Wag! review: Dog sitter hired through Wag

I hired a Wag person to sit with my 5 month old puppy from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Christmas Day. The sitter arrived early and he seemed competent. While at the party, I checked my Ring camera to see if all was well. To my confusion, the sitter had covered the living room camera with his baseball cap. Feeling a little alarmed, I immediately went home. The sitter stated he didn't like to be watched and felt uncomfortable with the camera. I accepted this explanation, although this still seemed odd. My puppy, who loves everyone, came out of my bedroom with her tail between her legs.

After he left, I started to notice other oddities. A cabinet door that is always closed, was open. In my bedroom, the items on my bedstand had been moved. To my alarm, I found a bottle of a medication that is a controlled substance, missing.

I called the police and they are doing an investigation, as stealing a controlled substance is a felony. Also, without this medication, I am at high-risk of seizures or even death.

The sitter also double charged me and claimed he walked my puppy. Which he did not as evidenced by my outdoor Ring camera showing he and the dog never left the house. I am now uncomfortable in my own home and fearful of being a victim of further crimes. Just a terrible experience. Beware!
