Wondershare Technology Co. Balanced Software with Room for Improvement

As a long-time user of various video editing software, I stumbled upon Wondershare Filmora and found it to be a nice balance between simplicity and functionality. The software offers a good mix of features suitable for both beginners and more experienced users. However, there were some issues with customer service response times and refund policies that left me a bit dissatisfied. Overall, Wondershare Filmora is a decent option for those looking for a user-friendly editing tool, but there is definitely room for improvement in certain areas.

Wondershare Technology Co. Awesome customer support!

Amanda was awesome, patient, and helped me, even though the feature I wanted to find out about ("expandable" form fields) is not available in PDFElement. However, because customer service was so awesome and friendly, I will purchase the product, even though it does not have the expandable form field feature (it's a beast to program, so I get it). Hope it gets added at some point. Thank you and keep up the great work! :)

Wondershare Technology Co. Excellent products with solid and responsive support, not something one can say about other provider

This is a first rate programme backed up by people who respond quickly and precisely with solid information, without asking you to pay first. Thoroughly recommend Wondershare both for their everyday PDF facility and for their more complex film editing programme Filmora. Despite some of the negative feedback from other on this web site I personally have experienced only completely satisfying service from Wondershare for the past 3 years or so.

Wondershare Technology Co. Dependable support team

I have a lifetime purchase of wondershare video converter ultimate from 2017 that was lost during a recent upgrade. At first I was dubious about dealing with on line chat but to my delight they responded in a timely manner, even text me. They were patient and listened to my concerns and by the second day the problem was solved. Just as an added note I am glad I took the time to print off my purchase details and invoice and hung on to them all these years.

Wondershare Technology Co. Superb experience

I was looking to get a new version of the Edraw Max software I had bought back in 2016. I had a lifetime license, but could not navigate through the site to get to the point in which I could get the upgrade. They were able to find the details of my purchase very quickly, provide the solution and lead me to the place in the website where I would be able to get the upgrade. No protracted exchanges. No empty words. Extremely helpful and efficient. I am very grateful about the service.

Wondershare Technology Co. UniConverter: Great Product and Customer Service

I recently upgraded my video editing suite to Wondershare UniConverter. This is a terrific piece of software and takes advantage of the computing power of my 9 core Imac to convert video really fast. One of the features is screen recording which I had difficulty allowing my Imac to access my microphone and this feature. I contacted customer service and arranged for them to remotely examine my Imac and within 1/2 hour, they had corrected the accessibility. Their service was definitely above and beyond and I highly recommend this software and company. I have other Wondershare products, but this is my favorite.

Wondershare Technology Co. PDFelement 6 and 7 pro

I own a small business as an importer of connectors and cables from Asia. It is very difficult for me to get documents from my vendors to support the products I import and sell. If I am able to get documents, It is very important for me to be able to modify the PDF documents to make them my companies documents. PDFelement 6 Pro and PDFelement 7 Pro are both very good programs that allow me to manipulate the documents from my vendors. I am able to remove and add information to the PDF documents to make the documents my company documents. I truly recommend both versions. I am more familiar with PDFelement 6 Pro and tend to use this program more often. Kudos to Wondershare for a really good PDF modification tool.

Wondershare Technology Co. Amanda at Wondershare support for EdrawMax was awesome!

Amanda from Wondershare gave me fantastic (and patient!) tech support today on my perpetual license of EdrawMax. I got either a deliberately misleading email, or just poorly worded, saying my perpetual license to EdrawMax was going to expire in 30 days, and I would not be able to use the product unless I paid for a subscription. I clicked the Chat support button on the edrawsoft.com website, and was a little upset at Amanda when she connected. "Perpetual license" and I have to pay to keep using it? She took my information, looked up my account, and confirmed that my license was indeed perpetual, but the right to upgrade expires in 30 days. She talked me through deactivating my current license, provided the link for the new version, and patiently waited for me to download and install the current version. She then provided my original keycode to activate the software. All up to date and good to go! Great job Amanda! I am an IT professional, and believe me, I know how rare it is to have this kind of tech support experience!

Wondershare Technology Co. Predatory company, unauthorized repeat payments scam, please stay away

From my experience I would sincerely doubt the 5 star ratings being given. This is a Chinese / Hong Kong company and so the exceptional customer service provided by Fiona etc should ring alarm bells as I suspect they originate from them. I used a program called Recoverit to try and recover a file that I desperately needed. Originally I had tried to download the free trial program to recover it but was unsuccessful so ended up paying for it. The file was not recovered and I ended up not being able to access any of my files and unable to login to my laptop due to the changes made, and it going for repair with windows having to be reinstalled. After complaining as the payment was through paypal I managed to get a refund. However what I did not know was that they had set up a repeat billing payment cycle on my debit card / paypal account for an annual licence which still remained active. An email was sent originally in 2019 to say this but as I had not authorized them to set this up and the program prevented access to my laptop I was unaware until the following year. An email was received in 2020 saying the licence was about to renew and to email back with order number if you do not want this, otherwise they would take the money on the card details they had. I replied to say I wanted it stopped but received no confirmation as it was through their website, I had no copy of the email I sent as a consequence. After phoning my bank twice, calling in the bank, and ringing Action for Fraud who said they could not do anything until money was actually taken, I had the bank's agreement they would stop payments from my account on the card details Soft Trend Ltd had. There was a credit balance on Paypal though so the money was taken from my Paypal account instead. I opened a case with Paypal for an unauthorized transaction which was closed with Paypal saying it was not unauthorized. I rang Paypal and threatened legal action as I had already contacted the police via Action for Fraud to stop the payment and my bank had been informed and put a stop on it. Paypal opened another case but rather than it being as an unauthorized recurring payment, it was reopened as an item not received, this has been closed now in my favour with a refund being authorized. When you realize they have a recurring payment set up, as they do, often without you knowing, contact Action for Fraud in the UK, they will not do anything unless money has been taken in the first instance but at least it will be leverage with Paypal. Calls are recorded, make a note of the details, who you spoke to and when, if they do take it you have evidence if a dispute arises with Paypal about authorization, as the offer to cancel the repeat licence by Soft Trend is a pretty empty one which they do not intend to allow, as they are after the recurring payment. It is a company which is predatory in its tactics and the sooner they are shut down the better.

Wondershare Technology Co. MobileTrans

I purchased Wondershare MobileTrans on special and there was a mix-up with email address's which was resolve with a refund for the incorrect email, from there on the software didn't work with on-going email to their customer operators. Finally, it was sent to their B&D department who got back to me stated that the software was on a week Basic and after that the software would not work. Who buys a full programme for just a week. I believe that since then nobody will email me, no wonder you can't contact them by phone. I'm terribly upset with this company and will inform families and friends not to use any software put out by this company. Have read their refund policy, what a joke

Desired outcome: Want all of my personal information remove from their servers with a email stating that this have been done.

Wondershare Technology Co. PDFelement Version: 10.0.1.5766.5258([protected])

The previous version had problems but at least I was able to modify a PDF. This later version presents the user with an undecipherable array of advertisements ("buy these other additional Wondershare tools") while making it impossible to do anything, at least unless the user is willing to wade through their maze. Repeated requests for assistance produce only meaningless pledges to respond (they don't)

-- while their online help is always unavailable (even the address given was a problem). Seeing the vast number of reactions on this site I realize I'm not alone; far from it. I'm entitled to (1) a restoration back to the version I had previously and (2) a refund of what I paid for the "upgrade". I'm looking into both a retraction of that payment (from American Express) and, failing that, will appreciate any guidance about legal action against Wondershare. Help is very much appreciated.

Desired outcome: (1) restoration back to version 9 and (2) refund of "upgrade" payment.

Wondershare Technology Co. Misleading advertising and do not honour "guaranteed" refunds

Avoid this company at all costs! They offer subpar software that does not do as advertised. You can do everything it offers by yourself for free with a little know how. If you want the convenience, use a better company! They claim to offer 30 day money back guarantee but will NOT honour it. I was dissatisfied, to say the least, because their software did not do what it advertised and is useless to me. No big deal, I can get a refund and no harm done. However when I asked for a refund, they ran me around in circles trying to get me to jump through hoops for it and ultimately just ghosted me. Very unethical and borderline, if not outright, fraudulent behaviour.

Edit: They eventually refunded me after I contacted PayPal and left negative reviews. Later however, when I searched something on Google, I wasn't able too due to an error message saying too many requests came from my network... very weird and abnormal and absolutely should never happen. I refreshed my PC to before I installed this company's software and the problem was gone. Later that same day I got the same error message on my phone! I don't use my home network on my phone, only my data so I KNOW it couldn't have been infected with anything else other than this software. Had to factory reset my phone and the issue was gone. On top of that, I began receiving phone calls and messages on WhatsApp from random Chinese numbers. Never before had that happen until installing this software.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS COMPANY'S SOFTWARE. THEY CHARGE YOU FOR LITERAL MALWARE AND THEN SELL ALL YOUR DATA TO OTHER CHINESE SCAM COMPANIES.

Wondershare Technology Co. Filmora

I bought the filmora for a one-off use in Feb 2022 because my daughter need some software to assist with a media study assignment and I was automatically signed up for an annual subscription renewal that I wasn't aware.

My credit card got charged today for an annual renewal of A$77.07 which I initially thought my card details were stolen and was about to report to card issuer's fraud team. I did a quick google search and found out Wondershare is a legitimate company. And luckily I managed to sign in to my account on the same day of the charge to cancel the annual subscription that I never asked for. Unfortunately the charge already went through so I immediately emailed Wondershare and requested refund on the same day as well - the request was declined.

I'm not sure where Wondershare is and couldn't find an Australia custoemr service number to call. The sales practice is unethical here in Australia so I am going to lodge complaint with Australian Consumer Protection Authority too!

I have issues since upgrading filmora 12. I was using filmora for 3 years and purpousely bought this license under LIFETIME. NOW YOU [censored]ING CHANGE MY LICENSE TO PERPETUAL AND ASK ME TO PAY AGAIN! YOU [censored]ING CHEAT ME NOW REFUND THE MONEY!

Wondershare Technology Co. Edrawmind

I downloaded and tried the free version of this software, which had gantt chart features disabled. Once I bought it and unlocked the features, it became clear that the additional features were limited and not able to do what I wanted. I contacted customer support within 7 days for a refund but they refused, stating that the software could be evaluated before purchase (even though the gantt chart could not).

Wondershare Technology Co. Filmora 11 Pro

I bought a lifetime license to Filmora Pro from a reseller.

When I try to enter (redeem) the license key, I receive an error, "Redeem failed, please contact support team."

I have contacted the support team several times. They simply refuse to help because I didn't buy the license directly from them.

They told me to contact the reseller, but he says there is nothing he can do and urged me to contact Support again.

I've paid a lot of money for a free demo product.

I have the attitude of Wondershare 'support' to be utterly reprehensible.

With so many people pirating software these days, one would think a company would respect customers who actually pay for products/

Wondershare Technology Co. Wondershare UniConverter 13

I needed to rebuild my computer and have been installing all my software, when I got to Wondershare UniConverter 13 I went to the site and found that Wondershare UniConverter 14 was available and thought that since I bought the Lifetime licenses for the product I will just upgrade! No luck, they say the Lifetime is ONLY for Wondershare UniConverter 13, not 14. WHY would you have a LIFETIME of anything unless you supplied the upgrades? For $29.99 I can buy the upgrade for my LIFETIME software.

This experience is saving me from spending any more money with them that is the only good thing about this experience. I was looking at the Pro Version of the PDF software they have but no way will I give them any more money.

Desired outcome: Make the Lifetime licenses equate to and apply to new versions of the software.

Wondershare Technology Co. Filmora

I bought a one time activation for filmora but I was automatically signed up for a subscription renewal that I NEVER asked for. When I go to cancel my subscription it has a "No Valid Subscription" notice so I can't cancel it. I've tried to get someone on "Live Chat" but it keeps indicating that there are no people available for live chat. When I call on the phone it keeps saying "there's no customer service attendants available". I can't even find a way to e-mail to anyone as it won't let me send an e-mail. This just seems like one complicated criminal organization. I WANT TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION THAT I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR! Can you please help me cancel my subscription? Wonder share Filmora whatever their name is…They are scammers and thieves! DO NOT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT SCAMMERS. They are not even located in USA! I’m angry that this seems to be so easy to just take MY money under false pretenses and not give it back. They are liars who are lying! I signed up for a trial and a trial alone! When I went to cancel it was a rabbit hole! I could not locate a number and I did not get a response to my email until after the trial period as if they were burning out the trial period time. I shouldn’t have been charged for anything in the first place because I signed up for a trial. How did I get charged for annual when I’m supposed to be just trying it out? Why are they charging anything at all if it’s a trial period? Now they’re giving all kinds of excuses not to return my money. Even try to place blame on me saying perhaps it was my mistake. How is this possible? I feel like I was robbed without a gun. I will join anyone who wants to pursue this thievery in a lawsuit.

Wondershare Technology Co. Fonepaw

Purchased: July 2, 2022.

Order Number / Receipt: #[protected]-[protected]

I purchased Wondershare Fonepaw Android Recovery software to recover lost data after a factory reset. Within a few minutes I discovered this software does not do what Wondershare advertises, which is to recover lost data. Wondershare guarentees its product works and has a money back refund policy.

I can only contact Wondershare support by email to request assistance. Support responds in 24 - 48 hours or not at all. When they do respond, they keep asking for the same information; screen shot of the problem and a description. They never provide a solution to the problem, nor do they respond to my refund requests.

Support ticket ID for Product help & Refund request - ID# 58037 Initiated July 2, 2022

Screen shot after deep scan recovery performed is attached. The folders indicate no files recovered.

Desired outcome: Refund my $37.48

Wondershare Technology Co. Recoverit - Data Recovery Yearly Plan

I bought this product on May 2, 2022 to try to recover data from a compromised scan disk. The website has a 30 day money back guarantee logo/policy and after only owning the product for 10 days, I tried to get a refund on May 11th but IT refused to give me a refund. If their 30 day money back guarantee isn't true, why is it listed on the website?

Desired outcome: A refund for the yearly subscription. $69.99

Wondershare Technology Co. Lifetime Account Fraud

For reasonable people, a Lifetime Account means you buy it once.

I bought a Lifetime Account when Wondershare UniConverter was version 12.

Mac OS 12.3 was released (which removed python 2.7) and now the software is incompatible and crashes at startup.

After installing version 13 (which they claim is MacOS 12.3 compatible) they're asking me to purchase a second "Lifetime Account". I informed them that I already purchased a "Lifetime Account" and they said "Oh, you purchased a version 12 Lifetime Account, you need a version 13 Lifetime Account for the new version."

That's not what a Lifetime Account means - the whole point of buying a lifetime account is that it's supposed to include future updates to the software. You don't get to arbitrarily change a version number and invalidate the lifetime accounts that were already purchased.

I bought the product online and after 1 hour realized this product does not work for me.

They are refusing my refund asking me all sorts of questions screen shots and so on which I do not have and all I want is my refund

I explained that I want my money back and cancelled the purchased and asked for a refund within approximately 1 hour

There are not refunding

I bought the product online and after 1 hour realized this product does not work for me.

They are refusing my refund asking me all sorts of questions screen shots and so on which I do not have and all I want is my refund

I am complaining about deduction of money from my bank account, though i never paid or allow payment for any of your product or service

Am Lucas Ngapu from tanzania, i never subscribe to any of your paid service or product, i recently observed anonymous transcation from my bank account to your conpany debiting me for purchasing wondershare which is quite wrong.
I never did such a thing please review and unsubscribe me from any of ur service or product

I ask my fund to be credited back to my account

Wondershare Technology Co. wasting time to finish Refund period

Hello, I bought a software from wondershare and that software I bought states 7-days money back guarantee. The software I bought states that the error code 4013 iPhone would be fixed but it did not fix my phone. I emailed them 20hr ago to receive my money back since their software didn't fix the error code 4013. They just replied back to me 2 hours ago stating I have to do some troubleshooting. I emailed them back saying that their software page states there is 7- days refund guarantee so i wanted my refund again. Clearly they are trying not to refund the money and go over the 7 days with emailing back and forth so they can screw me over. I would like full refund ($15.36) to get back to my paypal account for the further use. I will attaching ss from their page which states the 7-days refund guarantee as well as fixing error code 4013 with their software page.
They keep trying to troubleshoot different ways to go over 7 days refund policy so they dont have to pay me back. Now they want to remote connect my computer which i refused for privacy and security concerns since they are in China.

Wow, they just did the same thing with me. Spoke to numerous people over an few days. Asked for a refund at day 5 as I was completely dissatisfied with the support so had thus lost any confidence going forward, but have been declined & am now looking to other avenues. The fact that the tech support seems to be Chinese is no help. There are only so many insincere apologies one can listen to.

Wondershare Technology Co. DrPhone

Last 9th August 2021 I purchase a license for Wondershare DrPhone, Order # AD210809354675419699 .
I noticed that it would not work as advertised, and I asked immediately for a refund, which has been accepted, would be credited back to the same method of payment, and could take 7-15 days.
After that period, I've got no refund and I've sent them an e-mail. They promised to check if there was a problem and asked for a new delay. After several e-mails, promises and delays, last 22nd September 2021 they finally told me that the refund could not be paid, because the method of payment was MB.

I must admit that I always had an answer to my e-mails, and I had been given alternatives like Paypal (which I do not use) or bank transfer, but I would have to pay a fee. The operators were generally nice, but I had enough and didn't know if this would work or not.

So I complain because:
1. They took more than a month to give me an explanation, but not the refund.
2. They offer a method of payment that seems to be one-way. They should state this limitation or not to offer it.
3. The product did not work as expected, besides you must log in every time you want to use it. Three years ago I purchased the Wondershare AllMyTube, it seldom work and crash many times. So the products are bad.

If you still want to take the risk and buy something from them, take the above into account, and search before this and other similar sites.

Wondershare Technology Co. PDF editor

I downloaded the free trial of thieir PDF editor on 9/21/21. What was advertised is NOT what I got, and it wasn't free:
1- Functionality limited: Advertised as a PDF editing app, but could not fill in or edit PDF forms (how can you try out software if you don't have access to the common functions?)
2- It created watermarks on every PDF I already had on my machine or downloaded and opened with Wondershare, and discovered later they cannot be removed without paying them $80, rendering them useless, even after uninstalling the software.
3- Even after uninstalling on 9/22/2021, they are tracking my use and have access to and interfere with all documents I downloaded and opened during the "free trial" including forms I own and legal forms containing personal information, because when I right click on the watermark to choose an action (as in delete or edit) a web page for Wondershare opens immediately demanding payment even though I ended the relationship before the "free trial" ended.
This is false advertising, violation of privacy, and extortion... requiring an $80 payment to get the documents you own restored to a useful state during a dysfunctional "free trial" then remaining on your device after you uninstall it like a spyware virus you can't get rid of?

I now have to replace and rewrite every PDF, and pay someone to get their invasive software off of my device.

There is nothing wonderful about "Wondershare". If they hoped to trap me into paying them, it didn't work, and furthermore they've lost customers by beginning what might have turned into a long term relationship by trying to manipulate a sale through misrepresentation and force.

Desired outcome: An actual fox to get rid of every aspect of thier software that "uninstalling" does not address.

Wondershare Technology Co. Free period for GPS modification

After downloading, registering and A LOT of screen wanting me to download piles of applications I didn't ask for, the wondershare software, which I was NEVER allowed to run even once, says that I have exceeded the number of connections...

Now I don't even know what the site has installed in my computer... but this gives me good reasons to fear the worst and illegal intrusion in my computer!

Desired outcome: Clear instructions to completely clean my computer from ANY wondershare software
