Disappointing Experience with WeMassage.ca: Poor Customer Service and High Add-On Charges
I recently had an experience with WeMassage.ca that left me feeling pretty disappointed. I had purchased a Groupon for my wife as a Christmas gift, but unfortunately, we were unable to set up an appointment despite several attempts. After a few failed attempts, we decided to request a refund from Groupon, which was thankfully a quick and painless process.
After reading some other reviews, I'm actually relieved that my wife wasn't able to use the voucher. It seems that WeMassage.ca has some pretty steep add-on charges that make the overall cost of a massage much higher than what you would pay at a spa. This definitely makes the Groupon deal seem less appealing.
On top of that, I found it incredibly difficult to get any kind of customer service from WeMassage.ca. My wife tried multiple times to get in touch with someone for help, but she was met with frustration and anger instead. It's disappointing to see a company that doesn't seem to value its customers or their experiences.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend WeMassage.ca based on my experience. While I can't speak to the quality of the massages themselves, the lack of customer service and high add-on charges make it seem like there are better options out there.
Disappointing Experience with WeMassage.ca: Lack of Communication and Professionalism
I recently booked a couples massage for a special occasion through WeMassage.ca. Let me tell you, it was quite the experience. First off, I had trouble even setting up the appointment because they don't have a phone number listed (major red flag, if you ask me). I had to contact them twice before the massage to confirm that everything was still on schedule. They assured me that it was.
However, on the day of the massage, I received a call saying that they would be an hour late. I was disappointed, but I understood that things happen. Then, I received another call saying that they would be another hour late. At this point, I was starting to get frustrated. Finally, they called me at 8 pm to tell me that they would be leaving for my house within the hour. Keep in mind, my booking was for 5 pm. If they even showed up at that point, they wouldn't arrive until 9:30 pm. And with two massages to do, it would be close to midnight before they were finished.
I was so upset that I told them not to bother coming. It completely ruined our anniversary evening. The stress of the situation was not worth the deal. I was able to get my money back, but not through WeMassage.ca. I had to go through a different source.
Overall, I would not recommend WeMassage.ca. The lack of communication and professionalism was unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and find a different massage service.
Exceptional Massage Experience at WeMassage.ca with Skilled Therapist Jessica
My experience with WeMassage.ca was absolutely amazing! I had the pleasure of being massaged by Jessica, who was an exceptional therapist. The spa atmosphere was so relaxing and the VIP treatment made me feel like royalty. I came into the session feeling stressed, exhausted, and stiff, but after Jessica worked her magic, I left feeling like a brand new person. I slept like a baby that night and woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
The best part about WeMassage.ca is that you get all of this for only $17,50! I couldn't believe it. The aroma therapy and hydro massage were the perfect additions to my massage, and Jessica's skills as a therapist were unmatched. She was warm, gracious, and professional throughout the entire session. I felt like I was in good hands the entire time.
I would highly recommend WeMassage.ca to anyone looking for a top-notch massage experience. Jessica is a superbly trained therapist who truly cares about her clients. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment I walked in the door. I would definitely recommend bringing some extra cash for a tip because the experience is truly exceptional.
Overall, I had a lovely experience at WeMassage.ca and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating massage. Thank you, Jessica, for an amazing experience!
WeMassage.ca Review: False Advertising, Extra Fees, and Poor Customer Service
I ain't gonna say the same thing as everyone else, 'cause it's all the same. WeMassage.ca ain't worth your time or money. They won't honor any Groupon or deal, and if they do, they'll just keep canceling on you. And don't forget the extra fees you gotta pay for the masseuse to come to your place. I mean, I could pay an escort the same amount and at least they'll show up at my door (just kidding, kinda).
My partner and I got a couples massage, but we still had to pay $60, even though we live in the same damn house. And part of that $60 was for travel fees. Like, what the hell? Why should I pay twice for that? It's ridiculous.
If you're in the same boat as me, demand your money back and get it from your credit card company. Don't bother with their website reviews either, 'cause they're filtering out anything less than 5 stars. Surprise, surprise.
Honestly, the way they run their business is disgusting. And if they're gonna blame it on the lack of masseuses in our area, then why offer the product in the first place? It's just false advertising.
Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Disappointing Experience with WeMassage.ca: Groupon Issues and Overpriced Massages
So, I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with WeMassage.ca. I mean, I got a Groupon for a 2 hour massage as a gift over a year ago, and I've been trying to book it ever since. I even kept my schedule wide open, but no one ever got back to me. And now, the Groupon has expired, but I'm still trying to get at least one massage out of it.
But then, just today, I get an email from them saying they're "partnering" with Massage Club to bring in more staff. That sounds good, right? But here's the thing: their massage price is $120 for just one hour! I mean, come on! That's ridiculous! I'm not gonna pay over $80 (not even including tip) for just one massage when I should have gotten two over a year ago.
Honestly, I don't even know how they can call themselves a business. They're just ripping people off left and right. But, to be fair, I did contact them about my Groupon issue and they're trying to make it right. So, we'll see if they actually follow through with it. But, until then, I'm definitely getting a refund from Groupon.
Unreliable and Unprofessional: My Experience with WeMassage.ca
I've been trying to book a massage appointment with WeMassage.ca for a while now, but it seems like they can't find an available massage therapist. I've attempted to schedule at least three appointments, but I keep receiving notifications the day before the appointment that they couldn't find anyone available. It's frustrating because I was really looking forward to getting a massage, and now I have to keep waiting.
On my fourth attempt to schedule another appointment, I received a notification saying that my Groupon voucher code had already been activated, even though I never received my massage. I tried to contact someone for help, but there was no phone number available, only an email address.
If I had known that I would be jumping through hoops like this or waiting for months before I could actually get in contact with a massage therapist, I would have never paid for this service. I'm incredibly unimpressed with WeMassage.ca, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It seems like a scam.
-UPDATE-
After leaving my initial review, WeMassage.ca was able to schedule me in with a therapist. However, I was surprised to find out that I had to pay an additional $30 for travel charges on top of the Groupon I had purchased. While I understand that the therapist has expenses for traveling, this was not clearly outlined in the Groupon as an added expense. I've modified my review to include one extra star, but overall, I'm still very unsatisfied with the service and will not be returning. The business needs to do a better job of advertising its services and being transparent about any additional charges.
Disappointing Experience with WeMassage.ca: Poor Customer Service and Long Wait Times
I was really disappointed with my experience with WeMassage.ca. I had requested a massage appointment and had to wait for 14 days before I received any response. When I finally did get an email, it was just telling me to change my parameters. I decided to change my parameters to make it easier for them, but still didn't get any satisfaction. I received another email telling me that they were working on it, but I still didn't get any confirmation right up to the day and time I requested.
There are so many massage therapists in my city, so there is no excuse for this level of customer satisfaction. I gave them two more days to fix the situation, but they wanted two more weeks. I needed a massage two weeks ago, so this was a complete waste of my time. I was looking to minimize my stress, not make it worse.
I demanded a refund immediately, but they wanted two more weeks to book an appointment. I couldn't believe it. They think that when I'm in pain, I have an entire month to wait for them to book an appointment? This is an incredibly appalling joke.
I'm not wasting any more of my time on this poor excuse for a company. They don't even deserve one star, but I had to pick one to post my completely honest, factual review.
WeMassage.ca Review: Disappointing Experience with High Additional Costs and Booking Challenges
I recently had an experience with WeMassage.ca and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. I was excited to use a voucher I had purchased for a massage, but was disappointed to find out that the additional costs were extremely high. In fact, I ended up paying just as much as I would have paid to any other massage therapist in the city. The extra 15% fee they charged was based on a $100 hourly rate, not the discounted price I thought I was getting with my voucher. To make matters worse, the travel cost increased for every half hour I added to my service. And if two people were planning to get massages at the same location from the same masseuse, we would each have to pay the travel cost separately - meaning twice the cost! And on top of all that, taxes were added. I ended up paying three times more than I thought it would cost me in the first place.
Booking appointments with WeMassage.ca was also a challenge. It was almost impossible to book an appointment with a licensed professional massage therapist, which would have cost an additional $10. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience and would not recommend this service to anyone.
It's interesting to see how quickly the director of WeMassage.ca responded to my review, especially since I had been trying to get in touch with someone at the company for weeks without any luck. While I appreciate the response, I stand by my review and know that I am not the only one who has had a negative experience with this company. If WeMassage.ca wants to improve their reputation and receive positive reviews, they need to provide a fair and quality service.
I also want to point out that the company's website is misleading. When they mention "spa locations," it's not clear that they only have a handful of non-licensed people providing this service out of their homes. As someone from Toronto, I was disappointed to find out that there were no actual spa locations in my area.
In conclusion, I would not recommend WeMassage.ca to anyone looking for a quality massage experience. The additional costs and difficulty in booking appointments make it not worth the hassle.
Wemassage.ca Review: Terrible Customer Service and False Advertising
I bought a Groupon deal from wemassage.ca for an in-home massage because I was in a lot of pain and needed help fast. But, after I bought the deal, I found out that they didn't have any appointments available for over a week. So, I booked the first available appointment.
For the next 1-1/2 weeks, I got a few emails from them saying that they couldn't find a therapist and asking me to choose another date. But, the only dates they had available were ANOTHER 1-2 WEEKS in the future! I tried to contact them by email and phone, but I didn't get any response except for more emails asking me to schedule further out.
I was getting really frustrated, so I sent them more emails and left more voice messages. But, I still didn't get any response from them until the day of my supposed appointment when they sent me another automated email to reschedule.
I was really angry at this point, so I sent them an email threatening to take legal action for false advertising and fraudulent practices. Finally, I got a response from them! But, it was only because I threatened them.
I was so fed up with wemassage.ca that I decided to call Groupon and tell them about my problem. Groupon was really helpful! They refunded my money (even though it was past the 3-day limit) and said they would look into my complaint.
While I was on the phone with Groupon, I got a response from wemassage.ca to my threatening email. They were only concerned about their reputation and hoped that I wouldn't cause them any problems. But, it was too late for that.
In conclusion, I would not recommend wemassage.ca to anyone. If you need a massage, it's better to make an appointment with a local massage therapist instead. This company is not reliable and their customer service is terrible.
WeMassage.ca Review: Poor Communication & Customer Service, but Compensated for Mistake
I had a one-hour on-site massage appointment scheduled for Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 10am with WeMassage.ca. Unfortunately, the massage therapist (Sherrice) called me at 10:04am on that Tuesday asking to reschedule due to her having "transportation issues." We rescheduled for today, Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10am. However, it is now 10:45am and I have neither seen nor heard from Sherrice. I have called and left a voicemail message but I have not received a reply yet.
After reading the reviews here and elsewhere, I wish I had done that BEFORE purchasing my Groupon voucher! I also called the wemassage.ca number and no one picked up, or has called back. I've emailed, as well, but after reading reviews I'll be surprised if I get a response. I doubt that Groupon will be partnering with this "company" again, but I wouldn't be surprised if WeMassage's intention was to partner just once, simply to get paid by Groupon at least once.
Having variations between cities is not an excuse for poor therapist availability, or for poor responsibility and communication from therapists - this is something that should be vetted before agreeing to serve particular cities/areas. Additionally, variations between cities does not excuse the lack of customer service on the part of the "company." I really believe that this is not a legitimate company, and that any positive reviews are fake ones.
UPDATE: After posting my review, I received an email response from WeMassage. They apologized for the therapist non-arrival and offered assistance right away. They explained that all therapists are expected to arrive on time and that if there are any issues, they are to reach the client promptly by phone. They apologized for the therapist's reach on August 16th and explained that they did not know about the reschedule. They also asked me to retract my "false" review and offered compensation for my time.
I have since received a $50 gift "card" to my account and was able to schedule an appointment with a different therapist named Daryl. Although he did try to reschedule twice with me, I did accept one rescheduling request. I am happy to report that he showed up on time and performed an hour-long massage.
I have at least 3 more massages left with WeMassage (not counting a fourth one, should I choose to use the $50 gift credit), and will continue updating this review. Hopefully, the experience will continue to improve.

Disappointing Experience with WeMassage.ca: Poor Communication and Last-Minute Cancellations
So, I gotta say, I agree with all the bad reviews about WeMassage.ca. I mean, I was super stoked when I got a sweet deal on WAGJAG for six one-hour massages from these guys. But man, trying to book an appointment is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It takes them forever to respond to emails (like, seriously, 2-3 weeks sometimes), and there's no way to call them up and make an appointment over the phone.
And even when you do finally manage to book something, they'll just go and cancel it on you at the last minute. I mean, what kind of BS is that? It's like they're just trying to scam you out of your money or something.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend WeMassage.ca to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
Disappointing Experience with WeMassage.ca: Only Received One Massage from Groupon and Unable to Schedule Another
I had the same problem as the previous reviewer. I bought a Groupon for four massages from WeMassage.ca and only received one back in August. The massage was pretty good, but I've been trying to schedule a second massage for a while now and all I keep getting are emails saying they're "working hard" on it. Come on, guys! I've even asked for a refund and threatened to call the Better Business Bureau. They did give me a $30 gift card, but I can't even use it because they can't seem to schedule a massage for me.
It's really frustrating because I was looking forward to using all four massages and now it seems like I won't even get to use two of them. I understand that things can get busy, but it's been months since I've been able to schedule a massage. I hope they can get their act together soon because I don't want to have to go through the hassle of getting a refund or filing a complaint.
Overall, I would say that my experience with WeMassage.ca has been pretty disappointing. The one massage I did receive was good, but the lack of communication and inability to schedule another massage has been frustrating. I would caution anyone thinking about purchasing a Groupon from them to think twice and maybe look for another massage service instead.
Wemassage.ca Review: A Nightmare Experience with Non-Existent Customer Service
Wemassage.ca is a company that claims to offer massage services to its customers. However, my experience with them has been nothing but a nightmare. I have been trying to book a massage for the past four months, but every time I do, I receive a cancellation email. To make matters worse, when I try to get a refund, they ignore my messages and never reply. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.
Their customer service is non-existent. I have tried calling them several times, but no one ever answers the phone. It's like they don't want to deal with their customers' problems. This company is a total rip-off. They just want your money and then leave you hanging. It's a scam company, and I'm surprised they are still in business with all the bad reviews they have received.
If you're thinking of using Wemassage.ca, I would advise you to stay away from them. They are not a reliable company, and you will only end up wasting your time and money. It's a shame that they are still running despite all the negative feedback they have received. Save yourself the trouble and find a better massage service.

Disappointing Experience with WeMassage.ca: High Costs, Extra Fees, and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I wasn't too impressed with WeMassage.ca. I mean, sure, they offer massages, but the costs and fees are just ridiculous. I got a groupon for a massage, but once I got there, they hit me with all these extra fees that made the cost even higher than if I just went to a regular salon. And don't even get me started on their customer service - it was terrible! The massage therapist was late and didn't even do that great of a job, even though she was supposed to be certified. I mean, can anyone just get certified online these days? It was that bad. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend WeMassage.ca to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.
WeMassage.ca: Unreliable and Unprofessional - Don't Waste Your Money
I gave WeMassage.ca more than $250 in coupons, but I still haven't gotten a massage. They cancelled twice, and both times it was only two hours before the appointment. I even took time off work to make sure I could make it to the appointment. I've been waiting for months to get an appointment on the weekend, but they keep telling me that there are no therapists available. They keep telling me to request a new date, sometimes even months in advance. It's been over half a year, so I can't even get a refund. I would recommend saving your money and getting a real massage that's worth it. I think the therapists are probably not very good.
Disappointing Experience with We Massage: Poor Customer Service and Unreliable Appointments
I bought two coupons for We Massage back in February of 2017 and I've been trying to book an appointment with them ever since. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck. I've sent them five emails and they haven't replied to any of them. It's really frustrating because I was looking forward to getting a massage.
The one time they did manage to send a masseuse, she told me she had another appointment and could only stay for 40 minutes. I couldn't believe it! I was really disappointed because I was hoping for a full hour massage.
I work in the health field myself and I know how important it is to provide good customer service. We Massage doesn't seem to care about their customers at all. It's really disappointing.
If you're thinking about using We Massage, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The reviews on this site are pretty accurate and they speak for themselves. Don't waste your time or money on this company.
WeMassage.ca Review: A Complete Disaster - Terrible Customer Service and Waste of Money
I gotta say, my experience with WeMassage.ca was a complete disaster. I was really excited to try out their services, especially since I snagged a sweet deal on a 6-pack Groupon. But boy, was I in for a rude awakening.
First off, I had a heck of a time trying to schedule an appointment. I mean, I get it, they're probably pretty busy, but come on. I tried reaching out to customer service multiple times, but it was like talking to a brick wall. They barely responded to my emails and didn't seem to have any interest in helping me out.
After weeks of trying to get something scheduled, I finally gave up. And you know what? I never even got to use my Groupon. What a waste of money. I feel like I got robbed, to be honest.
I'm not one to hold back when it comes to sharing my opinions, so you better believe I'm going to tell everyone I know about this terrible experience. And I'm not going to stop there - I'm going to write as many reviews as possible to warn others about this company.
Honestly, I can't believe how poorly I was treated. It's like they don't even care about their customers. Shame on you, WeMassage.ca. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Disappointing Experience with WeMassage.ca - Save Yourself the Hassle and Go Somewhere Else
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with WeMassage.ca. I was really excited when I saw their Groupon deal for two massages - what a perfect Valentine's Day gift for my husband and me! But boy, was I wrong.
It's been over two months since I made the purchase, and we still haven't been able to use it. Every time I try to book a massage, they tell me to change my preferences - the date, the location, the therapist. I've lost count of how many times we've had to change what we originally wanted.
Finally, I gave up and said we'd be willing to go ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, with ANY THERAPIST. But even then, they couldn't seem to book us anything.
I asked for a refund, and at first they were pretty responsive - they told me to give them a few more days to confirm a booking. But that was weeks ago, and now they won't even respond to my calls or emails.
I'm beyond frustrated at this point. I just want my money back, but it seems like they're not interested in helping me out. I wouldn't recommend WeMassage.ca to anyone - save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
Unprofessional and Uncomfortable Experience with WeMassage.ca: A Review
I had a really tough time getting an appointment with WeMassage.ca. It took forever to finally get a slot that worked for me. But when the massage therapist finally showed up, things got even weirder. She asked me to take off my shirt right in front of her, without any privacy to get onto the table and cover myself up. And then she told me I couldn't take off my shorts, and had to keep my undergarments on for the massage. I mean, seriously? What kind of spa service has you undress in front of the masseuse? I was so uncomfortable that I asked her to leave immediately. And then I contacted Groupon to let them know about my experience with this company.
But when I tried to leave a one-star review on their website, I got an error message that said "The website cannot display the page." I tried several times over the course of a few days, but still couldn't leave my review. It's really frustrating when companies don't let you share your honest opinion about their services.
Overall, I would not recommend WeMassage.ca to anyone. The whole experience was just really uncomfortable and unprofessional. It's a shame, because I was really looking forward to a relaxing massage, but instead I just felt violated and disrespected.
Terrible Service and Possible Scam: My Experience with We Massage
This service is not good at all, and I reckon you should complain to Groupon and the Better Business Bureau about this company. I wouldn't even give them one star. My wife and I had booked massages on We Massage's website, used our Groupon, and paid the extra fees. But then, they asked us to reschedule less than 24 hours before the scheduled We Massage. It's like they're playing a game with you, and they keep you running around online until you give up, and they keep your money. I can't believe I fell for this on Groupon. It's a terrible service, and I'm going to do everything I can to get my money back, even if it costs me more money. I suggest you stay away from this company, as it's a possible scam. You can find massage deals that are just as good, locally.
paid amount, not wemassage is not able to provide service
I have bought 2 massage from We massage and following up with We massage from last 1 year, send 50 emails, they do not have service or therapist available, they wasted my time and money. I would like to file a case for compensation for $10, 000 for wasted my time and money. They did mental harassment. I have all emails with me.
There is no address mention on website, I think may be Canada. I think such sites should be stop or banned to do business in USA.
wemassage.ca
customer service
I purchased a Groupon offer for an in-home massage with this company because I was in severe pain and needed help quickly. It was only after the purchase that I found out they had no openings for over a week in the future, so I made an appointment at the first available opening.
Over the next 1-1/2 weeks, I received a few emails from them telling me that they had not been able to find a therapist and would I please choose another date yet ANOTHER 1-2 WEEKS in the future!
I emailed them and called and left voice messages without any response, except to get more fo these emails asking me to schedule further out. So I emailed and left more voice messages - and received NOT ONE reply from them, until the eventual day of my supposed appointment when they sent me another blasted automated email to reschedule.
As a last resort, I finally sent an email to them threatening to seek legal action for false advertising and fraudulent practices. THAT got an almost instant response! (of course).
As soon as I sent that email to them, I found the phone number for Groupon and told them my problem. They were wonderful! They refunded my money (even though it was way past the 3 days they normally allow), and said they would be looking into this complaint. While on the phone with Groupon, I received a response to my threatening email to wemassage.ca. The ONLY thing they were interested in, of course, was their reputation and 'hoped' I would not cause them any problems. Ummm, too late.
So, if you have the chance to use wemassage.ca to book a massage - don't. Make an appointment with your local massage therapist instead, especially if you are in pain. This is a company I would not ever recommend, for any reason.
only promises
My husband bought me a WeMassage gift card and I was super excited. I called them and made and appointment. Later I received a call and was told that I have to pick another date because they were full that day. That was not a problem. But then I received another call and they said the same thing again. I thought it was a joke! I told them that I'm a busy person and that it's really hard for me to find a free time. They said sorry and promised that this time everything would be ok. I believed them. But the same thing happened again, so I asked for a refund. They said no no and asked me to be patient and again I got only promises and nothing more!
they changed my appointment twice
I made the appointment for the massage through the website www.wemassage.ca. They confirmed the day, but on the next day I received the message that the massage was cancelled because the therapist was sick. I called them and changed the date, but the situation repeated again. Stay away from these liars and I won’t advise this company to other people. It is difficult to deal with such people, because they change everything too quickly.
impossible to reach the receptionist and make the appointment
My friend told me that the staff in the company www.wemassage.ca is really great and they made the best massage. I decided to try, but at first I needed to make the appointment. I called them several times, but the phone was busy or no one replied. It was awful. The worst services ever. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Let’s share views about this website.
