Winster's Prize System is a Rip-Off: A Gold Member's Honest Review
I been on Winster for a long time, like since 7/09. I was a Gold member, but let me tell you, the prizes ain't worth it. They cost too much for what you get. And if you sign up and then change your mind and cancel before you get your prize, you can't even claim it. That's just not right. I think it's a waste of your money, and you worked hard for that money.
Winster.com: Beware of Membership Cancellation Hassles
Winster.com is a website that you might want to avoid. If you ever want to cancel your membership, good luck! The instructions they give you won't help you at all. They tell you to click on "My Stuff" and then "Membership" and then "Cancel Membership" on the left. But guess what? There's no "Cancel Membership" button! It's like they want you to stay stuck on their website forever.
Winster Review: Fun Games, Unfriendly Community and Room Thieves
Winster is a website that I stumbled upon back in November of 2011. I gotta say, the site wasn't as friendly as they claimed it to be. The games are designed in such a way that you need to share and trade with others to win. But let me tell you, people would rather waste or not give you anything you need to win. It's like they don't care about winning at all!
Another thing that really grinds my gears is the room thieves. These people go from room to room taking something from you and leaving the room. It's like they don't even care about the game, they just want to take things from others. It's really frustrating and makes me not want to play the game at all.
But, I will say that the games themselves are pretty fun. They're challenging and require some strategy to win. It's just a shame that the community isn't as friendly as it could be. I wish people would be more willing to help each other out and work together to win.
Overall, I would say that Winster is a decent website for playing games. Just be prepared to deal with some unfriendly people and room thieves. But if you can get past that, you might just have some fun playing the games.
Winster: A Great Site for Earning Rewards and Improving Your Gaming Experience
I like this site a lot. If you sign up on inboxdollars.com, you can get 4 dollars for every 1 million points you earn. I've already gotten 3 prizes and it takes a bit of time to get them, but it's worth it. Amazon gift cards are also a great prize. It all depends on what you want, but winster is always trying to make their site better for players. They're always looking for new ways to improve it.
Winster: A Blast from the Past, But Now Gone - A Review
Winster was the bomb! I had a blast playing games and making new friends on there. But, like, it's a total bummer that it shut down on 3/18/2021. They tried to fix it after flash died, but it just didn't work out. It's a real shame, man. Now, a lot of us are on the hunt for a new social gaming site where we can all play together. I mean, you can still play games without flash, but Winster really needed it to function properly. Hopefully, we'll find a new spot soon.
Winster Review: Disappointing Changes and Poor Customer Service - Stay Away!
I been a member of Winster since 2009 and it was pretty good back then. The features were nice and the players were friendly. But then they started changing little by little to accomodate the whiners and cry babies who make up only 1% of the players. After two years of that, they shut down and was opened by a new batch of impersonal and money grubbing people. As a paying member, we are not supposed to get any ads, both audio and video. But now, when I complain, they don't even answer my emails. I sent two a day for a month before they answered me. And when they finally did, they blamed the advertiser for the problem. My advice is to STAY AWAY! Don't waste your time or your money on it!
Winster Game Review: Rude Players, Glitches, and Useless Customer Support
This game ain't what it used to be, let me tell ya. The other players are just plain rude, they snatch up your cards and then leave ya high and dry. And don't even get me started on the fact that most of 'em won't lift a finger to help ya out. Nope, they'd rather spin away a card ya need than pass it on over. It's downright frustrating, I tell ya.
And if that weren't bad enough, the game itself sometimes just freezes up on ya. You gotta log off and sign back in, which is a real pain in the you-know-what. Seems like a lot of folks are having the same problem, too. It's a real shame, 'cause this game used to be a lot of fun.
But the real kicker is the customer support. There's only one guy, Joey, and he's about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. I don't know what his deal is, but he can't seem to solve any of the problems or complaints that players have. I've talked to a lot of other folks who play this game, and they all say the same thing about him. I mean, why would Winster keep someone like that around? He must be one of the owners or something.
So if you're thinking about playing this game, just be warned. If you run into any problems, you're on your own. Good luck getting any help from Joey.
Winster Games: Cool but Frustrating - Website Always Down for Maintenance with No Notice or Compensation
Winster games are pretty cool, but the website is always down. You pay for a membership and then the site shuts down for maintenance every day for HOURS, with no notice, explanation, or compensation to players. If you can't use your membership, it seems like a refund should be in order, right? The site seriously needs to fix all their technical problems. I would guess that most of their technical problems come from low bandwidth and too many free players and ads (my spam filter told me there were 232 ads on your site one day, which explains the lag and site problems). If you add more ads and keep bringing in more players, then you need to add more bandwidth. That's a fix for you, but it might cut into your profits, so I get it.
Frustrating Experience with Winster: Security Issues and Rude Players
I had a bit of a frustrating experience with Winster. I won a prize for a Readers Digest Six month subscription, which was supposed to be claimable one week after I won it, on February 21st. However, when I tried to claim it, I was met with a message saying that there was a problem with the website's security certificate. Apparently, the certificate had been revoked, which could mean that someone was trying to trick me or intercept my data.
I reached out to the Winster website for help, but all I got back was a generic response from someone named JOEY. I'm not feeling too optimistic about ever actually getting my prize.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with what another player named Nancy said about the site. The other players can be incredibly rude. I've been called some very disrespectful names, and then those players just leave the site and come back later like nothing happened. It's not a very welcoming environment, to say the least.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience on Winster. The security issue is concerning, and the behavior of some of the players is just unacceptable. I'm not sure if I'll be returning to the site anytime soon.
Winster.com Review: A Paying Member's Experience with the Site
I seen some reviews saying that Winster.com goes down a lot, but I ain't had too many problems with it. Sometimes it freezes up a bit, but it ain't as bad as people been saying. I'm a paying member and I love playing on the site. Most of the folks on there are real nice and sharing ain't never been a problem for me. I even got $4 in my Inbox account and I'm working on getting a $25 Amazon Gift Card. They got a $10 Walmart Gift Card too that don't take as many points.
I joined up 'cause another paying member said she earned all her Christmas money playing last year and made way more than her membership fee. I thought it would take forever to earn a million points as a paying member, but it don't seem like it's gonna take that long. Plus, they got this Winster Wheel thing where you can click and win points. And when you get down to a certain amount of spins, they give you some free ones.
Overall, I'm having a good time with it and been playing for months now. Sure, there's some freezing and stuff, but it ain't nothing too bad. And I'm getting some real rewards for playing, so that's pretty cool.
