I am doing full caps to warn everyone... Do not use wiki tree. Instead use legacy 10 download, free! onto your desktop. Free version is really good and you can upgrade to the $35 version at any time. Put all of your original work into legacy. Do not put too much information into wilitree. They cannot be trusted. They lis when tjey say id a community collaberation. As for them saying they are the most accurate because it is policy that there be sources for each person that is set up. I asked one of these guys why he put his initials with a link to his personal wikitree page. He told me it was to let people know that he did the work. But it was my work. When wikitree bans you, they take all of your work from you. You have no access to do anything in wikitree. You cannot even download ged. Cim file. They steal people's family again, all caps is shout warning. Any one else banned file a complaint with atty general better business bureau federal trade commission even though it is... $15 hour comes to about $5000. The bullies brag about how they have degrees and tell people like me that we are not real genealogists. We may make a few mistakes, but after so many years, watching hundreds of how to videos, and... Wikitree makes $5-10 million a year. They trick people into thinking it is a great community collaboration. It is not a collaberation when people get banned after doing so much work. No one can say anything without worrying about getting banned. Wikitree gets all the data for free and volunteer admins do all the sh.. Work that wikitree cannot be bothered with. How do they make so much money? possibly selling private info to china? russia? if anyone says anything or asks for help, the volunteer admins make up wikitree violations. They took a way from me all of my original work. They will not let me download my work/ family tree onto my computer. Wikitree makes $10 million a year. I it seems great at first bring free and all. It is not free and ends up

Avoid this site like the plague! It's very corrupt and their management team conceals their names! (Don't let them fool you. There is absolutely a management team, but they hide behind "the community"). If one of the "leaders" decides to block or remove your account (which they do often), there is no appeals process, and no names of anyone to even appeal to. You'd have to complain or appeal to the same people who unfairly took your account over. Shady organization that will takeover your account, your personal information, and even your DNA information. They should really be shut down.

wikitree.com is a really good website. The layout is easy to use and it's simple to find what you're looking for. However, the people who run the site can be pretty mean. If you don't do what they say, they'll kick you off the site. It's not fair because sometimes they're wrong and you're right. But that's just how it is.

Overall, I would recommend using wikitree.com if you're interested in genealogy. Just be careful not to upset the mods or you might get banned.
