Sat 7th November was suppose to be a beautiful surprise weekend away for our anniversary. Instead it was the weekend from hell.
There were bugs, ants, & cockroaches we had the misfortune of meeting. There was something running around in the roof all night. A cockroach was on my pillow, more in the bathroom on our toiletries & cobwebs all through the house during the night.
We didn't eat, cook or entertain in the house as I was too fearful of what had been contaminated, the property smelt so bad there was no way we could have our guest over for the planned BBQ. The BBQ was totally unusable, covered in rust animal droppings & left over fat products.
The property did not look as it did in the photos. The photos where obviously from years ago. The furniture was different, old & broken. The carpet was stained & torn. There was massive water damage with mould in the kitchen ceiling. The kitchen had missing handles, leaving dangerous screws out to cut. Tea & coffee was not even an option as bugs had eaten the sugar & left droppings all through the wood box. Coffee machine wasn't there as the photos indicated.
The two balconies were covered in garden crap, dirt & rust marks. The entrance mats where dirty & covered in mould.
When contacting the agents on the sat after arriving they said they could send the cleaners back out, we declined as it was a much bigger job then the cleaners that had supposedly already cleaned the apartment.
