Wen Hair Care overrated product

after using this product, my hair became excessively oily with white flakes sprinkled all across my scalp! my hair actually looked cleaner BEFORE washing it with wen! the white residue is the biggest problem for me.

I have 2 daughters with very long hair one of them has stick straight hair and the other one has some natural curl to it and when she exercises or it's humid outside (we live in southern Indiana) so the humidity is always bad. The one with straight hair looked greasy & gave her ends very fuzzy. The one with curl in her hair wen just made her hair even more fuzzier. It seemed to make both of their worse! I used it also & I color my hair so I thought wen would make it healthier not the case. My hair looked like I had used vegetable oil to wash it. My hair is short a little wavey and course. It's hard to make my hair look flat & greasy but wen managed to do it! Do not buy this product it is a scam! I just called & cancelled my auto billing & shipping so I'm waiting to see if they will actually do it! Total scam!

Wen Hair Care Don't know why they're still in business

I really did not like their product and thank God I came across this website so I can write a review on it. I guess all women, including me, wanted a change and try out new products. I was suckered in with their infomercial and thoughted I needed to treat myself well for Christmas. The shippment was fast, but the product was really bad. I've never once used a shampoo that was so thick and does not have any lather at all. I read some of the other reviewers saying their hair would fall off. I haven't really noticed it, but I can totally understand because if you put something so thick on your hair that does not lather, hair will be pulled off. The product does not make your hair soft, but ucky, however long I try to wash it out, it still seems like there's a layer of wax or something still in it. I will not recommend this product at all.

Since I ordered a 3 months' worth of supply, I'll just cross my fingers they'll let me go without any problems. After reading all these review, I don't think I'll even bother returning it to get a refund.

Don't know why they're still in business.

Wen Hair Care Horrible customer service, misleading ads

First let me say that I loved the shampoo and conditioner they sent me. That's about all I loved. This is one of the most difficult companies I have ever dealt with. They insisted on charging my account three months in a row for product I returned before they would issue me a credit. Their prices after the initial shipping were insane. Their customer services reps told me one thing when I called, and then another thing the next time I called. I had to threaten to report them to their State's attorney general's office before I saw any results. Please please, please resist buying their product.
It's not worth the hassle.

I saw their add on a TV informercial and wanted to try their Wen hair care product. I was not so convinced because their product leave a grease hair but paid their first product. I canceled the product by phone (if not they will ship you every month) but after cancelation they were going to charge 3 payments of $36 on the following 3 months because they...

Wen Hair Care Hair loss

I purchased this product and after 2 weeks my hair started falling out, let me first say I have no medical issues and this is not normal hair shedding, I didn't connect the hair loss to the wen at first, until a friend said do you think it's the wen, so I googled wen hair loss and there are many women that have had the same reaction, and before some of you wen lovers comment, some women after several months are now having the same results (hair loss), I have contacted the fda and you need to call this number to report it [protected], I went to the wen facebook page and women posting they have hair loss was removed and blocked from commenting, if I would of seen some of these comments my hair would be on my head and not in the trash, it was healthy now it's like straw and brittle, I have stopped using wen over a week now, the hair loss is not as bad, but the damage is done and over half my hair is gone ...please report to the fda and the BBB, don't let them keep selling this to others, save someone from this, wish I had found web sites before I started using it!

well apparently they hadn't checked their face book in a while that's how I seen comments of other women with hair loss, I even became a friend of them on face book, but when I started posting about my hair loss everyday to let people know what I am going through they erased all comments of me and the other ladies and we can no longer post anything on that web site, so this is why I posted on this web site to let people know, some people just say well I learned a lesson, not me I am mad, I had beautiful long hair and it's have gone and dry and brittle! They have no warning on their shampoo and I am not assuming things, I know what screwed my hair up it was right away 2 weeks to be exact! But I never connected the two.

I have been using all the different wen products for 3 years, every washing, more n more hair falling out, bumps/sores on head and neck, really bad itching, ! I used to have thick nat. curly hair, now I have really thin flat hair, never once did I think it was the wen products, cuz I loved the soft shiny hair, and believed what chaz said about the good for you shampoo thathe was selling! I sure hope he helps all us women/men, help grow our hair back, or stops him from selling this hair remover he calls shampoo!

I have used Wen since May of 2014 and just stopped using it in Dec of 2015. The first time I used it was like wow my hair is so soft then on the second day when I combed through it in the shower I had a handful of hair. I just said to myself this was the dead and damaged hair so I kept using. I liked the way it made my hair feel so I just put up with the hair loss. My hair loss is not as great as some of you like bald spots but handfuls of hair and all over my clothes and pillows. I could run my hand through my hair and have a handful since I stopped using it I no longer have that. I just canceled my account today. Cathy in Pennsylvania

I've been getting WEN for a few years now and noticed that my hair was thinning in some areas, but didn't associate it to WEN because I rarely used it. I have a bald spot in the front of my head and thinning hair in the back. The Dermatologist doesn't know what is causing the hair loss and as long as I was using WEN two or three times each month my hair continued to get thin. Now that I stopped all together the bald spot is still there but isn't spreading. I have a lot of WEN that I haven't used and now I am afraid to use it.

wen is not a cleanser therefore causes fungus on head which leads to hairloss.bad odor on my head after 3 months of use hair all over me and house found blistering red inflammation at nape of neck hairline travling upward to top of head. now that I have the allergy from the fungus ive realized cannot use shampoos with parafen causes inflammation to reoccur anything without keeps it at bay.they need to be sued and forced to restructure theyre claims.its a conditioner that's all.

I have used Wen Products for approximately two years. I have found that I am also losing hair during washing and combing. The problem is that I am not a young person and thought that the lose was normal at 70 years old. I have never seen so much lose going on. The positive side is that this product does make my hair soft (including the whites and grays) and is so easy to not have to use two products to do my hair in the shower. I do not have soars on my head nor bald spots yet. I may just return the product that I did just purchase and try to use alternate shampoo and conditioner until the one that is open is finished. I also have had the same thing happening with regular shampoo and conditioners. I also do not color my hair any more so possibly regular shampoo will word again for me.

I'm glad other people had same problem as I did. My scalp broke out, had sores. Hair fell out, got so thin I have to tease and comb over. Yes they sent me refund but doesn't take away from the hair loss. I'm glad I found this out early on and didn't keep using this product. I'm proud of all the women that came forward to stand up for the rest of us.

I was using Wen fig formula off and on for a few months while I cared for my parents during their final days. I didn't have much time for myself so Wen seemed to be perfect - quick & complete. Since then I've lost so much hair that I'm now wearing wigs! After thyroid & other lab testing showed normal levels my physician diagnosed slope is areata and recommended dermatologist for steroid injections. I have huge completely bald spots plus thinning everywhere else. Over 3 months I endured very painful injections in my scalp with no results. I just couldn't take that pain and no hair appeared so I chose to stop. Hence the wigs. This had been a terrible experience - I didn't realize what was happening because I was so focused on my parents. When I finally combed my hair while looking back in the mirror I was devastated! Now I hear about this Wen situation experienced by so may others! At least I now have an answer - I just hope my hair returns - it has been about 5 months and I'm building a wig wardrobe because I have no hair! I am so drained by this whole situation and now I see I'm not alone - we Wen users have a lot of hair distress in common.

Hi everyone, so sorry to hear about your bad experiences with this product. I am a 58 year old retired cosmetologist who went to beauty school when I was just 15 years old. Even back then we were taught about pH levels of the skin, hair, and hair care products. I can't imagine why Chaz indicates in his commercial that his product does not strip natural oils from the hair because we're trained to know that alkaline in a product is what causes the shampoo to lather up; clearly in his commercials the product lathers up. We also are instructed that the alkaline in the product does strip natural oils and body odor but is common in shampoos and the best you can do is to try to hit the 4.5 neutral level. The Redken Corporation in the seventies came out with a shampoo that had a very low alkaline level and as a result did not lather up as customers were used to and therefore customers were not crazy about the product. It wasn't that the product was no good, it's that we, as consumers, are conditioned to expect a soapy lather from our shampoos. And the heavy scents that are often added to the product are not necessarily good for your skin and hair but people expect it. The other thing that surprised me greatly was Chaz adding the round bristle blow dry brush into the package. Very few hair stylists will even use those brushes because they tear the hair apart. I have to wonder about this guy, honestly...is he even a real hairstylist? My recommendation to all of you is to use a tried and true product. It will save you money and heartache in the long run.

Wen Hair Care shampoo products

I agree, this line of products is awful, the claims are misleading. the stuff just does not work. he may be a great hairdresser, he may have a "pretty face", but do you really think you can scam the people by selling a product that is BS. we are not that dumb. Its an insult that that stuff is on the market.

What a fraud. This company will set you up with a subscription even if you opt out. I bought once and now I have 3 charges on my Amex.
Called to return and they said I still had an account balance. I told them I only placed one order and I will be informing Amex of their shady business. The lady even tried to tell me my account would go to a collection agency hahah what a SCAM

I was a customer of Wen Hair products for over a year. Over time I noticed a lot of breakage. I've had 3 hair stylists tell me that there's a lot of protein in these products which actually can make your hair brittle and start snapping off. This is why I cancelled my account in Oct of 2011. Today is Jan 10th 2012 and they still have not credited my account for the product a total of 79.87. I have called them 6 times requesting a refund for the product they received on November 2 2011. All they are doing is giving me the run around. They state refunds will apply to your account anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks but in this case its been 12 weeks. BEWARE is all I have to say.

This product is terrible and a total waste of your time and money. They advertise “free” shipping but that does not apply if you return it. You not only have to pay the receiving shipping charges but you pay dearly (twice as much) to send back empty bottles. It’s a total rip off, you end up getting back about 20% of your purchase price and that’s after 3 phone calls to the company asking for it! She asked me why I didn’t like it and I told them the smell was very bad, so of course she said they had a better smelling type, yeah right. She just kept going on and on trying to avoid the fact that I wanted a refund and for everything I said I didn’t like about the product, she had a solution. By the way, there was absolutely no difference in my hair.
I wish I given this company a dime…

Wen Hair Care ingredient

I was prepared to purchase the product when I read a complaint posting that I could purchase on Amazon. Amazon provided the ingredients. You should know that two of the products are concerning. This is what I found out about these products. Buyer beware.

Safety Data
A 1992 study found that when methylisothiazolinone and methylchloroisothiazolinone (MI/MCI) are administered orally, they are then excreted in urine and feces and mostly not stored in body tisuses.[7] However, when applied to the skin, up to 62% of the chemicals stayed bound to the application site 24 hours after exposure, and the chemicals bound to the skin had a 13.1-day half-life. Furthermore, the study found that "MI/MCI was moderately to highly toxic to rats, and highly toxic to rabbits when administered orally, and moderately toxic when applied dermally." The study tested the toxicity in rats, mice, rabbits, and dogs at various doses, applied orally or dermally. The study concluded that: "Methylisothiazolinone/Methylchloroisothiazolinone may be safely used in “rinse-off” products at a concentration not to exceed 15 ppm and in “leave-on” cosmetic products at a concentration not to exceed 7.5 ppm. The stated safe use concentration refers to a mixture containing 23.3% Methylisothiazolinone and 76.7% Methylchloroisothiazolinone."

Wen Hair Care Hidden &Membership&

So I ordered the 30 day supply to TRY this product and you are forced into a "membership" so they can keep charging your card! They said they already sent me the new product so i have to return that before i get my refund. SO MAD! My papers I recieved do not say anything about automatically sending new product and charging the card. i had to go digging into the terms and conditions online in order to find the itty bitty fine print that says by ordering you opt into automatically getting the product sent monthly! The product itself made my fine hair feel dirty all the time and like a waxy wire feeling, its gross... DO NOT BUY

Just to make it clear http://www.wenhaircare.com is NOT WEN company it is a marketing company that they use. I have heard bad things as well but I have never had a problem cancelling. I too used it and it did not work and now I have been using it for three days and my hair looks amazing and I have had so many compliments on it! There is a difference in formula and not all work for everyones hair. I am using the Winter Vanilla Mint. Here is what is on the page when you order the $29.95 introdcutory shipment, not saying that you did not read it but many people are just in a hurry to order and don't read all of this where it says you will be on autoship and it is even in bold letters.
Product description QTY CLUB PRICE

WEN® Healthy Hair Care System - Sweet Almond 30-Day Supply. WHEN YOU ORDER TODAY, YOU'LL RECEIVE TWO FREE GIFTS AND FREE SHIPPING! Starting 30 days from your order date, you'll receive a new 90-Day supply every 3 months at the guaranteed low price of just $29.95 per month plus $8.99 S&H per shipment, which will conveniently be charged to the card you provide today unless you call to cancel. There is no commitment and no minimum to buy. To customize this program or future shipments and charges, call customer service anytime. Every WEN® purchase includes a 60-day money-back guarantee of the purchase price less shipping and handling.
I really love the system and it was the only thing that saved my hair that was totally damaged from extensions my last stylist used and did not tell me they were GLUE! We had to cut many of them out and my hair is already looking 90% better after three cleansing's with WEN! If you want to try again, like I said, order from qvc.com - don't use the wen haircare site. they have better deals anyways.

HEY, I LIVE ON A SMALL BUDGET AND COULD ONLY AFFORD THIS ON THIS PAST CHRISTMAS OF '11 FOR MY 14 YEAR OLD, AND WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT THIS MEMBERSHIP SHOULD NOT BE JUJUST IN SMALL, FINE PRINT. THEY SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THE CONSUMER UNDERSTANDS THAT THEY WILL BE CHARGED MORE FOR 60 - 90 DAYS ADDITIONALLY AND CONTINUALLY UNTIL THEY ACTUALLY CANCEL. US CONSUMERS WERE DUPED BY WEN. THERE IS NOT A WORD OF IT ON THE ADS. IF THEIR IS, I APOLOGIZE. BUT THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME. THE FIRST TIME I ORDERED IT WAS YEARS AGO, WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS VERY YOUNG. I THOUGHT THIS WOULD HELP ME TO GET MY HAIR HEALTHIER. I WAS A FAIRLY NEW MOM OF 2 ( I ALSO HAVE A SON 11 MONTHS OLDER THAN HER) I HAD DRY HAIR FROM PREGNANCIES. WEN NEVER HELPED ME AT ALL-EXCEPT TO OVER CHARGE ME. I WAS SO DISSAPOINTED. PLUS I HAD TO PAY TO SEND IT BACK AND THEN OTHER NEW CHARGES. THEY LOST ME. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. MY POOR FINANCES AND 14 YEAR OLD TEENAGER. OH WELL.

This is not true. When you order the product from wen haircare it tells you in the fine print that you will be starting a membership that you can cancel at any time! On the letter in your initial shipment at the bottom it also states the date of your next shipment and tells you that you can cancel the auto shipment or you can change the dates and the amounts to suit your needs. I get so angry at people that put this great company down because THEY don't read the information that is sent to them! That is the consumers fault for not reading the information before agreeing to it and when the initial first shipment arrives. I have never had a problem cancelling auto shipment immediately. I order from QVC to get the larger size that wenhaircare.com does not offer.

Wen Hair Care Scammers

I wouldn't buy anything from that fairy because, as far as I know, he has no degree on anything. I have seen the commercial and it's a joke. I feel sorry for the people who fell for that scam though. Just looking at the black woman was enough for me, she looks like she has a Brillo pad the size of a zeppelin. If you want a good shampoo, I recommend Fructis.

Wen Hair Care Charged My Account Without Authorization!

I ordered the product on January 1st to try it out, then stopped any future shipments on Jan 13th until August 2011. Well, on May 13th, almost $50 was charged to my account without my authorization -- and hadn't even received product -- and DON'T WANT TO RECEIVE PRODUCT! I called and they don't know why it was charged, and as of a week later, have still not removed the charge from my account. You're only given 1 phone number to call [protected], and the supervisor doensn't seem to be available. The first time I called, it sounded like the rep was answering from his bed! -- There is definitely some fraudulent practices going on here and needs to be reported to the attorney general's office of each state!

Wen Hair Care Stay away

Ordered Wen about 3 weeks ago. Started looking up the ingredients. The styling cream alone has Polyacrylamide and the building block of this is a human nerve toxin. Under the impression that we were receiving just natural ingredients. I am canceling today and I will keep looking for something that is not harmful. It also did not make my hair look the way it was portrayed in commercial. I have dry frizzy hair but not only did the product not make my hair unfrizzy but it has words in the ingredients that I can not even pronounce. I looked up a couple of the ingredients and they are not friendly to humans. I will not order this product again. I am very disappointed in the ingredients.

I just did some investigating on this Polyacrylamide and according to Wikipedia this is what it said about this item being a toxin. "Concerns have been raised that polyacrylamide used in agriculture may contaminate food with acrylamide, a known neurotoxin. While polyacrylamide itself is relatively non-toxic, it is known that commercially available polyacrylamide contains minute residual amounts of acrylamide remaining from its production, usually less than 0.05% w/w." It also states that this item is used in the making of soft contact lenses. If it were dangerous, I doubt that they would allow this to be used in the making of something that you would put in yr eye.

Wen Hair Care No results

I ordered the intro package and used it regularly as directed and ran out quickly (I have long thick hair). Once I received my 90 day package I began using it immediately with hopes that over time and being consistent would lead to the advertised results. Well it has been almost 3 months and I can say there have been no results- I am going to call this week and cacel so I don't receive any more shipments. Also I am looking into www.keratinearth.com to see how that product works. I have very dry, overprocessed, and damaged long and thick hair and am looking to tame it. As for my neutral position you get what you pay for and tv offers are always a risk.

Wen Hair Care Horrible stuff

This stuff is horrible it i have very thick long hair, i figured i'd give this a try it made my rppts so greasy i was too grossed out to run my fingers thru my hair and my end were so dry they felt like hay my once beautiful shiny healthy hair was ruined in a matter of weeks by this *** product. you know whats an amazing shampoo and conditioner? aveeno active NATURALES. i didint see any sulfate in the ingredients either. aveeno has restored my hair plus it seriously moisterized my ends and made my roots soft anf fluffy with serious volume. i mean the *** infomercial shows them using wen on a model and then STYLING her hair with a blowdryer where as the other models hair is just air dried ya compared to that it looks great but it is crap save a BUNCH of money and buy the aveeno products they will do wonders with your hair and with the extra money you save you can buy yourself a gold star for making a better decision :)

REALLY? CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD? BAD INDEED. I ORDERED THE 30 DAY SUPPLY AND BECAUSE THEY HAVE MY CC. # THEY WENT AHEAD AND CHARGED ME AGAIN. SO I CALLED THEIR CS AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAVE TO SEND IT BACK (PAY SHIPPING). CANCELING MY CC IS A BIG HASSLE FOR ME AND COSTS ME JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR CHARGE. I HAVE 2 KIDS AND CANNOT AFFORD TO WAIT FOR MY DEBIT CARD TO HAVE A NEW NUMBER TO BE ABLE TO WORK AGAIN. THIS SUCKS!

Wen Hair Care Avoid this website at all costs

I was going to re-order Wen in a different scent, but they beat me to it! I was so steamed I practically spit through the phone at the customer service agent. I have a copy of my original order confirmation for a 30-day supply. Nothing more. The agent claims their website states that if they dont' hear from you, they will continue to ship you the product and charge your credit card. This is tantamount to stealing my credit card. I asked for a confirmation showing I had agreed to this process and they said they couldn't provide one. I'm fairly sure this is illegal--to charge my credit card when I didn't authorize it. You should know that if you choose to order this product from Chaz Dean, Amazon or elsewhere, you won't be part of this scam, but the money is still going to Chaz Dean who is scamming people.

They billed twice for one shipment in one day. There's got to be something that can be done about this unscruplous company. I also tried to cancel and they "postponed" until May 2017 (supposedly). I also received a collection notice saying I owed a certain amount, then I called and they said the amount was different. The bill came from Guthy-Renker. If there is anything good about the product it's over-shadowed by the fact that both Wen and Guthy Renker seem to be unscrupulous companies.

WEN haircare is a horrible company. We bought it ONCE. We have since been sent product and charged without our approval for three more subsequent months. We have called to cancel after each charge. EVERYTIME we were given a conformation of cancellation that our order had been canceled. I call again and they give me some bologna excuse as to why it wasn't canceled. In the fine print it says something that allows them to do this. THIS COMPANY IS UNETHICAL PLEASE DON'T BUY THEIR PRODUCT!

Wen Hair Care Greasy Hair

Wen makes my hair extremely greasy after a couple uses. If I use other shampoo/conditioner for a few days and then use when twice a week, it seems fine, but to use Wen for everyday use, my hair looks like it hasn't been washed in days. Even a coworker asked if I was even washing my hair. Not good! Also, this same person ran her fingers through my hair, and although she said it was soft, she noticed her fingers were oily and smelled like grease. I like to use it one or two times a week because it will make it shiny and it has a mentholatum feel on your scalp, but I cannot use it everyday or I would look like a grease monkey.

I am so glad that someone else is having the same problem with Wen that I am. I couldn't agree with you more. Wen is good to use maybe once a week but otherwise I think I'll stick to my regular shampoo and conditioner for my regular washes. Wen started out making my hair look great the first month, but now the roots feel so greasy and my hair looks like I haven't washed it in days. I think it's on conditioner overdrive and needs shampoo!

Wen Hair Care Scam, $200! For 90 days, watch your credit card bill carefully!

I order the Wen Hair Care System and was pleased with the way it worked, until I started noticing all the charges on my credit card account. I was billed twice a month and received a 90 day supply! It ended up costing me over $250. for 90 days of shampoo! I will try the Shampoo 1 from Sally's Beauty Supply. I have seen good reviews and I am just really tired of being screwed and not being kissed! Wen Hair Care is a huge scam! They even say there were 2 accounts with my name on them, shipping to another address! Are they going to credit my account? I doubt it! It is a scam!

Seriously people if you have issues with charges being made to your credit card call your credit card company and they will take care of them. Like if your not smart enough to know this you seriously have no business having a card much less making charges on it!

If you have issues with the amounts charged to your card call your credit card company and they will take care of it! Its is pretty much as simple as that! Seriously don't you all know that if you charge something to your credit card you are protected with each and every purchase!

I totally agree with you! This company is not honest with their customers. When I cancelled my last order and did as they instructed and returned the unused products. They did not reimburse me. I was afraid to call them to enquire about my refund because I thought, they have my credit card number and they could send me more products that I don't want and charge my credit card and there is not much I could do. I am just glad that they are not sending me any more of their crap!

Wen Hair Care Products caused hair loss and damage

I have thick/coarse dark blonde hair and I get highlights / lowlights regularly. Dryness & frizz is always an issue and I was optimistic that wen would help. I used their products for about three months.

When I first started using them I was very pleased with the results, but after about two months I wasn't getting the same favorable results. I thought maybe I was having a weird case of "bad winter hair"...maybe it was due to some female hormone change...maybe what?

I am accustomed to shedding hair but I noticed I started shedding A LOT in the shower(more than usual.) Also, I was cleaning my brushes a lot and it was hard to keep them hair free (a personal pet peeve of mine.) I looked around my bathroom one day and it hit me suddenly - my hair was everywhere.

Next, brushes started getting stuck and tangled in my hair, which only happened very rarely before using wen, now it happens nearly every time I brush my hair. Just brushing my hair causes it to break :(

My hair length was below my shoulders when I began using wen's products. Last week I asked my hair stylist to cut off whatever she needed to - to get back to healthy hair. She cut off 3 to 4 inches, and my brush still gets tangled and breaks.

I don't know why it took me so long to realize wen was damaging my hair. I am back to using Aveda's Smooth Infusion line; it is a much better product for my hair type and I know this from years of my own experience.

As far as the scheduled shipments and the whole club kit program, 1) I always thought that was lame, 2) I just canceled today so I'll follow up with how that works out.

I had been using Wen years with no problem then in Nov 2015 I noticed that my hair was coming out a LOT in my brush. At first I thought that it was because I had been in the hospital for about 2 weeks and on a lot of meds for about 2 months afterwards. Wen use to make my hair feel likes baby's hair. Shiny, manageable too Then as I mentioned in Nov 2015 my hair began to fall out. My hair got very dull looking and frizzy, would not take a curl. The only way that I can describe it now is witchy looking. I stopped coloring my hair. My best friend who happens to be a hair stylist looked at my hair and she could not believe it! It looks burned, feels burned and yet with the exception of maybe two/three times I let my hair dry naturally now since November. Since nothing has changed in way I have taken care of my hair, it has to be the WEN. Asked my dr. if It could have been the meds, she said no. As soon as I feel better, I will be getting my hair cut short in the hopes that I will no longer lose anymore hair. We shall see!

I used Wen cleansing conditioner for about 6 weeks. At first I thought the hair loss was from a medication I stopped taking about a month earlier. I really thought I was doing something good for my hair, and that Wen would make my hair healthier, and start growing back. Was I ever wrong. I get handfuls of hair every time I wash or brush it. 5 days ago I Googled "hair loss" and found there are so many others like me! I stopped using ii immediately. I have lost about 1/2 of my hair in 6 weeks, and it is still coming out. This has been a very scary experience, and I haven't tried to cancel future orders, return a 3 month supply, or tackle the automatic billing to my credit card yet. From what I have heard from others that will be a nightmare, and may cause me to pull what I have left out! Maybe I should keep the product I have to shave my legs with, would like that hair to fall out!

I'm frightened to death after reading all of this. Me and my husband tried Wen yesterday before knowing about hairloss. We both had a significant amount of hair come out. My hair was like straw after using it, and I had to put some of the Wen in my hair as a leave in conditioner in order for it to feel normal again. Now I am scared to death to wash with regular shampoo because I am afraid of the condition my hair will be in afterwards. I am returning it all and will never use it again.

I knew I wasn't crazy. I use to have thick healthy hair. Have been using Wen for about 2 years now. I have thinning hair and a bald patch at the back of my head. Hmm so sad. We should be refunded at the least.

had the worsdt hair experience EVER! I have never seen so much hair fall out in the shower. It looked like that scary movie "the ring" when the girl comes out of the tv. I only used it twice and was scared to use it anymore for fear I would develop a bald spot. Maybe the commercials should show the sink so we can see how much hair should be falling out after each use.

Yeah, this stuff is a total scam. Ordered the month supply for $35 back in November and to date have been charged almost $250...I called them and they state I signed up for this 90 day program and that it is very obvious on the website that is what I was signing up for. Um, no, it was NOT obvious - I would have never ordered it to try it out in the first place had I seen they were trying to get $250 bucks out of me! This sucks! And the product isn't that great...I didn't have any hair loss with it the first month I used it, but it just didn't do it for me. In fact, I have 2 boxes of unopened stuff that I plan to try to return. This ### is a total rip off - don't trust anyone these days!

I had ordered Wen products about a year ago and decided not to use it when I became pregnant and I'm glad I did. I called to cancel and the customer service lady was very rude! She wanted to know why I wanted to cancel be fore I used the product. I told her I didn't want to try anything new when I was pregnant. After going back and forth explaining myself she finally cancelled my order. I've since had my baby and decided to try the product. I have used it for about 4 months now and have noticed clumps and clumps of hair falling out. I thought it was my hormones, but I didn't loose this much with my first baby. I asked my mother who is also using Wen if she was experienceing any hair loss and she said YES! Our hair is falling out in the shower, on the floor, in her our hands and are brushes are full daily. The products does make our hair soft, but it's not worth loosing are hair for it. We are discontinuing the use of this product. I was ready glad to see that others and the same results and made my decesion easier to stop odering this expensive product.

I have the same experience I used it three times and then ordered more. After the third use my hair was so tangled I literally sat there bawling trying to get the tangles out. I finally had to just rip my snarles out of my hair. I even used pantene and several other conditioners trying to get the snarls out. A friend pointed out this link to me and I cried and cried. My hair is beautiful long natural curly hair. Everyone always commented about it. Now it is broken off and horrid. The new bottle is unopened, I ordered it off Chaz Deans website. Im sending it back. Here is a photo of how much hair I lost on the third and final time that I used Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner. Im going back to Pantene and Im sticking with it. I am not lying to you this photo is all the hair that came out of my brush on my third use.

Wen Hair Care Scam

This is a complete scam! I ordered the product and then tried to cancel the next day. I was told by the customer service department that they hadn't processed my information yet, and it could take up to 48 hours. I checked my bank account that same day and the charges had already come out. I called them back, demanding to speak to a supervisor, which I never got because they were all "busy'. The customer service rep told me that once the order had shipped they could not cancel the order, and I would have to return the product once I received it. However, after reading all of these complaints it appears they don't make good on their promise of refund anyway. I went to the bank (immediately) and canceled my debit card, to make sure they couldn't continue to bill me. However, I'm upset that I paid for this crap that I may never even receive. If I do get it, I'm hesitant to even try it, because of the reports that it causes your hair to fall out and redness on your scalp and neck. Live and learn, I'll never order anything online again without checking all reviews and complaints.

Once purchased, you are signed up for automatic payments that are difficult/impossible to cancel. I specifically asked about any additional requirements and/or shipments prior to purchase and was told that there would be none and that I would have no obligation. This is a complete Scam. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM WEN, VIA TV OR QVC AS THEY HAVE NO INTEGRITY AND DO NOT DESERVE YOUR MONEY. Shame on you Chaz.

My son asked for this for Christmas so I ordered it, now this month I see a charge on my credit card for 44.95 which is not even their monthly amount. I called up and told them I never asked for reaccuring delivery and that I do not even use the product. She told me I would have to cancelle my subscription that I never subscribed to. Then when I get the package I would have to take it to the post office, ask them to do a return to sender with tracking so that I could track the package and then wait four to eight weeks for a refund. Really she then went on to tell me the package was shipped from the post office yesterday. Well hello yesterday was a federal holiday and the post office was not even open so how is that even possible. I am now disputing this charge with my bank and am still waiting on my cancellation email that she said would already be in my email. This company is a rip off and just out to make money. Think twice before you even place an order for just one item.

MY HAIR IS DIRTY AFTER 2 DAYS, , , SOFT AT THE BEGINNING, BUT BECAUSE I HAVE COLORED MY HAIR EVERY MONTH FOR MANY YEARS, SOME DAYS AFTER BECOMES HARD AND BRITTLE, , , I STILL HAVE TO USE OTHER PRODUCTS TO MAKE IT SOFT, ... EVEN USING THEIR MASK WHICH SEEMS TO BE FOR TRATED HAIR! i AM A BIT DISSAPOINTED WITH WEN, THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE THE SOLUTION TO MY HAIR PROBLEM, , , , i WOULD LIKE TO CONTACT SOMEBODY FROM THE COMPANY TO SEE WHAT CAN I DO TO IMPROVE THE CONDITION OF MY HAIR, AS THEY ADVERTISE IN THEIR COMMERCIAL, YOU WILL NEVER USE AGAIN OTHER PRODUCTS AND SPEND LOTS OF MONEY!, , ,

I DON'T THINK I WILL USE IT AGAIN AFTER FINISIHING THE BOTTLE...MAYBE IT WORKS BETTER ON HAIR THAT IS NOT TREATED, MORE NATURAL, , AS FOR EXAMPLE MY HUSBAND WHO IS EXTREMELY HAPPY USING IT AND IT WORKS FINE ON HIS HAIR, , , , , i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF SOMEBODY ELSE WHO COLORS THEIR HAIR EXPERIENCES THE SAME PROBLEMS AS i IDO?

I've been using wen for a little over a year now..I bought it through qvc..I have to say I am shocked by the comments here. I have never had a problem at all with any of chaz's products and I have tried four different types. I have bought single shipments and auto shipments, and when I wanted to cancel my auto shipment on the one hair type I didn't feel was for me I had no problem at all. It is a little pricey but when you factor in the cost of shampoo, conditioner, mouse or gel you spend the same per month. Hope this helps. Kat P.
