.com has been a total game changer. I'm a happy customer, and I recommend them to anyone who's looking to break into the biz. Thanks, Voices.com, for giving me a new career!

Voices Inconsistent Talent Knowledge: My Experience with Voices

This review is all about my experience with Voices, and I must say that working with Lisi has always been a great experience. She has always helped our studio and clients as much as possible and in a timely manner. However, there are some issues that I have faced while working with Voices.

One of the biggest problems that I have faced is the inconsistency of the talent knowledge of recording and acting versatility. As someone who runs the VO department for a game company, I regularly hire voice actors from agencies local and abroad. Unfortunately, the lack of recording knowledge that some of the actors have has sometimes forced me to miss client deadlines due to voices talent unbearable peaking audio deliveries. This inconsistency is a major issue that needs to be addressed.

Moreover, there doesn't seem to be a basic knowledge with all the actors which makes this service incredibly inconsistent. Some of the actors are also very inexperienced, which is why the service is so inexpensive, I understand, but being able to take direction is paramount in this field and sometimes talent falls painfully short. Professionalism on the actors part is also important and I have run into some situations where scripts were not printed in time for recording, forcing our studio and client to wait 15 - 20 min before recording. Nervousness to the point of apologizing more than acting. Tardiness to conference calls.

Despite these issues, the staff, mainly Lisi, has been great at fielding better talent for our studio. However, a lack of recording knowledge has been the hardest hurdle to overcome. I hope that Voices can address these issues and improve their service in the future.

Voices Voices.com Review: Shady Business Tactics and Poor Customer Service - Stay Away!

I used to be a customer of Voices.com, but then I left. Recently, they sent me an email with a coupon code for 50% off their annual price of $499. The code was BABYCOMEBACK, which I thought was pretty funny. I decided to give it a try and see if it was worth it. But when I tried to use the code, the site wouldn't let me. I sent them an email, but got no response. I called them, but no one answered. I left a message, but still no response. Finally, I got in touch with Evan Wiebe, who is apparently a Senior Talent Account Manager. He told me that the coupon had expired and the best they could do was offer me $100 off the annual fee. I wasn't interested in that, so I forwarded him the email I had sent to their website with a time stamp that clearly showed that I was well within the time limit of having the coupon honored. But Evan told me that they had no proof of my email showing up in their system, and he asked for more proof. What other proof is there, other than a friggin' email with the time stamp? I'm not some computer wizard that makes fake emails to be able to use a coupon code BEFORE it has expired! He claimed that it just didn't add up. If this is how they treat former customers, then I don't want any part of their company. And I did some research and found out that they have some shady business tactics. So, my advice to you is to stay away from Voices.com.

Voices Voices.com Review: A Scam or Legit Way to Make Money from Home?

I stumbled upon Voices (voices.com) after watching a YouTube video that recommended it as a free site to make money from home. As someone who is always on the lookout for legitimate ways to earn money online, I decided to check it out. However, upon scrolling through their website, I couldn't help but feel like something was off. The site gave off a strong scam vibe, whether you were a client or a talent.

In this day and age, it's easy to spot companies like these from a mile away. They offer "free" services, but their membership fees of $499 and $2,999 per year are immediate red flags. I know some people might think I'm being too harsh, but I don't want anyone to fall victim to these online scams. When a business model is designed to help people, you can tell. When it's designed to make money at all costs, you can also tell. And in the case of Voices, it's clear that they're in it for the money, period.

As someone who has worked online for years, I know that people like this will take advantage of you whether you're a job seeker or a job provider. Ethics are non-existent, and you should only work with them if you don't mind getting ripped off. That's why I'm taking the time to write this review. I'm tired of dishonest people enriching themselves at the expense of job-seekers and employers who are honestly trying to help them.

If you're looking for talent, I suggest posting on a legitimate job-search website. If you're looking for work, do the same. Post your services on freelance sites or find a legitimate agency to work with. Yes, it takes hard work, but avoiding the hard work is what gives these "companies" the opportunity to take advantage of you. Stay away from sites that promise a bed of roses and throw out sketchy "clauses" or vague conditions instead of being upfront and transparent with you. Trust me, you'll be better off.

Voices Exceptional Customer Service at Voices.com: A Personalized Experience with Courtney Colin

Hey there, I gotta say, I'm really impressed with Voices dot com. I recently had a chat with one of their customer service reps, Courtney Colin, and she was super helpful. She really knew her stuff and gave me some great tips on how to improve my profile and get more exposure on the site.

What really stood out to me was how personal she was. She took the time to really understand my needs and gave me some really specific advice that I know is going to help me out. And she didn't just leave it at that - she followed up with an email that summarized everything we talked about.

I gotta say, it's really refreshing to see a company that cares so much about its customers. It's clear that Voices dot com is all about professionalism and making sure their clients are happy. And with people like Courtney on their team, they're definitely doing something right.

So thanks, Voices dot com, for being awesome. And thanks, Courtney, for being such a great help. You guys rock!

Voices Voices.com Review: Good Site, But Not Perfect

I joined voices.com a year ago and I gotta say, it's been a pretty good experience. I managed to snag about a dozen jobs and made almost $6,000, which is pretty sweet. I read for over 800 jobs, but about 200 of them never closed. I'm not sure why that is, maybe the clients found someone else or the project got canceled. But voices.com says you should be booking between 2% and 7% of your auditions, and since a quarter of mine never closed, my booking rate was lower than I would have liked. That's why I decided to leave after a year.

Cameron Pocock, the guy who runs the site, is a really nice guy. He gave me some suggestions on how to improve my booking rate, but ultimately, none of them worked. He kept saying it was because of my audio quality, my voice, my cover letters, or my demo page, but I've been doing voiceovers since 1976 and I've never had a problem before. I think it's just the luck of the draw sometimes.

The site is pretty good overall. There are a lot of talented voice actors on there, and I was lucky enough to land a job for Budweiser while I was a member. But you do have to read for a ton of jobs in order to actually book work. They really emphasize the importance of having a demo page, but I never got a job because of mine. You just have to audition a lot.

One thing that annoyed me was that they kept trying to upsell me on their $3,000 annual membership, even though I wasn't booking a lot of jobs. It was like, "Hey, you're not booking anything, but if you spend more money, maybe that'll help!" I didn't really buy it.

Overall, I think voices.com is a good site, but it's not perfect. I've found that I can make just as much money on a couple of other similar sites and by doing business with local radio and TV stations. If they can get more clients to actually pick a voice actor for their job, I'd definitely consider going back.

Voices My Experience with Voices.com: A Rollercoaster Ride of Frustration and Disappointment

My experience with Voices.com has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. I recently let my one-year membership expire and wanted to share my thoughts on the platform. When I first signed up, I was hopeful that I would receive feedback on my audio auditions and eventually land some paying jobs. Unfortunately, after submitting over 500 auditions, I didn't receive a single acceptance. I always made sure to carefully read the job requirements and rehearse the script before submitting my audition with a friendly introduction. I even made sure to highlight my professionalism and dedication to quality work.

After several months of no results, I had two 45-minute conference calls with Cameron, who offered constructive criticism on my profile, testimonials, and experience listings. However, even after making the suggested changes, I still didn't receive any job offers. While I appreciated the timely responses from different representatives, I found that significant difficulties were not resolved.

One of my biggest frustrations with Voices.com is their lack of job status updates. I currently have 118 jobs to which I've applied dating back to July 2019, and they still show as "undecided." Voices.com claims that some clients don't bother to update the status, but as an escrow entity, they must know if a job has been awarded. This lack of transparency is concerning and makes me question the legitimacy of the platform.

Another issue I encountered was the inability to hear an awarded voice over. Voices.com claims that this is confidential, but without being able to hear the finished product, it's difficult to know how to improve my auditions. There is no standard or anything to compare myself to from actual jobs offered, which leaves me to suspect that the jobs were not actually awarded.

Despite these frustrations, I know that my voice over abilities are marketable. I have worked in radio for the past 10 years and am frequently requested to provide the voice range for advertising clients and non-profits.

Overall, I would recommend Voices.com as a practice platform for those willing to pay the $499 membership fee. However, if you're expecting to land paying jobs or receive updates on your audition status, you may want to consider other options.

Voices Voices.com Review: Pros and Cons of the Voice Acting Platform

I've been a member of voices.com for about 5 years now and I have to say, it's a great platform to practice auditioning. However, there are a few issues that I've encountered that I think are worth mentioning.

Firstly, there are a lot of job postings on the site, but unfortunately, many of them don't actually result in a hire. This can be frustrating, especially when you've spent time and effort putting together an audition.

Secondly, the site allows anyone who is willing to pay their fee to become a voice artist. While this may seem like a good thing, it means that there are a lot of people competing for the same jobs. This can result in some jobs receiving over a hundred auditions, which can make it difficult to stand out.

Thirdly, when you're competing for a job, you're often doing so based on your guess of what the client is willing to pay. This means that some people are getting voice overs for very little, which can be frustrating for those who are trying to make a living from their craft.

Fourthly, when a client forgets to release funds, there's not much you can do about it. I had one job that still hasn't released funds and it's been almost a year. Customer service wasn't much help either, as they basically told me to take care of any issues myself.

All of these issues combined meant that I stopped auditioning on the site, as I wasn't getting paid and I felt like I was wasting my time and money.

That being said, if you're a client looking for a voice artist and you're willing to pay more than $100, then you'll have a lot of auditions to choose from. You'll get a mix of inexperienced and experienced artists, but if you want the best, you'll need to be willing to pay more.

For those who are considering getting a yearly membership, I would advise you to think twice. While you'll have the chance to audition for a lot of jobs, only a lucky few actually make much money. Plus, you'll be paying hundreds of dollars just to audition.

Overall, while voices.com can be a useful platform for voice artists, there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed in order to make it a fairer and more effective platform for everyone involved.

Voices Voices Review: A Numbers Game with Shrinking Budgets and Low-Paying Gigs

Yo, let me tell you about Voices. If you're trying to make it big in the voiceover game, you better be in the top 100 or have some rising star status, otherwise you're gonna have a tough time getting any work. And even if you do audition, you better do it within the first 5 minutes of the job posting or you're screwed. Ain't nobody gonna hear you if there's already 50 other people in the mix.

I've been on Voices for a few years now and I've had some success, but it's definitely not all sunshine and rainbows. Back in 2015, there was some drama about their lack of transparency with "professional service jobs" and I was hesitant to join. But eventually, I caved and gave it a shot. At first, it was working out pretty well. I booked some gigs and even got shortlisted a bunch of times. But things started to change.

Nowadays, it's a numbers game. The more auditions you submit, the more you'll get. But it can be exhausting. Most of the work is corporate or explainer-type stuff, paying between $200-$500. You might get lucky and find some commercial gigs, but you're better off finding an agent for that kind of work. And don't even get me started on the payment model. They take an extra 20% off the top for "professional services" but it's not always clear what those services are. And some jobs stay listed as "in progress" for months on end.

Lately, the budgets have been shrinking and the work is drying up. I used to get private invitations for gigs paying decent money, but now they're offering me $150 for a job. No thanks. And most of the public invitations are for jobs paying $100-$200. It's great for newbies, but not so much for the pros. And the only gigs paying big bucks are eLearning narrations, which are a total snooze-fest.

I wish Voices would stop accepting all these low-budget jobs. It's bringing the whole industry down. And don't even bother trying to contact customer service for help. They'll just give you some canned response and move on. It's all about damage control for them.

Voices Voices.com Review: My Experience as a Premier Member

I just wanna say, I've been using Voices.com for a while now and it's been a great experience. I signed up as a Premier Member back in November 2015 and I gotta say, it's been worth it. Julianna Lantz helped me set up my profile and gave me some great advice on how to present myself. Since then, I've booked over 12 jobs in just 30 days. That's crazy!

What's really cool about Voices.com is their Voice Match software. It helps me find auditions that are perfect for me. I don't have to waste time on auditions that aren't a good fit. The site is also super easy to use and everything is laid out really well. I don't have to waste time searching for what I need. Plus, the clients I've worked with have all been really professional and fun to work with.

The best part is the return on investment. For less than $500 a year, I get up to 10-15 auditions a day. That's insane! I've had jobs that started out as $200 local spots turn into $2,100 campaigns. That's just crazy! And I've been able to invest in my equipment and my career because of the work I've gotten through Voices.com.

I know some people complain about the number of auditions they have to do, but honestly, if you're a voice actor, you should be excited about the opportunity to practice and get better. I've improved more in the last 60 days than I have in the last 15 years. And the best part is, I'm getting paid to do what I love.

If you're a voice actor looking for work, I highly recommend Voices.com. The Voice Match technology, the account management, and the SurePay system have all changed my career for the better. I'm so glad I took a chance on this site. It's paid off in more ways than I can even describe. Thanks, Voices.com!

Voices Don't Trust These Guys!

I am a former paying customer of Voices.com, and was recently sent an email from them offering me 50% off their ridiculous annual price of $499 to come back. The coupon code was aptly named, BABYCOMEBACK, so after some thought, I decided I'd pull the trigger and jump back into the madness, since at that price it might be worth it. However, after several attempts to use the code, the site wouldn't let me use it. So, I sent an email to them stating that their site would not allow me to use the coupon code. I called the next day, and got no one on the line, so I left a message, no reply. So, I called again the next day and they referred me to Evan Wiebe, Senior Talent Account Manager. I left another VM with him, and waited. Finally, Evan responded only to tell me that the coupon had expired and the best they could do was offer me $100 off the annual fee, if I was interested. Hell no, I wasn't interested! I then forwarded him the email that I had sent to their website with a time stamp that clearly showed that I was well within the time limit of having the coupon honored. Voices Don't expect results

My one-year membership has just run out and I have held off in commenting about my year long experience with Voices.com since it's been a mixed bag. My expectations when I took out a membership was to get feedback from my audio auditions resulting in some paying jobs. Despite submitting over 500 auditions none of these resulted in an acceptance. Not a single one! Every time I would carefully read the job parameters and rehearse the script, then submit with a short friendly intro saying'I am easy to work with and a consummate professional dedicated to bringing the highest level of quality to their project'.
When several months had gone by without any results I had 2,45-min conference calls with Cameron who offered constructive criticism. I reworked my profile, testimonials, experience listings, etc. at his suggestion. All without results. Subsequent emails to different representatives were usually answered in a timely fashion but significant difficulties were not resolved.
One of my biggest problems with this company is that they don't update the status of a job. I currently show 118 jobs to which I've applied dating back a full year to July 2019 and they still show as ?undecided'. Voices.com says that some clients don't bother to update this and yet Voices must know if a job has been awarded since they act as an escrow entity, releasing funds to the V/O artist when a job is complete. This is a huge frustration and frankly seems suspect.
Another difficulty is one's inability to hear an awarded voice over. They say this is confidential and yet without being able to hear the difference in finished product anything I would submit is strictly conjectural. There is simply no standard or anything to compare yourself with from the actual jobs offered. It leaves one to suspect that the jobs were actually awarded. How would one know?
I know personally that my voice over abilities are marketable since I have worked in radio for the past 10 years and am frequently requested to provide the voice range for their numerous and varied advertising clients as well as PSAs for many non-profits.

So, if you want to use this company as a practice platform maybe it's worth $499 to you. But if you're expecting to get work from what might be several hundred auditions you apply for or to know the status of auditions you've submitted take heed and find another company.

Voices I have been attempting to contact their toll-free number and the Director of Finance on a daily basis for the past

I have been attempting to contact their toll-free number and the Director of Finance on a daily basis for the past three weeks. However, I have not received any response. I am seeking a refund for the overdraft charges on my account, as well as an additional $500 for the time and effort I have put into contacting them and filing complaints with ComplaintsBoard.com and the attorney general of the US and Missouri. I have spent a significant amount of time on the phone without achieving any results. My request is for a total refund amounting to $1150.

Voices This company makes it very difficult to cancel my membership

This company makes it very difficult to cancel my membership. On January 5th, I purchased a membership to have access to audition for work on voices.com. However, I quickly realized that all the jobs listed were non-union work. As a union voice-over artist, working through this company would jeopardize my union and health insurance. I clicked the cancel membership button, and it asked me to confirm my request. I clicked it again, but then a popup window appeared, stating that a member of their support team would reach out to confirm my request and start the process of closing my account. The support team usually responds within 24-48 hours. In the meantime, I sent a message through their website expressing my desire to cancel my membership. I didn't want to wait 48 hours and have a conversation with them about it. I wanted an immediate refund and to be removed from the website to protect my standing with the union. The next day, I received an email saying that my request to cancel my Voices.com subscription had been received. The email also asked why I decided to cancel and how they could improve their service if I chose to continue in the future. As an account manager at Voices.com, the sender wanted to chat with me, share options to continue my membership, and offer tips for effective auditions. Their office hours are from 8am to 4pm ET, Monday through Friday. I called that afternoon, shocked that I had to speak to someone at the company to explain why I wanted to cancel my membership after being a member for less than 24 hours. The person I spoke to seemed to understand that they don't list union work. They assured me that my membership would be canceled, and I would receive a refund. However, it has been one week, and I still haven't received a refund. When I checked online, I saw that my membership was still active. I clicked the cancel membership button again and tried calling the person I spoke to a week ago. I waited on the line for over 20 minutes after pressing his extension, so I decided to email him while waiting. I explained that my membership was still active, I hadn't received a refund, and I would be contacting ComplaintsBoard.com about the frustrating and time-consuming process of canceling a membership. This process has also cost me financially, as my credit card company has already charged me interest on the membership.

Voices Payment at stake

Hello, I have completed a job vide job number #636014 through www.voices.com.

My payment was released from Surepay on June 14th. But the amount hasn't been reflected on my PayPal account. It was notified that the payment would reflect in my account by June 23rd.

But to make things worse, PayPal has disabled my account citing some unusual activity. I called their customer support and they are saying that it will take 3-5 days to get it sorted. Five days are over since I filed my complaint and so far there is no progress from PayPal. I reached out to voices customer service too, but I didn't get any assistance other than their automated messages that said they'll revert in 2 days. It's been 4 days, and still no response. As of now, the payment is seen as 'Paid Out' on voices.com, while I haven't received any money. Attaching screenshots of voices.com & PayPal.com Interfaces.

Regards,

Anusree

Voices Beware of Voices.com: A Scam Website That Charges You to Apply for Jobs

Voices (voices.com) is a website that charges you just to apply for jobs. This is not a good thing for people in this industry. They don't tell you that you have to pay to apply for jobs on their website. This is a scam website, so be careful. They might take your voice recordings and use them for their own profit. This is not fair to people who are trying to make a living in this industry.

Voices Voices.com Review: Is the Premium Fee Worth It in Today's Competitive Voice Over Industry?

Been using Voices.com for a long time now, and I gotta say, things have changed a lot in the voice over industry. There's a lot more people trying to get in on the action, and that means there's more competition than ever before. And with all that competition, it's getting harder and harder to justify the premium fee that Voices.com charges.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a good site and all. But when you compare it to some of the other options out there, it's hard to justify the cost. I've actually earned more money from another site in just two years than I did in a whole decade with Voices.com. And that's why I ultimately decided to leave.

Now, I'm not saying that Voices.com is a bad site or anything like that. But I do think that they need to take a hard look at their payment model and figure out a way to make it more competitive. Because if they don't, they're going to continue to lose customers to other sites that offer better value for money.

So if you're thinking about signing up for Voices.com, just be aware that there are other options out there. And while Voices.com might be a good choice for some people, it might not be the best choice for everyone.

Voices Voices.com Review: A Scam Company That Preys on Aspiring Voice Actors

Voices (voices.com) is a company that claims to help talented individuals find work in the voiceover industry. However, after my experience with them, I can confidently say that they are nothing but a scam. They prey on the hopes and dreams of aspiring voice actors, charging them for the opportunity to audition for jobs that may not even exist.

In no way does any real talent company charge for auditions. This is a clear indication that Voices is not a legitimate company. They are simply trying to make a profit off of the hard work and talent of others. It is best to start your own website and go freelance, as you will make a ton more money than having some scam take advantage of you.

To make matters worse, Voices pays for 5-star reviews. One company has come forward exposing this information, which means that any 5-star review on their website cannot be trusted. It would be foolish to believe that these reviews are genuine.

Overall, I would not recommend Voices to anyone looking to break into the voiceover industry. They are a scam and should be avoided at all costs. Instead, focus on building your own brand and finding legitimate opportunities through reputable sources. Don't let Voices or any other scam company take advantage of your talents and hard work.

Voices Voices.com Review: A Platform More Focused on Making Money Than Helping Users

Voices (voices.com) used to be a decent place for voice over artists to showcase their talents and find work. However, over the years, it seems like they've become more focused on making money than helping their users. It's a sad story that we've heard before - a company starts out with good intentions, but eventually succumbs to greed.

One of the biggest issues with Voices is that they charge their users annual dues. This means that voice over artists have to pay just to be a part of the platform. But that's not all - Voices also takes a percentage of the talent fees. This seems like a pretty brazen way to make money, especially considering that the platform is supposed to be helping voice over artists find work.

To make matters worse, there have been accusations that Voices pads the fees without informing the talent. This means that voice over artists could be getting paid less than they deserve, without even realizing it. It's hard to say whether these accusations are true or not, but it's definitely concerning.

Overall, it's hard to recommend Voices to any voice over artist. The platform seems more focused on making money than helping its users, and the annual dues and percentage of talent fees are pretty outrageous. If you're looking for a place to showcase your voice over talents and find work, there are probably better options out there.

Voices Navigating the Fees of Voices.com: A Mixed Bag for Voiceover Talent

I used to be a member of Voices back in the day, around 2005-06, and I recently went back to check out their fees and rates. Let me tell you, it's a bit of a mixed bag. Some platforms charge you a flat one-time annual fee, which can be nice and predictable. Others only charge you a fee when they actually get you a job, which can be a relief if you're not getting a lot of work. But Voices.com? They do both. Plus, they handle all invoicing and charge a processing fee to the clients. It's a lot to keep track of, and it can make it hard to build a personal, ongoing relationship with clients.

Now, I'm not saying that Voices.com is a bad platform. They do have a lot of job postings and a wide variety of clients. But all those fees can really add up, especially if you're just starting out in the business. And let's be real, voiceover work is already a tough gig. It's not like we're rolling in dough over here. So when a platform like Voices.com imposes so many different fees on our talent budget, it can feel a bit excessive.

That being said, I do appreciate that Voices.com handles all the invoicing and processing fees for us. It can be a real pain to deal with that stuff on your own, especially if you're not great with numbers. And like I said, they do have a lot of job postings and clients, so it's not like you're paying all those fees for nothing. But if you're on a tight budget or just starting out, it's definitely something to keep in mind.

Overall, I think Voices.com is a decent platform, but the fees can be a bit overwhelming. If you're willing to put in the time and effort to build relationships with clients outside of the platform, you might be better off with a different platform that doesn't charge so many different fees. But if you're looking for a one-stop-shop for all your voiceover needs, Voices.com might be worth checking out. Just be prepared to keep track of all those fees!

Voices Great Talent, Terrible Service: My Experience with Voices.com

I gotta say, I've had some pretty good luck finding some top-notch talent on Voices (voices.com). These folks really know their stuff and have all the gear and experience to back it up. I mean, I've been blown away by some of the voiceover work I've gotten from this platform.

But let me tell you, the service team is a whole different story. I'm talking project managers, finance folks, the whole shebang. These guys are just plain terrible. They can't communicate worth a lick, they're always dropping the ball on coordination, and they just seem completely lost half the time. I mean, seriously, don't even bother going through them.

Every time I've tried to get their support on a big project, it's been a total nightmare. They just delay everything, confuse the artists, and overcharge for their so-called "management fees". And don't even get me started on the turnover and absenteeism. I swear, I've been bounced from project manager to project manager more times than I can count, and every time I have to explain everything all over again. It's a real pain in the you-know-what.

All in all, I'd say Voices is a pretty decent platform if you're looking for some top-notch talent. But if you need any kind of support from their service team, good luck. You're better off just handling everything yourself.

Voices Voices.com Review: Good, Bad, and Ugly - Is It Worth Your Time and Money?

Been on Voices for more than 10 years now and I can tell you that there are some good, bad, and ugly things about it.

The good thing is that if you get hired, it's usually easy money. You just have to do your voice work and get paid. But the bad thing is that you're competing with newbies and those with zero experience who are willing to take any job at any cutthroat price. It's tough to get hired when there are so many people willing to work for peanuts.

And then there's the ugly part. Voices used to be a great platform, but their annual fees are not worth it anymore. You have to pay $500US PLUS a 20% fee on each job. That's a lot of money to pay just to be on a platform. And to make matters worse, there are tons and tons of clients who want you to work for peanuts. They'll say things like "this has a run time of about ten hours of voice work, and our budget is $250." Instead of setting those clients straight, Voices' replies are "well, just don't bid or bid what you think it's worth". What a waste of time!

Overall, you won't earn a living with this site at all. As a pro, I get maybe 5 contracts a year. MAYBE. It's just not worth the time and money anymore.

Voices Voices.com Professional Services: A Disappointing Runaround

I gotta say, I ain't too thrilled with Voices.com. Don't get me wrong, their education and training stuff is top-notch, but when it comes to their Professional Services program, they're as quiet as a mouse. I've been trying to get some answers about how they divvy up the voice seeker's budget for months now, and all I've gotten is the runaround. First they told me to talk to someone else, then that person didn't even bother to respond to my follow-up email. And don't even get me started on their latest blog post - it talks about clarifying things for the voice seeker, but what about us voice actors? It's like they don't even care about us!

I mean, maybe it's just me. Maybe I shouldn't have asked for a record of our conversations about Professional Services. But come on, is it really that suspicious to want to keep track of things? Some folks seem to be doing alright with Voices.com, but I'm just about ready to throw in the towel. I don't need this kind of runaround in my life.

Voices Voices.com Review: A Disgraceful System That Takes Advantage of Voice-Over Artists

This website, Voices (voices.com), is not very helpful for most voice-over artists. It seems like a scam to me. If you use a free account, you won't get any jobs. I guarantee it. They say you need a good profile, but you can't even apply for any jobs. You just have to wait and hope someone contacts you. But why would they do that when there are premium members actively applying for the same jobs?

So, you might think getting a Premium account is the solution. But it costs a whopping $500! And there's no guarantee you'll make that money back. Some people say it took them a whole year to make that money back. That's a long time to work without making any money. And even if you do get work through the site, it's not a guarantee that you'll make enough to cover the cost of the Premium account.

In my opinion, it's best to avoid voices.com altogether. It's a disgraceful system that takes advantage of voice-over artists.

Voices Voices.com Review: Proceed with Caution - Low Pay and Concerns About Unpaid Work

I've been in the voiceover business for 45 years, working in four different countries for some of the biggest accounts in the world. I decided to join Voices.com with my own money after retiring, hoping to continue my passion for voiceover work. However, my experience with the company has not been great so far.

I've been getting audition after audition, but the pay is very low and I haven't seen any results. I'm also concerned that they may be using my work without paying me. To protect myself, I've started inserting a tone into all my recordings so they can't use them without my permission.

I'm not the only one with these concerns. There are other sites out there that actually check your suitability for a voiceover job before offering it to you. It's important to do your research and not believe everything you read, including this review.

I posted this on Reddit to see if others have had similar experiences and if the company is responsive to feedback. I'm just a regular voiceover guy like you, and I want to make sure that my hard work is being compensated fairly. It's frustrating to see so many opportunities on the site, but not getting any real results.

Overall, I would recommend being cautious before investing your money in Voices.com. While there may be some good opportunities, it's important to do your research and protect yourself from potential scams.

Voices don't use them

I actually had no intentions to spend a lot of money on their service.
Even though the account is given for free, it doesn't mean anything. They use aggressive strategies to make you purchase a more expensive subscription, but they are not rude, they are polite but very persistent and it irritates, to be honest.
Don't subscribe at all or give them a fake phone number so they couldn't
reach you.
