I purchased a swing set less than a year ago and they will not honor their warranty for rotting wood which is supposed to be 10 years. I tried to contact the maker but they say Willy Goat needs to replace it and they won't. They are not an honest business. I should have gone to my local Toys R Us or Walmart instead. I can send pictures if anyone is interested.

I would not recommend Willy Goat; seriously do not buy from here. Gal with Willy Goat is the worst; very disorganized and unprofessional to say the least and she is the Manager/owner… The character of a business comes from the top down.
I would however recommend Playground Professionals. Tim is the Owner and has been doing his job for the last 30 years. They are a hidden gem! Willy Goat uses them for the installation of their products. Unlike Willy Goat, Playground Professionals are a full cycle business. Meaning they are able to order your product, pick it up, inventory the pieces, then drive to you all over the USA and install.
The entire process with Willy Goat was filled with lies “miscommunication”, promises not kept, and disorganization.
My experience with Willy Goat started in April 2017 I was looking for a quote. It took me 2 months to get a call back. I finally had all my questions answered via my home email. After this point; however, Gail would only communicate to me via my work email despite my reminding her of it multiple times. In March 2018 we wanted to purchase our “quick ship” Playground and our Basketball hoop. We asked to have insulation scheduled in May so we would have the playground ready for when school ended. Our order was completed in the beginning of April paid in full. Our “quick ship” product which I was told would be here in 7-10 business days and the reason we picked it. This 20K product wasn’t here until almost 60 days later. No email, no communication and a lot of sass when I called in to get an ETA. At this time I called and Gail told me the basketball hoop was delivered. I was supposed to be called to accept the package and was not. So a stranger signed for it. This is a condo building so there are no employee’s just volunteers. Again directions were not followed. I had to leave work and try to find this 1000.00 basketball hoop. Finally found it and reiterated with Gail my expectations. I did receive a call and appointment time for the playground to be delivered at 8am July 6th. The playground was 2 hours late. So I took off 3 hours of work, the playground showed up July 6th. SURPRISE you get curbside delivery… Meaning you have to unload it. The driver asked where my forklift was after hitting a fire hydrant and running over 3 sections of fence. After the fire department left and the 911 operator allowed me off the phone we had to unload 1.5 tons of playground and then a crate out of the truck, inventory 100+ item (which there was not inventory sheet or directions on how to put this together) then put it all back in to the crate and secure it until the installer comes out 7/11/2018. Tim with playground professionals was amazing…
Being a board of directors I was not aware there was concrete in the ground. Willy Goat asked us to dig down 12inch which we did and sent pictures. We didn’t see any concrete. Tim did find concrete in the footing 16 inch down; Tim and I spoke I told him to bill me for it. He was more than accommodating. Gail then proceeded to call me at work again after asking her not to and tell me I needed to overnight her a check without even having a total amount yet. I told her I would submit the invoice once I got it to my accounting department as I am a volunteer on the board. This was not ok and she started to raise her voice; I will be honest I told her working with her has been Hell on Wheels. I had to take off work multiple times because she wasn’t able to communicate effectively. I had to get a check to them within 24 hours or she was going to have time and staffs leave the property and head back to another state. Gail was a real bully.

Just another vote for NOT doing business with WillyGoat. Ordered a swingset from them, and the website implied speedy shipments. NOT! After nearly a week they indicated that my items would not be shipped for 8 weeks. I'm reasonable, but come on... this is 2021 not the 1980's Sears catalog.

Waited the 8 weeks, they say it shipped. Followed the tracking link. The estimated delivery date changed every day. Continually being pushed out. Not sure if the "freight company" is anyone other than Willy Goat themselves. Nobody could provide any information as to what the delay was, or provide an accurate delivery date.

Finally, after I posted a negative review Willy Goat (Gail) emailed me saying that the shipment was short, and was delayed. She recommended if/when I got the short shipment I should accept it short. Ummm... No.

Since it has been months at this juncture I ended up having to dispute the charge on my credit card, and let the CC company charge it back to them. I don't believe they actually ever shipped anything.
