We went to Wienerschnitzel on Arden Way in Sacramento Ca. Today for lunch. When we got there 1 family was inside and two cars were in the drivethrough. The family that was inside had already placed their order as we walked through the door. I stood waiting in line and it took over 5 minutes before the "Team Manager" came to take my order. When he came up to the counter i was in the middle of a sentence with the family that had been there before us, rather than waiting for me to finish my sentence he said what can i get you in a petulant tone. I finished my sentence which took less than 10 seconds then turned to him to place my order. At that point the "Team Manager" said yeah, whatever and walked away. About 3 minutes later he walked back over and finally took my order. I ordered jalapeno poppers and asked if that came with ranch dressing to which he replied that every order comes with ranch. Over the next ten minutes he managed to take the orders of my 2 companions. (It's important to note that in this time frame only 1 additional car came through the drive through and one additional customer came through the door) He managed to take all three of our orders without once making eye contact. Our bags were placed on a back counter without the benefit of heat lights while they waited for additional items to be prepared which over the ten minutes or so the food sat there ensured that the food was cold when we got it. After finally recieving our order i checked to ensure that my entire order was present and was surprised to notice the small amount of Ranch Dressing that I had recieved. In a 1 1/2 ounce container they had filled less than a 1/4 full was my dressing. I kindly asked for more Ranch at which point I was informed it would be $0.32 cents. I paid my additional money and recieved another container which was less than 1/4 full and was fairly upset. My companions also were stunned. One of my companions opened her Chili Cheese Fries and you could not see any chili on the fries whatsoever. There was a slight reddish tint in the middle of the pile of fries. She requested that they put a little Chili on her Chili Cheese Fries and was informed that that would also be an additional charge as they had already put chili on it. Apparently they put 2 oz on the chili. (I have ordered the chili cheese fries in the past and have always been able to see the chili on the fries) So she paid the additional fee and got more chili. I should note here that they did give her a fair amount of chili at this point.
As a longtime employee of WIenerschnitzel's for over 20 years. I can see both sides of the complaint. I do Wienerschintzel's as a "hobby" on weekends to fund my computer building. I'm an Engineering Tech by trade. I can say that Wienerschnitzel's has a very high turnover rate. The franchise owners too are constantly changing. I had 13 different owers over my career. The owner dictates what to charge for and how much you get. At my store, we only charge if you want a side item. If your order comes with it we gladly give you extra at no charge. If you look you'll notice that the A-frame stores usually only have two employees and rarely more than four. Where I work at night only two til midnight. Not only do they need to make the orders but do all the chores and have a clean store before they leave. I have gone 6 hours straight on most days without a break. As for the chili, they make it by hand --chopped meat and all. It sounds like they put too much water in the mix. When that happens, I add a couple extra scoops. Coorporate demands there be a manager on site at all times so the person is sometimes drafted as the manager of the shift and given a shirt. If I was in a full rush I can only give each customer only a 20 seconds before having to run to the next front to take an order. To have the manager wait for you to finish a conversation hurts other customers wanting to order or prevents the person from helping the cook. I had this happen many times. I was on hold for up to 3 minutes while a customer was in the drive-thru on the cellphone. The cashier even has to mentally calculate the change and with the old regeister key some thing up to 5 buttons for the items. The windows are too low and if you're over 6 ft you really have to been over to take orders. Cooperate needs to wake up and listen to the employees but they don't so I with things will change but until Donald Tase retires they won't. Sorry for your bad experience.
I went to the store at 1825 Highland, Natl. City on 2/22 at 7:30. No one was in sight so after waiting a while, I asked if anyone was taking orders tonight. The man at the grill heard me and said he would find her. A moment later, this young girl came out of the back and yelled,"WHAT THE ###, I WAS ON THE TOILET, ### ! Then her and the other girl that was with her started laughing.
I guess it was my fault for going there and expecting to order food. I will never make that choice again at your "restaurant" and I will strongly advise anybody that will listen to do the same!
I can't believe that you put up with this kind of action and expect to make money.
you people whine too much.
Need better costumer service with responsibilities...
What happened? You're not saying anything but giving an opinion.
Person mopping floors ended up serving with no gloves. Got sick within hours...
I think the 15 cent hot dogs is great but one per person really? So if u live in a poor city have no car . U except a mother or father to walk with their kids in the rain for one hot dog because that's all they get for 15 cents . At least make it 2 or 3 god think of the poor !
IT'S UNFAIR !
Oh, man, I used to work at the National City Wienerschnitzel. It's sad to see that the store I used to work at, has gone down in services and the quality of the food. When I used to work there, we were fast, the the food was great. We were busy at the time. But, we all managed to get it all done. It's so sad now. Yeah, the owners of the National City store are bunch of [censored] bags.
The last 3 times I went to the Santee, CA, weinerschnitzel there was hardly any chili on my hot dog so i went up to counter to ask that they put more on it. I was told they would have to charge me for "extra"! I told the guy that there was hardly any on it to begin with n he said "we only put 1 ounce on every hot dog". I used to go in here 2-4 times a month n they look nothing like the pictures advertised on display! WE PAY MORE & GET LESS NOW! I will NOT be going back again n very disappointed that they can't satisfy their customers with one more "little scoop"!
On 05/16/2018 @7:48 my family & I visited store #343 & purchsed 4 milkshakes. I was unsatisfied with the way my shakes were made . I've bought the banana split milkshake twice prior to this day & never received one that was made unsatisfying as today.

On 11/7/18 I went through the drive through at their Milwaukee and 82nd address in Lubbock TX. I clearly told them not to put cheese on our food as we are severely lactose intolerant. When I got home, it had cheese all over it. Yes I should have checked it when I was there but they are usually correct. Well not this time.
employees touching their faces, no gloves...touch buns, pickles, and wieners with fingers.

I showed up to a Wienerschnitzel at 6:45pm here in Lubbock, Tx to eat in side and the had 5 employees there. They told me that they where only doing drive thru only. This isn’t the first time that this location has done that to me during the work hours.
