I have been fortunate to make several purchases this past year thru Wholesale Hunter and every one of them were great experiences. First of all their wide range and inventory of merchandise is outstanding, IF they don't have it you probably don't need it. If you need specific information about something they answer emails very expediently. Also from the time you place an order they constantly update you with tracking info,eta, etc. Also, in spite of c19, weather and other crisis that has caused a surge in orders and delay in delivery, they have gotten my orders to me in very reasonable time. And unlike many other vendors Wholesale Hunter's prices have remained lower than the scalpers and gouges. They are thieves!
They are thieves! And utterly lacking in any customer service skills. I am reporting them to their states governing bodies. I purchased ammunition from them. One pack of rounds defective. They claimed I would have to contact the manufacture. I have done that and also reported them to Winchester. Claimed I had jammed the ammunition. I am a Marine! Second batch of ammo never arrived. They claimed they did not know when it would arrive. I cancelled the order. They charged me $5.00 restocking fee for ammo I never received and did not refund me the taxes they charged and nor the shipping for an item they never shipped. Last time I checked that is considered theft. Not sure why they are still in business? When I questioned them on this they said they would refund an additional $4? Refused to send me an email with their calculation when I questioned this amount. Then said they are not refunding and hung up the phone. Who does this? Thieves! That's who.

A very bad experience with this company
A very bad experience with this company. I bought an item for $112.49 and paid for it the same day on April 9th. It said they could be running 2-8 days behind in their ad. I followed up via email on April 15th and the replied they could be running 8-16 days behind.. I followed up via phone April 24th and inquired about the status and the customer service person said it should be out next week probably by mid-week but definitely by end of week. I called again May 1st to cancel my order because they had not shipped it out. I was refunded $101.25 the same day which I appreciate. I called in the afternoon of 5/1 to discuss the discrepancy of what I paid and what was returned. The person said an item had been allocated to me and a cancellation fee was warranted because they pay fees on gunbroker. Then either I was hung up on it disconnected. I completely understand return fees and re-stocking fees for returned items. Also, I know the have a cancellation policy, but they did not deliver the product per the terms. Also, the charged me 10% of the items cost including shipping and tax. It's not about $11 it is the principle. You have to ask yourself as a consumer why wouldn't a company operate in good faith. All they had to do was communicate or tell me the item was back-ordered. I should have received a full refund because they did not fulfill the obligation to deliver my goods in a timely manner or communicate otherwise. They have good prices and a lot of their consumers are satisfied. I hope this company can learn from this feedback and improve their operational procedures and communications.

Horrible Experience
Horrible Experience. Ordered a set of Grips for $75 for my handgun. They received the payment but did not ship the item until almost 2 weeks later. The reason why, is because they didn't have the item and it was shipped from another company. They are in Alabama, item was shipped from Illinois. They listed the item, knowing they did not have it. After finally receiving the item, I installed the grips on the gun to find that the fit was bad, and had sharp edges that cut into my hand. It also prohibited the use of speedloaders. Understand, I own two exact sets of these grips on similar guns, where this is not the case. I did Gunsmithing work for most of my life. Something was wrong. And at the price of the grips, you should expect proper fit and use. This is not the norm for such accessories, and I took great care installing and removing the grips, and putting them back in the original packaging. I requested a return and refund, but got nothing but the run around. The Customer "Assistance" (LOL) person also manipulated the use of words and reasoning for the return in order to throw it all back on me, as if it were my fault. Then told me to take it up with the manufacturer. Well, the Manufacturer didn't list and sell me the item. Wholesale Hunter did. They listed it, even though they didn't have it. They sold it and collected the money. So there was no effort on their part. But refused a return, obviously because now they would have to deal with another seller who shipped the item. This is a terrible business practice that left me holding the defective item and them holding the money. I buy a lot of gear, a lot... and I think I've tried to return maybe 2 items to on-line sellers in over 15 years. I can guarantee you that I will never purchase any more of that gear from this company in the future. AND, I will tell my customers, friends, fellow competition shooters and hunters to avoid them also.
